Nick is the real deal, My wife and I are the living proof, I had this crazy idea of building a poundless waterfall in our back yard, we live near Montreal and this type of built is not that popular around, finding help in the region was not easy so we decided to go for a DIY we found multiple videos on YT tried multiple contacts with some well known builders who post every week on YT for a kind of long distance help and consultation eater I receive no response or had some kind of cold conversation one was interested but to busy , The only person who responded with enthusiasm was the King , we exchange multiple texts and emails before and along the built and we made a 100 feet waterfall starting from scratch... If it was'nt for Nick I dont know were we'd be now, he responded to all my panic attack questions and I had a lot...I can go along for long time talking about this guy for sure Nick as a bolder as a heart not for the hardness but for the SIZE of it!!!
Thank you so much for the kind words! You had and have a great vision! It was a pleasure to help you bring it to life in whatever way I could. Keep making memories by it my friend!
we had pond king water gardens build a pond, this water, fall in our backyard, we actually met them in Farmington, and picked out the boulders that we wanted, they did an excellent job, the sound is incredible. when you are outside looking at the waterfall, the sound on the left is definitely a different pitch then the sound on the right. I focus much more on that element because of my vision disability, they definitely took that disability into account when designing the waterfall effect. I want to thank nick and the guys for doing an excellent job and very much recommend them. 17:08
GREAT video! Easy to follow instructions with your professional tips that include the WHY of what you are doing. Your team were all amazing to work with. And fun too! Thanks again, Nick.
A secondary comment, I suggested to them that the number of views one go up dramatically if they did the projects shirtless, one guy said that his wife has suggested the same thing several times.!! 17:08
I loved your video! You showed all the steps very well, except I was still confused about the coverage of the aquablocks. So you only put large gravel on top of them? Also does the kit have the two large sheest of pond liner or did you have to bring the second one? I recently ordered the same kit but it has not arrived yet. I'm really excited about getting started, but don't have any help. Fifteen years ago I made a pondless waterfall, but there was not a kit available at the time.
Glad you liked it! The kit should have a basin liner & a waterfall liner. We like to use a mixture of 1-1/2" gravel for covering the aquablocks mainly. Also mixing in some other larger sizes like 2"-6". Then you could find some natural elements like a log of you wanted to work in the if you wanted to disguise it more. Check out more of our videos if you're looking for inspiration or other examples of the install. Let us know if you have questions!
Apart from taking in the pump for the winter, what mailntnance does this installation need? Does the water need to be evacuated for winter? (We get frost and snow.) Does the water need cleaning? My dog will drink the water - anything to think about there? Thx
Always leave the water in the Pond or pondless and be sure to pull the pump out and store it somewhere it won't freeze. Here's a video we put together showing how we like to shut down the features. Our ponds all get a floating heater and aerator to keep a hole in the ice and this allows the fish to stay in the pond as well. The only thing we see is a mink that may find that hole and kill fish that way. ua-cam.com/video/uYPjSNYvFvk/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared

@@PondKingWaterGardensMN Super helpful, thank you so much. 🙏🏼
😊
👋
What size pump did you use
Aquascape 2,000 gallon per hour
How many watts is the pump ?
I believe it's an aquascape 2000 gallon per hour pump which is an aqua surge and that should be 160 Watts if I'm not mistaken
@@PondKingWaterGardensMN thx
