Well done, Lamont. I enjoyed this tour. Regarding Leon Russell, I looked up some info. His "A Song for You", which was named to the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2018, has been recorded by more than 200 artists, and his song "This Masquerade" by more than 75.

Waymon Tisdale is buried right inside the cemetery’s main entrance at 51st & Memorial. When you enter his memorial is directly to your left in a pretty large display. Can’t miss it. I too was surprised to find out about Oral Roberts. (Yes, spelled ORAL). Strange to discover his grave has no flare or fanfare. Just a small simple marker in an anonymous space. Usually surrounded with candles, unopened beer bottles, cigarettes (save for weather), guitar picks, joints, pipes, stuffed animals, photos, money etc. Some of the items & tributes have been there for almost 30 yrs. And no one dares to touch any of it. Not sure why Lamont failed to mention him in this video.

Hello I live across the street from the Memorial Cemetery in Tulsa and never knew how many people that are well know here in Tulsa that was buried over there. But the criminal history of Tulsa you tell the stories of them all with very good results and a lot of fact's. I've seen a lot of your UA-cam videos on Tulsa and the small towns around here how do you find the stories because some of them are not nation wide news but local news. Love what you are doing be safe and my GOD bless and protect you wherever you go. Thank you
Welcome to Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweeping down the lane!! So sorry for all the sad stories here but thank you for giving some respect to them!!
I really enjoyed the format of this video, more than just a focus on one interesting person or case, but some insight into the people we would normally just walk past and not think of again. Thank you for the homework that this required! If there isn't more of the story on the headstone or a photo, it's so easy to keep moving.
I loved every minute of all the stories you told. So very interesting. God bless you always sweetheart…and stay safe in all your travels, so all of us can learn about the people who passed, and HOW they passed. RiP to all of them. 🌹♥️🥀
Lamont when I see young lives taken because someone had to get behind the wheel drunk it just burns me up. To think a child lays in a grave while the perpetrator lives is a hard one to swallow. Leon Russell was famous in the 1970's, he did the Mad Dogs and Englishmen tour with Joe Cocker and Concert for Bangladesh with George Harrison. If you ever get a chance listen to the Concert for Bangladesh album, tape etc I promise you will love it. I saw Leon twice the last time was in Pgh Pa and I was 15 ft. from him while he played he was an excellent entertainer. A year and a half he passed away. R.I.P. Leon.

Hi Lamont, the mistakes that people make in life, that cause others to lose there lives. So sad, that gravestone of Caroline Ann, was so beautiful, that must have cost a fortune, what a great job. RIP to everyone. Thanks Lamont, another great video. Xxxxx
It amazes me that Leon Russell and Leon Wilkeson, fron Lynyard Skynyrd were born on the same day 10yrs apart and Wilkeson's middle name is Russell along with his father. Both Leon's were bass players and VERY colorful on stage. Check out the top hats of both men's grave markers.
Leon Russell *Lady Blue.* 1975* peace time traveler. Also, I am a retired Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who worked with juveniles who were pending transfer once they turned 18 due to most had adult criminal felony murder convictions or gang related felonies. Anyway, the largest population was from Oklahoma, Las Vegas and Massachusetts. One girl who'd just turned 18 was driving drunk and hit/killed a family of 5. She was a Native American which at the time a battle ensued where to send her. Texas has Mountaintop a General Pop facility known for violence. Private prison was hopeful for most. You mentioned the 10 years probation when the manslaughter drunk gets once out, she'll never make it. That's purposeful and a setup.
I like this longer video. I admire the respectful way you tell the stories except for the pieces of crap who don't deserve respect. The way you carefully set up the bunny touched my heart. I watch all your videos & like them all. Excellent work. I anxiously await the next one
I live in Tulsa Oklahoma. So wish I knew that you were here then. Leon Russell was amazing. What a beautiful headstone. He was loved by MANY. Thank you for visiting his resting place and giving some of his story.
Mr. Lamont ; Sir I want to say what you did to that bunny broke my heart, clearly you care about the dead I live in Stuart Florida and have a very small cemetery on South Kanner Hwy and once in awhile I will go in there and visit and clean the graves of all the forgotten. It breaks my heart that their tombstone's are faded vines and weeds over take them and no one cares I call myself The Caretaker Of The Forgotten thank you for your respect. I Remain Sincerely.
THANKS, LAMONT! GREAT VIDEO!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😁😁😁 ORAL ROBERTS WAS A "SHADY" CHARACTER WHO LIVED A "LAVISH" LIFESTYLE. DUPED A LOT OF FOLKS THROUGH HIS TACTICS. LIKE BENNY HINN.
Thanks for another great episode. This cemetery is so huge, probably the largest non-military cemetery I've been to, that finding any kind of grave is like a needle in a haystack. The staff at the building are very helpful that they'll find any person for you. I've been to a couple of the graves you were at in this episode plus Sam Kinison's, which I know you did in another episode. I was trying to find Bob Wills' grave but that one was difficult to find. Very touching stories you've told in this episode about the innocent that were killed.
Eric Matthew is my age...I can't imagine having my life cut short in 1997. My heart goes out to all those who are deceased and to their families. May their souls rest in peace.
I have been there many times. My husband's brother is buried there as well as some close family friends. I like looking around there. It is a very large cemetery. Thank you for doing a video on this cemetery. Husband's brother was only 4 when he died due to complications of cerebral palsy. It is always a clean cemetery.

Oh I so loved Leon Russell I have several of his albums and eight tracks. I loved his song "Lady Blue" I could play that over and over again. What a beautiful Memorial to him. Just a different but great singer he was back in the 1970's. A very good Vlog today Lamont.
Leon Russell was an amazing person thank you for going to his grave he has a lovely stone with a nice image of him the way he used to look in the early '70s he was actually a very handsome guy...
BEST HOUR OF MY DAY!!!! THANK YOU LAMONT!!!
I really enjoyed this video. Often when wondering through the graveyard,I wonder about what their life was like
You didn't even watch it all silly
I love the way he brings their stories to life. going into a lot of detail well as much as he can find out and how he sets the color and the mood for each story. Love watching you, Lamont!
Thank you
Agree
Uncle you do what I do when I visit the cemetery…spend time wondering about what a random persons life was like 🙏🏿
Welcome to Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweeping down the lane!! So sorry for all the sad stories here but thank you for giving some respect to them!!
@Shlyjones ….wind comes sweeping down the plains.
@@JD-ku6vd but it’s happier saying lane!! Thank you for correcting it!! 😊
@@shlyjones7591 😄I agree, but apparently Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein begged to differ!
I really enjoyed the format of this video, more than just a focus on one interesting person or case, but some insight into the people we would normally just walk past and not think of again. Thank you for the homework that this required! If there isn't more of the story on the headstone or a photo, it's so easy to keep moving.
That's wonderful to acknowledge some of these deceased people...at least they will not be forgotten!!! Lamont you are doing an awesome job!!♥️💯
R.I.P. Leon.
I enjoy watching your videos! I like the respect and kindness you show when showing and talking about the graves & it’s awesome you fill the bird feeders. I like your sense of humor as well 🙂
I've been waiting patiently for you to make another video like this. My last time watching a video like this that you've made was a long time ago. Great work and coverage on each case. RIH To The Deceased Victims, My Sincere Condolences goes out to the families..
Love Leon Russell! He did the song TIGHT ROPE! Beautiful grave stone so PERFECT for him!
We have a prison ministry in the Gatesville prison
They should have given her life.....I was at the scene if its the one on 11th &Memorial.
I really find this kind of content very interesting. Please do more. That being said, Rest in peace to all of the aforementioned persons in the video.
I like this longer video. I admire the respectful way you tell the stories except for the pieces of crap who don't deserve respect. The way you carefully set up the bunny touched my heart. I watch all your videos & like them all. Excellent work. I anxiously await the next one
I love, love, love Wayman Tisdale.
He was as magical on the bass as he was on the court.
Thank u for the great stories so sad how they passed away that way so sad

I live in Tulsa Oklahoma. So wish I knew that you were here then. Leon Russell was amazing. What a beautiful headstone. He was loved by MANY. Thank you for visiting his resting place and giving some of his story.
Seen Leon Russell in concert for the azalea festival in Norfolk Virginia with the Nitty Gritty dirt band loved his music and his voice great show
Lamont, thanks for walking thru the cemetery as you always do and telling all these deceased people,s stories. Stay safe out there!
Oral Robert's was well known in the Midwest, love the 4 pic tombstone, I always use zero fishing poles, very interesting stories, please keep it up
Be in prayer for the ones that lost there life in the Tulsa shooting at the hospital and for the injured
💔😢🕊🙌🏻 SMH
May they rest in peace.Good commentary.
THANKS, LAMONT! GREAT VIDEO!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😁😁😁 ORAL ROBERTS WAS A "SHADY" CHARACTER WHO LIVED A "LAVISH" LIFESTYLE. DUPED A LOT OF FOLKS THROUGH HIS TACTICS. LIKE BENNY HINN.
Exactly
That guy you described Lamont that had all that money and he wants to go out and steal. I'm at a loss for words. All I can say is wow. Wow.
God Bless their Souls. R.i.P. to them.❤❤💙💙🙏🙏
Thanks for another great episode.
When I was a teenager I was a huge Leon Russell fan. I still love his music.
If anything stories like these have thought me never to take anyone I love for granted & I try to cherish the little things in life, for it can all change in the blink of an eye.
RIP.
Beautifully said!
Lamont I’m sure you’ve heard about the mass shooting at one of our area hospitals. It was awful. Two doctors lost and their office worker. The other killed was a patient who was waiting for his appointment. We are very sad in tulsa today.
Modern Renaissance Man posted video this AM...Ty is a good guy...check it out
@@conservativehippie9736 love his channel
@@ashesantics me too!!! 😃❤️🔥
Thank you Lamont love the way you always give respect to those who have passed on even the bad ppl that really don't deserve it but, bless you and stay safe much love Caring Lamont . 😊😊🙏🏻🙏🏻
Singing "And when this life is over", Leon Russell is the originator. Many renditions done. One of the most beautiful songs ever written. Yes sir. Beautiful grave. RIP
I love Leon Russel. He was so talented and is on many many albums as back up.
Thank You for the indepth information about the graves of the people famous or not, much appreciated!
I use to do this, years ago. But when my daughter died in 2021 it has become really hard for me. I just think of her, out there, with so many other forgotten ones. Pure pain..
Sorry for your loss I lost my mom last year an her name was Sharon..how ironic 😇
Thank you Lamont well done as usual! love from the UK x
