Fun to see review. I never see any women drive countach, or maybe I do not see much? Let's say I am right, obviously this is a specific car in driving, not for every body. I like Countach and Testarossa. In my perfect world, I will drive Countach and my wife will drive Testarossa.

Pronouncation of Countach (coon-tach) could have been looked up before spending to video's butchering it

Love to own both. Both were created to be SuperCars - only the Countach succeeded, the Testarossa is only a GT cruiser.

I've driven several genuine cars, the Porsche is appealing because of its design and simplicity, plus anyone can drive one and get pleasure from it! I think the price is inflated by people encouraging owners to auction them to inflate the price of their own cars? (If that makes sense?)

The P was dropped when the production was moved to Sweden. The title is inaccurate as there is no P1800S, there is only 1800S with S standing for Sweden. Only the early Jensen produced cars has the P letter in front.

I think the 1750 GT Veloce is the prettiest of the 105 Series. The quad lamp front end, the best interior, the most good looking seats, the all.

Mine was lime green , a complete mechanical disaster area , required major spanner spinning and so much body fixing and bashing. But once done, it was like gliding along on a turbocharged magic carpet up in the Lancashire and Yorkshire hills at night. 22 years old and bangin' the back roads firca few months , then swapeed it for a fiat!..... 131 super mirafiori racing supercharged! Oh, my 20s were full of smilely times! Kids today really are ginna miss out.

Yes the countach is a Beautiful car.the only time I saw one was when I was 8-9 years old at a car show. I remember it had velvet ropes around it and it was black with white or cream colored leather seats. Had no idea what it was. But if I had to choose between two cars of that particular period I’d probably choose a Testarossa. It’s got the power but looks better in my opinion. And you’d probably could drive it across the country if you’d wanted too.. and hour in the countach is like going to the gym and it’s not comfortable. But I can appreciate it for what it is and isn’t. Diablo changed all that silly stuff eventually. I do remember my neighbor having this car on his was. White with white wheels and giant wing.

I'm restoring one now. But as I put it all back together, I am "sharpening the edges" a bit. A little lower, a little stiffer, some head work, a fast road camshaft, headers and exhaust... All period appropriate stuff - nothing too extreme, and nothing a neophyte could put their finger on - but all with an eye toward making it a little more eager.

Countach is an absolute different sort of sportscar to TR.....Lambo is just a toy hammer to smash your experience...TR is GT with racing pedigree engine.

Too true Benny, I owned my S1 ‘69 1750 GTV for 12 years and then sold it, some 6 years or so ago, and for the princely price of $6.5K. Damn I wish i hadn’t as it always put a smile on my face when driving it. Still I can’t complain too much as I still have my ‘69 Fiat AC 124 Sport that I have owned for 43 years and my ‘69 Giulia 1300 TI, modified to Giulia Super specs and trim.

My 1964 fastpack was a blast. It ATE pretty much everything on the road for breakfast. The 327 (RD block w/ 202 double hump heads) developed over four hundred horses, getting rubber and all four gears. I also got twenty miles per gallon. But at last, trying to find high test aviation gasoline to run in the car was a challenge. Gone with the glory days

The impact that the Countach made cannot be matched by any Ferrari car, go ahead, think, the design influence, the mystique, desirability, name it, yes it has its shortcomings and imperfections but which car doesnt.
