    Nice work on the videos gents.
    I was recently able to buy at auction a number of back issues of Octane magazine, one of which was issue 14 of August 2004. Within, they compare the 365GTB/4 (stradale, not competizione) vs 365GTC/4 and made some similar observations to yours, so good work.

    The side drafts may look pretty but they are much harder to work on than the Daytona’s down drafts because of access. I know this because the language used by my mechanic when tuning a GTC4 is much bluer than when he’s working on a Daytona.

      Not a big deal. You act like this is a weekly chore. How often do you really touch the carbs once they are set up correctly. Every 5 years?

      Valve adjustments require removing the entire intake system on a GTC/4. Adds complexity and labor costs.

      @@stuffhappens5681 Try a valve adjustment on the front back of a transverse V-8 Ferrari. I just pull the whole motor out and do it on a stand. But then, it's my car, so the labor is free.

    Nice FoMoCo side mirror! (I’m not taking the urine; it does actually look good!). Great channel, blokes. No idea why it’s not way more popular but please, please keep up the great work.

    I always say this is the Ferrari that James Bond would have driven back then had they issued him Italian cars.

    Hi , I would love to know the height of the driver in the "Gobbone" if possible. I am 6'3" and am interested in getting one of these cars. I ask to see whether it would be comfortable to drive as it is for the driver who seems to have ample headroom and leg room. Thank you

      Hey Marcus, Dave (with glasses) is approx 6ft and Benny is 6ft1. Hope that helps! Oli (The editor).

    Italians called the car, clown lips. Why Ferrari never painted the front bumper body color is beyond comprehension. Black versions look the best.

    • @marcusbonello3106
      @marcusbonello3106 Рік тому

      Actually the Italians call this car Gobbone , due to the curving dip from the front wheel arches to the low front. Not Clown lips

      @@marcusbonello3106 - Maybe. But that’s not what I read. I also read Italians didn’t like the Alfa-Romeo Spider when it first came out. Said it looked like a Cuttlefish.

      @@stuffhappens5681 I am sure about it from friends , my age :-) who often discussed this in Modena Italy area. Gobbone it is in Italy ( This is also in reference to an earlier 50's Fiat model with several similar curves called the Gobbone ) . Also, Gobbone in italian means Hunchback. Clownlips is an american name given by Americans . As regards to the Alfa Romeo spider, you are correct. They call it "osso di sepia" ie bone of squid. Also, I do own a Gobbone of '72. Blu Ortis ( dark blue ) over Beige Connelly leather. Magnificent car all round and a rare one.

    I think the side profile it’s the ugliest part of the car I always thought that it looks like a Chevy Monza from the sides

      Monza and Starfire "borrowed" styling from this car.
