Great video. I love what he said about kids. I see so many kids that are so disrespectful to their parents at such a young age. It makes me sad. My kids reading levels was above - college level in middle school. When I was pregnant with my second child, we were stationed in Guam. I had an amazing doctor, who always took time to talk to me and my ex after the exam. He told us to always make time for each other, teach kids there is momma/daddy time without them. He said there is parent burn-out and every couple needs that alone time. I can remember home economics as well as a class that taught us finances and how to your own taxes. Time has changed so much.
I have to say that this video is my all time favorite!!! I love the content and completely all the information!! I especially love that it was wrapped in the love of God and His will for men and all that family is supposed to be. To glorify Him and live for Him in our daily lives. Thank you both for bringing a new way of preparedness in our faith walk with the Lord as our Guide and Ultimate Warrior ❤ Poet!

I really appreciate that Lehman’s puts the country of origin on each of their products where it is easily found. You can also filter each category and easily find products made by Amish and made in America.
Love this episode! We’re building our off grid homestead now with a 3.5 year old and 2 month old along for the ride. It’s been hard, but this was a great reminder of why we’re doing this. Youve got to live your beliefs.
I have watched John and the Warrior Poet Society a handful of times and was not overly impressed. However, this interview has me rethinking that assessment. Although I don't necessarily agree with all the points (everything is not always black and white), I can comfortably say that I have a new appreciation for his messaging and by association, the messaging of this pantry chat. Good interview.
John's message is very much tailored for a specific group of listeners, and he has a very large and devoted audience. His message of becoming a man of honor and character is very needed in this current generation! I am not in his particular audience, so I know that not all of his advice or questions are meant for me, but knowing that I'm still able to learn so much from him. He is the real thing and has a lot to teach us. He knows that he doesn't know everything but encourages all of us to continue learning and striving toward a better life for ourselves and our communities. I have loved watching his family's transition to a more homestead self sufficient life over the last few years. This interview is a perfect continuation of his talk at the Homesteaders of America conference!
I love both of you guys, thank you for taking the time to do this for us. These collaborations really help me narrow down who is legitimate to listen to online. It's tough because there are a lot of pretenders, so seeing people like you come together really helps me identify who I can be confident learning from. Just a quick add to this comment. I actually pulled my 22 year old son over and watched it through with him. It led to a helpful and fruitful conversation. Thank you again.
I hear you mention protecting your property with trust or LLC. I would like to know more about that…I want to put all our assets into something that protects land etc but still gives my children right to sell if need be
We have watched probably all of his full UA-cam videos. Although I do not know him personally, I feel like I have a pretty close observation that this guy is 100% Christian, has a GREAT sense of humor (typical guy like my husband), treats his wife with great respect, & loves his kids deeply. His videos on gun classes are very good. I've learned a lot from the WPS videos. So much so is that my husband & I have hesitant to get a Glock style pistol. Guess what? We liked his classes so much we purchased two of his Warrior Poet pistols built by Shadow Systems with the red dot sight, etc. As we get older, the red dot helps our eyes. We've had them for several years now. I do like the gun, but I've not quite gotten used to the red dot. I need to shoot more, & train more, obviously! I am VERY glad to see him on this website! He has much to teach us & is VERY SMART! I really like his belts! As I lost weight it was easily cut to my size. Secondly, the holster was okay at first, but as we practiced more we both (husband & myself) found we liked the pistol butt tilted forward more. It's easily adjusted by just removing the bolts & tilting it how you want it. Now I pack my gun with me all the time on the property. I have a gun purse, but I've found it much better to be packing on my hip rather than in my purse. As a victim of a violent crime I know I have only seconds to think & react. Getting a gun our of my purse takes too many seconds!!! Practice, practice, practice with your guns! Cramphorn's
It’s been a bit…lol…but I had a teacher who not only taught economics, he gave us individual kits where we were responsible for our “made up family’s” finances. We had to “budget and pay bills”. I had seen my parents do this so I understood the basics but this high school class helped reinforce it. We also had vocational classes and home economics…it seems many kids now don’t know how to boil water or understand a budget. It’s sad, I worry about them for life in general.
Sending my children off to public schools was one of my biggest regrets. I lost my son to suicide and my daughters are very liberal, and don’t believe in God anymore. My grandchildren are being taught the same ideology now. All I can do is give it to God and pray.
I have many regrets like you with public schools, but I blame myself for my children's behavior. I was NOT strict enough. Our generation was not strict enough. You can see it across the entire age groups the kids kept getting softer, "squishier". Parents bought their kids bikes, computers, games, cars, etc. Instead we should have been getting the kids outside or interested in reading. We started reading to them at an early age hoping this would sink in. However, with the 'government schools', the other kids in school were lazy, did not do their homework, & looked at ways to cheat or just not do it. Thus they rejected our words of wisdom.
@ my kids love reading and have tons of books to this day. Unfortunately, their choices in books have changed. LGBTQ, fantasy books that are over sexualized, and other things. It’s just hurtful and not how I raised them.
@@Nenea1970 Oh, how awful! But if they are mixed with other kids, the peer pressure is there to read the same type of fantasy books. My heart & prayers go out to you! Wow, I had no idea how bad it is now.

Two of my favorite internet guys in one place, what a great crossover!
Thanks for watching!
I've followed John Lovell and WOS for several years now. It's great to see the two of you come together!!

This video is so well needed to others! We also teach about Our Lord first!
John Lovell is great. Love his humility, faith, and wisdom.

Great video

What a joke, the second amendment has no value, when a person who defends their home and family gets jailed for doing so.
Still, I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
