But this process is not as per IS Code 2386 part 2..as per IS Code formula is 100/w1(1000*ws/V-0.8) and equipment name is sadimentation peepet for sand silt and clay content
As per PWD specification, In volume basis up to 8% of silt is acceptable. Whereas as per IS 383, in weight basis up to 3% of silt is acceptable.
3% silt accepted by weight.
Its very useful.Documented very simply and cleanly.It will definitely help all civil engineers....
