I think there is a correction in the second part to calculate the weight of sand occupying the hole W1= Weight of Sand pouring Cylinder with sand upto top. W4= Weight of Sand pouring Cylinder after filling the field hole. Now (W1 - W4 ) gives the weight of sand filled in hole along with the weight of conical sand portion at top. Hence to find out the weight of sand occupied on hole only , deduct the conical sand portion W3 Therefore weight of sand on hole is W1 - W4 - W3 ( But, eventhough he has substituted correct values , it is wrongly given here as W1-W4-W2) Anyway I appreciate the author for his work....super
there are 2 typos in this great video. As Aksay Kumar mentioned, Wsand=w1-w4-w3 (not w1-w4-w2); Also at around 11:30, equation 6, divided by volume Vh (not divided by Wb)

wooow so helpful i really enjoyed the prac so given only a specific gravity of the soil particles, for instance 2.68, how would you proceed to calculate the degree of saturation of the soil
sir when u placed sand pouring cylinder on excavated hole i think u hv to remove pit ist becoz the pit will increase the hole lenth by 1 to 2 cm by which sand poured is more that can affect the results
i couldn't understand why the technician was hitting the side of the cone? its wrong. when you calibrating the sand you should avoid the disturbance to the cone. its need to be fill in as loose density. if you hitting the cone, that means you giving some static compression to the sand and it will be increasing the BULK DENSITY of the sand.
respected sir ,in the 2 nd part of experiment ,i.e in the calculation of bulk density of soil , in place of W 2 ( i.e weight of sand in sand pouring cylinder after pouring ) , W 3 ( i.e weight of sand in cone of sand pouring cylinder ) should be used.
I heard few musical tunes while you were explaining in this video.... that's nice🙏

Plz check the instruction in IS Code 2720 part 28
u r correct sir
u r correct sir
Really satisfied after seeing this comment I too had the same doubt🙏❤️
thanks
respected sir,thank you very much....
this video has helped me alot in easily understanding the soil test....
good work please keep it up.
Sir I want it in practical writing paper
thank u very much sir.....i was not attend this experiment in lab.....but exam tym i got ur vidio n did it very well....#grt👍👍👍
Very informative and very useful for students and academicians. The way they are conducting experiment is really good and formative

11:30 is not wrong because they multiple it with density of sand
Yes correct
Dear sir ,thank you very much
this vedio is very helpful to understand FDD
Help full videos actually This is a Engineering technical service which you guys are doing such excellent job for other which are not access to the Lab. again thx for sharing
I just got a job because of this video
Thanks you sir❤
Nice n very informative Demo. Thank you
Thanks 4 the video. This is so helpful for us
Best channel for test explanation
Sir teaching was superb sir... Tq u so much sir... Calculation part really helps lot...
Yes
nice explanation ..good job jasveer singh..
An excellent récord thanks a lot sir
Your vedios are very helpful to understand the tests.all vedios are nicely explained👍👍
nice vedio
Vedio🤓
tq sir 👍best vedio for understanding this experiment
it's is very useful at the field. thank you!
Hai sir
your all video very very helpful to me
thank u sir
thank u so much sir
Thank you so much sir for uploading this video
Tq very much sir it's clear and capable to understand
Very helpful for partical soil
Really nice explanation 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
This video is very helpful for me .

Wel explained sir... Thanks
thank you sir jii...really this experiment had helped me a lot for my studies

nice sir................ thank you
Excellent work
Really good...👍👍👍👍
Very well explained 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you sir your good job
Thank you sir.super explanation
Great sir..thankx

Thanks for the video
Wow thanks to you sir it was nice🥰
superb....helpful...
Very well explained sir
Very helpful this vedio
thanx a lot sir ,this is really a great contribution .

good work keep up
Sir,
It is nice
Sir, please check, perhaps the
Weight of sand in hole =(W1 _ W4 _ W3 )
=1444gm.
Thanks.
Good explanation👌👌👌
Such usefull videos
Very useful to us.. thanks a lot sir.. keep uploading more..
Very good 1000000 time thank u

Super video....Bro ningalude videos playlist seperate ayi save cheyyu...Viewers easy ayi playlist ninn kanan pattum
Very educative.
very use full sir
Nyc vidio love you sir g
Thank u sooo much...
Heartful thank to u sir
Tq sm sir for tis viedio 👌😚
Thank you sir and thank you paji
Thank you sir.... You helped me with my internal lab exam.....
Even he will sleep after listening to his 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Literally 😂😂
😂😂
Sir very helpfull viedo...
Thanks a lot
But I am not able to understand one thing that from where you are taking the value of water content.
Very slow explanation but very much knowledge we get 😋☜☆☞
It's very nice but upload all the experiments for civil labs
awsme sir
for Wb = W1 - W4 -W2 is this sure? or Wb = W1 - W4 - W3 ?
good video
Nyc sir
Can we use m sand for tis test?
Tnq sir it was so helpful ,, but there is a mistake in calculating the weight of Wb (i.e. weight of sand in hole)
By taking W3 instead of W2
sir this test is soil compaction or noy
Thank you sir
So helpfully
which stranded method is this?
Why is the depth of hole limited to 15cm in the field?
nice vedio
excellent
tysm sir.
.
very clearly understood. thankyou sir
Thank u sir
Good 👍
sir fdd me calculete me 100+ kyu karte h report me
Good sir
thanks it's very helpful but please explain last part
Faisal Alenzi
Spb🙌
Density of soil Kitna Liya sir apny and water content kaise nikala apny
Thank s sar
thanks for explaining sir :)
Sir how to determine if its pass the test?
Why we use sand which is passing from 1mm and retained on 600 micron
Nice sir
Thank u
thanks
thnku so much
Tnq u
Before pouring the sand in the hole ,the tray below the cylinder should be removed.
11:14
correction
weight of sand in excavated hole= W1-W4-W3
what is weight in cone?
