I found out today that the new-to-me 2005 VW Beetle GLS turbo convertible has a windshield wiper reservoir with a crack in it. All the fluid that was put in just dripped out from the bottom. Do you have a video showing how to access the bottom for repair, or how to remove and install the reservoir? Thank you SO much for all your videos! They are going to help me get my new bug back to excellent condition :)
I have the same issue with my 2005 VW convertible. I need to replace it but cannot find a single video on how to do it. Were you able to get your fixed or replaced?
@@Jackofallthetrades got a NW from 2001 with windshield reservoir same problem as you. can yoou send me the video if you found out ? did you managhe to do it alone ?
@@Captain_Kebab I got rid of that years ago, fortunately. It was nickel and dining me and had to go. It was fun while it lasted, but that didn't last long
I have a 2005 VW Beetle, I have put in a new Battery, new alternator, something keeps draining my battery, I need help, as to what could be the problem. Thnks
The interior lights were draining mine. I had a faulty trigger switch in the door area. It wasn't obvious either that this was the cause until taking the fuse out and leaving it for a while.
Perfect illustration & notes, removing & replacing the tank went smooth as silk within minutes.
Wow! Most helpful video ever!! Thank you !!

You should remove the passenger inner fender to have more access. I'm glad that my videos works for you.

Disconnect the radio and check if it continues to discharge the battery. Most of the time it is the faulty radio.

Aún no me ha tocado removerlo, pero entiendo que puedes tener mejor acceso removiendo el plástico del guardafangos.
