This by far is the second best personality test I have seen. Most tests only look a behavior. This one is much closer to psychoanalysis. Brushfires ministry helps you find your God-given design and takes it a little deeper than this test.

I don't need the test to tell me that I'm the innovator, builders often get irritated when we inform them of a better way. They usually don't want to hear it, they just do it.. that's probably because they've run into incompetent innovators before, and It's easier to agree with a mirror anyway. (If it aint broke, don't fix it.)

I am not or never was military, but I'm short at 5'7" and 195 lbs with an athletic dad-bod-esque build, and I have friends and relatives who are current military or veterans.

Big question John! Is it worth it in today's United States to join the military, more specifically joining special operations? I'm prior military thinking of going back in for special operations. BUT, I genuinely don't think it's worth it to sacrifice so much for a President and an Administration that doesn't give two craps about America or its people.

As someone that has worked in a 1099 corporate environment most of my life, and have taken many “personality tests” I can tell you that the way they are administered are very faulty for many many reasons. Personalities cannot be tested in 1-2 hours. They are completely bogus. They are also easy to manipulate. This also screams, putting Individuals in a box. As you can tell I have a lot of problems with these personality tests. When there are soooo many exceptions to “rules” they are no longer rules.

I really enjoy learning about how my peers can contribute to the team. I don't label myself as 'the leader' of our team. The upper management wants us all to be 'leaders'. This is very tough on senior operators who assume with experience comes the title of 'crew leader'...
Inableing coworkers is what I enjoy most about my job, but junior employees who bring their prior leadership roles to an environment that has other directives, can become counterproductive.
    Any suggestions?

It seems that CVI is closely related to any other team building and development psychometric tests that are in the marketplace; just renamed and rebranded with different names for the (always) four categories of people. Having been subjected to a number of different tests in my corporate career over the years, I see little - if any - differences. But always a good exercise if individuals and teams are interested in learning more about themselves.

I just took the free test. I think there is something wrong with the way it's conducted. Many of the answers I wanted to select all or three of. But it only allows you to select two. Many are of equal value to me or I work with more then two all the time. Limiting you to two seems like it forces you out of a possible category and into another. I have strong builder qualities based on the video but it didn't even list that in the results. I'm a little skeptical of the validity of the free test

I know I'm late to the comments, however, here are my thoughts. I've taken a many personality assessments (DISC, Strength Finders, Myers Briggs, Enneagram, etc., and even various spiritual gifts test) and I always hear the same thing. "The others don't really help but this one does." While the CVI uses different words for the 4 categories of personalities the descriptions of each are the same as any other personality assessment (think Lion, Otter, Golden Retreiver, and Beaver vs Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness). If you removed the category titles and only gave the descriptions no one could be certain of which personality assessment you were referring to. This isn't to say that CVI isn't useful. This is akin to multiple people trying to describe an elephant simply by a single part. Each one is not wrong, but nor are they completely right. I've taken many assements not because I'm looking for the "perfect" one but because I'm wanting to discover another part of the "elephant" (myself) to gain a greater perspective.

I've seen what the military have done to men, mainly my grandfathers, uncles and cousins. The way things are going guerrilla don't die we just regroup in donkey kong country. Not bound by military law. Beware.

Every time I comment about China invading the AI shadow blocks my comment. Why do you think that is?

Hey whatdoyaknow, I’m a builder-innovator. 🎉 My company used one of these type test. I really hate these test but later I found out that my test score exactly matched my boss’s score (brownie point me!) The funny part is we both have big time trust issues until we judge your loyalty and then loyal to a fault! I eventually left and moved on due to political affiliations of the corporation but I still go to poker events with my old boss! Clue: The corporation would not fly an American flag infront of their properties.
