It's an Allen bolt that attaches it to a bracket on inner deerskin. Hole is just big enough for the allen. Then its filled by a little push in plastic plug for appearance
i would have left the window not attached to the regulator so it may drop right to the bottom so window is out of the way to install top weather strips
