Great looking waterfall but I would have loved to see more of how you built it, and not so much about the delays and tearing apart the old one. Show us the plumbing, the pump, what you did with the pond.
Next time!
I loved everything about this video. But I have to be honest, I would much rather hear the sound of falling water at the end when you are showing the viewer around. This hyped up music is fine for a timelapse or sumsuch, but when you show the result, have some moments with nothing but flowing water!
13:01.. you hear the actual noise of the water flowing?
So beautiful. Lovely to watch.
Amazing.
Looks better than most waterfalls I've seen in nature no joke.
Beautiful redo it looks super natural not like stairs!! Great Job!!!
That is BEAUTIFUL
Amazing work. Can't find a good landscaper like you. Wish you were out my way.
Very nice. Well done. I may do a rock and gravel garden without water. Just easier maintenance.
Gorgeous!
Dude! If I were a goldfish, that's where I'd love to call home. Just keep swimmin! Jaak, you said something in this clip that hit it spot on. "Honing your craft" That my friend is correct. And you have mastered it!!
Next time your working on a steep slope with the machine, you can run a winch cable off the back of your machine to a stationary truck or other machine setting at the top of the hill.
Awsome waterfall. Great video too. Well done to the crew in such crappy weather.
Awesome you guys are very creative love 💕 it
Your work is grate. I wish you were down in my country.
When I see the previous waterfall, I was; Whats wrong with it? It doesnt look too bad...
And now when I see this new waterfall; Oh now I see, the previous waterfall looks unnatural & man-made, it were built like a fortress rather than a nature's waterfall. The new waterfall definitely looks way much better.
Glad to see you show the hardship & obstacle building it, its a part of the process that shouldnt be left out.
Never let us Down Jack and Crew.. This one is also Epic 👌 Kudos. Knock it out of the ball park once again..
Stunning work❤️
One of your best ever, but the natural slope helped and for Free was quite generous.
Wow what an amazing waterfalls and landscaping to go with it. Incredible and so absolutely amazing. Fantastic job like always jake. Never get enough of your waterfalls. Your so incredibly talented.
Outta the park, Jaak👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The editing on this video is sick
Thanks! We have a great editor :)
And it’s got pond plants ❤️
Great looking waterfall Jack.
one of, or the best work I have seen you guys do....that previous waterfall was a joke...
eh, 4 out of 10. More interesting than not having one.
@@jeffk464 we would love to see what a 10 out of 10 looks like! Got any?
Jaak, come to my place in Australia and build me a no charge waterfall and koi pond! Haha... another incredible job by your team. - Rob.
Wow free one have fun good luck Nothing free
Wow love this one.
Absolutely beautiful! You did a fantastic job with this one! It is definitely one to be proud of ;D
Great video as usual. Have a great weekend.
Omg! This is gorgeous, I can quarantine there all my life, lol! Are you in the LA area?
We’ve done projects in LA
It's amazing. What happens now when it rains? Because of access and number of rocks... give us a ballpark on costs.. 10 thousand$?
Water it’s diverted on the hillside above through 2 swales. This renovation was about $40K
I'm in South Africa when can you do my free waterfall
Stunning work 😊😊
😂😂
A work of art , Excellent job !!! What’s the cost of this type of waterfall ?
The new waterfall certainly is nice, but what was wrong with the first one? It seemed nice.
Nice Video 👍🌞
What does something like this cost?
It's a very nice job.
This project was about 40K
What happens when it rains heavy does all the mud go into the pond ?
There are drainage swales installed above it
How much???
You asked what the problem is?What is there to not like about this video...
Well it’s you!😁
😘
If you love what you do..... You don't count it as work....
Yes!!!
What's the promotional passcode again for the free waterfalls?
Just kidding great job! When I grow up I like to become a pond builder.
Just enter your cc#. Works every time 😂
Home sweet home! 💦
So it wasn't wrong, just different. Alrighty.
Fabulous..!
(FREE 😉)
The new waterfall looks amazing, but these are definitely rich people problems.
The only reason I would watch this video is to try to learn how to do something in this video did nothing for me. I don't know any reason somebody would watch this I didn't trying to learn something.
Agreed. First one looked fine. Not as natural, not as many large boulders. Water features need to look natural. It isn't human art. It's more random according to the laws of nature. These people obsess over negligible things.
@@buttercatz99 Imagine getting butthurt over what someone decided he wanted in his own backyard. The new water feature looks 100X better...likely at 100X the cost, but if that's what they want...
@@DALLASKLAHR26 I watched it and it was cool. That's reason enough. Wasn't aware they need your permission or needed to measure up to your usefulness standard.
@@buttercatz99Sort of like how some don't care if food is seasoned or cook well as long as there is a lot of it while others want a gourmet meal. ALL about taste and as long as no one here us paying fir it, why the criticsm.? SOUNDS like the inferiority complex of bitter jealousy.😅😅😅😅😅😅
Ok, when I started watching this I thought "wtf is wrong with that waterfall? It's beautiful!" Then I saw the replacement, and I'll just shut up now.
I thought the other was nice . But the new was an upgrade
Hmm, both are nice, just different looks. The first being within what the home owner wanted to pay. The second, clearly a significant upgrade using larger stone and all that work to gain access. The poor guys on the first fall had to carry all that in by hand because the homeowner at the time likely didn't want to pay. See a theme here around the cheap ass homeowner??
@blaircox1589 The saying is " it is a POOR CRAFTSMAN who blames his tools. The layout was crude and terrible. Your work? Own it, and stop blaming price fir a bad workmanship.
I think you might have just been channeling yourself. The first had no meandering or levels, just a rock lined alleyway or rock chute to the bottom. Very amateurish and mammy made..unfortunately not everything ugly is cheap and in the right hands, a SKILLED BUILDER can do wonders with less.
Everything else said sounds defensive like you were the first builder ( if you were upgrade your craft and do better) The design was basic the first time and straight FUGLY.
My son could have built better as a 2nd grader. You have no idea what the homeowner was like or what he thought..his entire property including landscaping looks beautiful so it is doubtful you are correct.
I thought the first one was a hot mess. Just a rock alley to the bottom: somebody going around with a pick ax, shovel and wheelbarrow claiming they are great waterfall builders. Reminds me if a man upon learning I was great cook and foodie, decided to prepare me a meal. Boiled rice with Campbell's chunky soup poured over it...flags so red they were bleeding.
That's some of the best free work I've seen in a long time
At first I was like, "What's wrong with the old waterfall?" But seeing it in comparison with the new one, it's obvious. The old one was like someone just piled a mound of rocks against the side of the hill. No artistry. The new one looks incredibly natural and less-cluttered.
Beautifully designed
executed well👍🏽
Its like seeing one of those premade waterfall things you place on a desk compared to something you come across hiking in Colorado. No comparison, how they're even related, Idk.
Great job.
The layout is pretty haphazard and uninspired on the old one. Its like they just put the stones down randomly.
The beginning of this video it’s truly what it means to be an artist when you said . Your not paying for the materials your paying for the Experience of knowing how to do it.
I had a similar experience with the owner of a car mechanic business . He redid my entire brake system on my car in return for me painting a brand new business sign above his garage. After he completed the work on my car . He came out and looked at his new sign. He said ya know it just doesn’t seem fair. I put a lot of time and money into your brake system , but your just using paint brushes and paint. I looked down from the ladder and said , your not paying for the paints or the brushes , you paying for my experience on how to use them. He paused and said yeah your right I didn’t see it that way . We both were very happy with the trade.
I'm having issues with the website. I'm typing in nocharge but it's not free 😵😩😂🤣
There is an art to placing rocks correctly so as to look natural, you've either got it or you don't.
I'm a designer and when drawing one of the most basic and important rules to make landscapes and nature drawings overall look real is to look at a reference photo, and keep 70% of the time looking at the photo details until you're very experienced and can draw most out of memory and even then reference is key, so why aren't waterfall "artists" doing such a simple thing to make their work look better and more realistic?
Your BACKGROUND music is as fantastic as your work.Beautiful.❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌
Hey Jaak, I didnt catch that coupon code for the free waterfall. Do you mind dropping it in the description. Thanks!
Jack, This is probably my favorite video yet. If I could have hit like a thousand times I would have! Unbelievably stunning. I wish you guys did work in Alabama. Geeze!
“I’m even considering paying for it”
I am taken aback by how awesome your new version is compared to the earlier version. I'm learning alot from your videos as I try to build my waterfall in my back yard. Thank you so much for posting these videos, you're a lifesaver!!
It is a huge improvement but not something most people can aspire to including me. To say nothing of the fact that I don't even have a slope!
This was another masterpiece from one of the best. Great job
Your doing a great job ...wonderfully ..I feel relaxing when I set it....
Love your “real talk” break out session. 😂
Looks great...Well done...I really liked your boulder placement. But as a former (retired) landscaper/waterfall builder, was wondering why you went closer to the house than away from it? Unless that was mandated by the owner, I think I would have branched out/split the water course and went further down the rock wall To the right (facing it) and had another complete fall... After all, when it comes to the sound of falling water, is not more better? just a thought.
We did what the customer asked us to. I can see what you're saying, but the customer gets what they want 😃
I must admit, the newer version looks much better, BUT, we don't know the full story of the previous contractor. Maybe he was on a tight budget from the owner, maybe this maybe that...Just having a waterfall is such a piece of tranquility...Thanks, less is more in this case...
Very good points, Ismail. Thanks for your feedback.
The new version is definitely more beautiful but I'd never have changed the original. I like it too. Albeit kinda does look like a pile of rocks. Some people come over and see my 120 gallon reef tank and are in awe. But I still love my boys 10 gallon tank with nothing but Java fern and gold fish in it just as much.
Yup, it's all in the eyes of the beholder :D
2:17 - Before
13:22 - After
It's imperative that Before & After pictures are from the same angle with reference points.
You're welcome, Jaak!
Looks amazing, If I win the Lotto . I will defo have you build mine
Great video Jaak! I’m curious how you outfitted the intake bay, if it’s modifying the liner and hole or some other way? 😂 subscribing and notifications actually are free... lol! Your customer has a good sense of humor.
We modified the liner to accommodate the Aquablox and pump vault👍 Great Question!
Awesome as usual but I would love to see more detail / thought process .
How does it look now? These waterfalls always look great just after installation, but how about 3 years later? After the ground settles, boulders shifted, seals break?
Hey Benny, we have a few "follow up" videos from some projects we've been on that show what they look like a few years after. :)
If they let you build the pond, why not call you again to build the waterfall? Lol sounds like they were trying to save money. But in the end it ended up costing them.
the original was excellent before it was deemed unacceptable by Altlantis.
The owner wanted to upgrade.
Fantastic job Jaak and team! Now that is a water fall that I could look at every day and enjoy.
I hated that old waterfall on sight... It looked like someone had turned up and dumped a huge pile of rocks and then just wandered off lol. The new one is stunning 😍. It's tranquil and exciting at the same time... And what a beautiful property too 😀
Always remember righty tighty, unless you’re building a pond.
Now that was magic, you guys are EcoNinjas 👌🏽. I'm in Rwanda and I wish I could use your "free" services and just cover your air tickets and accommodation 🤗
Can you spend more time at the end of your videos showing all the detail that you’ve put into each waterfall/pond? So much time spent showing the process and then 10 seconds of quick panning distance shots of
the finished product. No explanations needed, just some close up shots of the falls, weirs etc once the work is done.
This is so beautiful. I couldn't get those large rocks into my garden because of access problems.
The water fall doesn’t look to bad,😂
Nature Creators,,,Awesome Job,,,well done
Such an incredible video. You are so talented
Outstanding work !!…..really impressive
Thank you, Scott!
Free that's for me!!! Thanks Jaak you are a great guy! What a night & day difference. Beautiful. You & your crew are nature's artists.
Cool 🏆
Crazy downpours and that hillside! You and your team are artists! Very cool!!!
definitely earned my subscription....Happy maker, Happy owner and absolutely happy viewer.....
EPIC transformation y'all 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Stunning! I want to have coffee overlooking that serene setting every morning.
You and me both!
Absolutely gorgeous!!! Far from the other eyesore!!! Would love a free waterfall but we’d probably end up with something like the one you guys tore out if we really got one for free. 😖🙃
For each tier of the waterfall, how do you make it splash (what is done to make this happen) into what seems like a mini pool of water before flowing down to the next waterfall tier?
Ha ha love the intro!!
You can bring that water fall right over here to my crib! Dam... id give my left testicle
for the first one. The second one was beautiful also! I guess I'm not too picky! Ah hell! I think I'm tasteless! Lol!
Why don't you add what he paid vs what the price of that waterfall would cost. Sure I would LOVE a Ferrari, but I bought a cheaper car. So Now I should complain?
great talk in the beginning. appreciate that. great work!
You want big rocks I’m your guy. I specialize in big boulders.... I wholesale red granite moss rock boulders.....
Love❤ your work . I wish you are close to spokane wa.
Thank you, Harry!
They both look great. The newest one I think looks somewhat better because it's not so high coming down. How much does something like this cost?
Thank you, glad you like them! You can check pricing here atlantiswatergardens.com/pricing/
You're a long way from my house. Currently, I can't do this now. Hoping next year or so. I live in MO.
@@marciabyers4502 We travel :D Keep that in mind when you're ready.
Looks good....but...
Would look better if you would show more of the finished waterfall. Why don’t you show it from top to bottom in one shot? Don’t show it in bits and pieces.
Your Go pro is way better quality anyways. Also did you seam the EPDM on the falls or just overlap it?
My suggestion for lowering the boulders down (or up) a steep slope: use an electric winch (securing it to one of the trees).
Hi love the video's is there any chance you can do a in-depth information video on how u set the stone/rocks/bolders how u go from inside the fall to the outside without losing water
