I just found out today Nov 11, 2023 that Robbie Robertson died . I am devastated RIP from the Navajo Nation.

His music spoke to my soul. I could hear the voices of my ancestors in his voice. I will miss his presence. I would lije to think he is in a long house with his grandmother, singing the songs of the Six Nations, keeping the stories alive for all if us. 4:41

I own every album that Robbie has ever done via Solo. As for The Band, only have The Last Waltz on CD & DVD of the show.
My favorite is still his freshman album. But enjoy them all based on what mood I happen to be in. His Native American music is & always will be to special to my wife & I. We both have bloodlines to appreciate it. Ogala Sioux & Irish 4 me & Blackfoot, Cherokee & Pennsylvania Dutch for my wife. He's the best songwriter & artist ever in my Heart ❤️. ☮️💟✝️ 😎.

I purchased this cassette tape when it first came out (pre CDs) both for this song and Somewhere Down the Lazy River. All these years later I still have it. I never got into other songs and music that he produced but I think these two songs were worth buying that little cassette for all those years ago.
