damn this is the type of setup that always interests me. simple camping approach. very nice truck and those wheels are chefs kiss.
Nice video. I have a 2016 F150 also. For protection I recently removed the factory FX4 skid plates. Engine /XFR/ and this weekend the fuel tank skids. I went with RCI’s metal skid package that includes front skids/transmission and transfer case skids. Was so impressed that I ordered the fuel tank skid also. Huge upgrade over stock. Highly recommend. Take care.

25mpg stock? How? I have a 2018 3.5ECB as well and never got close to 25mpg even going downhill with a tailwind.
If you haven't figured out the exhaust rattle yet, my '16's rattle was from the heat shield!

25 miles per gallon with a 3.5 ecoboost 4x4? How is that possible? Do you only drive downhill or under 50 MPH? How do you calculate the mileage? The factory rating is 18/23 MPG which is usually unattainable in the real world.

I dunno man. I got 25 mpg calculated by hand a few times. Pretty flat from Iowa to Nebraska when we head to colorado.
I don't know where you live in iowa but it's beautiful there. Nice looking truck. Got my 2018 F 150 last year in lightening blue. I also live in Iowa. SW corner.
This video was shot up in northeastern iowa near Decora. Quite a drive. But it's nice.
I have a 19 f150 and really want to start over landing but I feel limited by this short bed. 3/4 ton trucks popular for over landing?
I think you'll be set. We just mounted a roof top tent to our santa cruz with a 4ft bed. And it had been plenty for overlanding so far

Pickups like the FSeries always gets crap from the suv boys on over landing😂 this makes me want to build one for hunting trips.
His milage is not bad, my 21’ F150 3.5eco boost gets me 13.2mpgs with a 6” bds lift on 35s in farm country.

I wouldn't. They are pretty low quality. Just remember, cheap ain't good and good ain't cheap!
I think you can do a RC if you go coil-over. Their new vertex v2 with reservoir are decent. They are better than they used to be, but the basic lift kit is for looks only.
