I’m not a person to preorder games let alone get the deluxe edition of games, but GT7, it’s different. It’s the first game I’ve preordered ever and the first time I’ve gotten a deluxe edition game. I’m really hoping it doesn’t let me down but I see not sign of that
That Apex book is pretty cool. Still got mine from GT5 and it helped me so much to understand everything about cars. It taught me tune a car for what I want it do, like tuned for highspeed, drifting, close gear ratio for curvy circuits etc. Apex is a bible for real
Theres still a lot to like in Sport. GT3 was the first one I played as a kid as well. IF you have a racing wheel setup like a thrustmaster (nothing too fancy) GT Sport feels the best to me. PC support was iffy for most games besides the most hardcore racers, playing Forza was ok (TX Servo base), but something about GT Sport just worked perfectly with the T500. Its fun with a controller too.
Well GT6 was definitely a very nice return for myself to once again enjoy this awesome racing-simulator series after having to deal with so many medical issues during the early 2010s so thanks for reminding myself 😎

the fact this game wont be playable offline via it's campaign mode means I couldn't possibly justify a purchase. When the servers are shut down as they always are then it's goodbye game. It doesn't matter at that point if people have internet connection or not because the authentication needed wont be in place anyway. Access to your game wont exist at this point. Quite how people are ok with this I'll never know but one day people are going to realise what this practice actually means in the long run

One thing that I always enjoyed with this series was the ability to navigate regular showroom vehicles, not just top end models. Before GT was released in '97 most games revolved around high end sports cars and other titles like Forza (great in its own way) still like to cherry pick the top models from each brand. I was still a youth when GT & GT2 were for sale and I was drawn to the fact these budget vehicles were not only were in the realm of possibily of ownership, but also that they could be modified and compete against more exclusive cars. I have not played much since GT5, mainly because my kids dictate what console we have in the house but I am considering buying a PS5 just for myself having watched this.

I Mean for pre ordning it alone you get 3 cars a 100k credits, if you bougth the 25 year edition you get a car and 1.5m credits, so i guess if you want to earn it you kinda have to not use Any of thoes things or wait til after the game launch and Then buy the standard edition
Does anyone know if we will be able to turn off onscreen driver hands and steering wheel? This was not a feature in GTS as I’m sure Kaz has a sponsorship deal with gloves manufacturer (Puma), should at least be an option for the player IMO.

It depends on whether Xbox has more games you wanna play. Xbox Game Pass is only a deciding factor if you're the type of player who likes to try all sorts of different games. Otherwise it becomes a subscription you sign up for and only ever download games when it happens to have something you're interested in, which is my case.
Been missing Gran Turismo. Last one I played was GT5. Didn't have money at the time of GT6, though I did rent it. GT Sport was rather boring and the lack of customizations left me uninterested in playing it.
GL with the AI when they fully implement it into the game the fastest players in the word can’t beat it, GTS has two player split screen I can’t believe nobody knows this gonna suck maintaining the cars to race the no remember washing your car used to add performance in GT1

Damage, along with repair cost, would go a lot further in deterring some of the trash assed dirty drivers. I hate someone who plays GT like it's Mario fucking Kart. I pay to RACE, not for demo derby!
Im not a fan of the HUD its just a cluster fuck of things going on. It should be optional for data analysis on the car etc like Forza has. Id really love to see the simple Analog rev gauge like GT3 return.

Too much the same same as before, I think this is lazy. Maybe one day they will provide the players with a true no frills driving/racing game in the GT catalogue, something that has true guts of the racing genre... and damage models, I dont want oil changes I want true damage models, with performance effects... and AI drivers that have very different styles of driving, and fight hard on final laps. Its time the poly team got some new blood with a new gutsy direction.
It's not that PD doesn't want to put realistic damage into GT, it's the license agreements that don't want to see their ultra-modern, elitists models looking like they went through a destruction derby because your thumb slipped off the analog stick from Doritos dust.

You have to remember that Gt Sport was basically a prologue to GT 7!
I really enjoyed the gt6 coffee break side quest. Although it may be really short, it really is fun and some challenging to get the perfect score!

As GT has always been more of a ‘scinematic’ experience, I do not think so. But we shall see

As far as the AI goes, look for something called "Sophie" on UA-cam. It's a new AI they're developing for the game that seems promising.
