The peanut sauce you call is what we call "kare-kare". We Filipinos love to name people and foods repeatedly. That is why we have halo-halo, kare-kare even names of people like Jonjon, junjun, bokbok etc etc. Even our fish are called maya maya, lapu lapu

Had a cousin back 2012, who had a baptism celebration there and we were fortunate enough to have attended (as we were staying then for 3 months prior to emigrating from Australia to Canada) Love the vibe of the place and the staff work tirelessly to entertain and serve you. The decor has indeed changed to a more brighter look. I take my hat off to the staff and the establishment and hope to one day visit the place again. Love the vids Ali, keep up the great work brotha!

You, Harry, and Danny should go to Tagaygay City just a few minutes from Manila and try the famous "Beef Bulalo"(Grass Fed Beef shank) and Seafood Pancit Guisado. It is to die for! You would not regret it. I promise.
It's late in the evening so their energy is a little bit low than usual. Yes, you heard it right they can go more than what they did in this video nonetheless amazing performance and their food is of course a topnotch.
It is good to know that The Singing Cook and Waiters, Atbp. is still around as I have fond memories of this restaurant then located at J.P. Rizal Makati as I and my friends from the record bars were serenaded by the cooks and waiters before we ate our dinner.
Overwhelming hospitality of this restaurant eventhough they are on closing hour they still accommodate you as their special guests. Sure one day you will also experience Filipino hospitality in their home & try home cooked traditional meals.

The peanut sauce you call is what we call "kare-kare". We Filipinos love to name people and foods repeatedly. That is why we have halo-halo, kare-kare even names of people like Jonjon, junjun, bokbok etc etc. Even our fish are called maya maya, lapu lapu

These are 3 of the songs they performed, "Bu-chi-kik" by yoyoy a novelty singer. The song has zero meaning. Yoyoy wrote that song from the chinese sign boards in china town. 😄, then "Kabilugan Ng Buwan" (full-moon) and the spanish song "Besame Mucho".

A reminder why Philippines used to eat plain rice in every meal just because most Philippine foods are sweet, salty or a combination of sweet and salty and some dishes are with vinegar and soy sauce to enhance the flavor and to balanced the flavor..and rice is life in the Philippines 😅

Had a cousin back 2012, who had a baptism celebration there and we were fortunate enough to have attended (as we were staying then for 3 months prior to emigrating from Australia to Canada) Love the vibe of the place and the staff work tirelessly to entertain and serve you. The decor has indeed changed to a more brighter look.
I take my hat off to the staff and the establishment and hope to one day visit the place again. Love the vids Ali, keep up the great work brotha!

It is good to know that The Singing Cook and Waiters, Atbp. is still around as I have fond memories of this restaurant then located at J.P. Rizal Makati as I and my friends from the record bars were serenaded by the cooks and waiters before we ate our dinner.
Overwhelming hospitality of this restaurant eventhough they are on closing hour they still accommodate you as their special guests. Sure one day you will also experience Filipino hospitality in their home & try home cooked traditional meals.
