Really nicely done... Only thing missing is a demo and before you say 'Oh, my playing's not adequate...' I think you play quite well and I don't hear/see enough of you piloting one of your great axes.
    So thanx and... cheers

Great stuff as ever, I like your presentation Bob, and am pleased it wasn't an hour of riffing and twiddling. A detailed verdict is all I need, I know what a blues driver sounds like. Good job.

Hi Bob. Could you tell the world whether or not this particular model includes everything bundled into my current unit (the ME-80)? That unit is designed specifically to combine all the essentials of the Boss pedal line (and just so just happen to run on battery power). Cosmetically and aerodynamically, that unit is built to put everything at your fingertips, where as this one appears to have several layers of menu driving with hidden assets, making it more like a Line 6 Pod or Helix.
Soon as you mentioned the Metal Zone, the first thing that popped in my head is my main venture through this year, to use the Metal Zone simulator in my ME-80 (with the gain scaled way back) to loosely emulate the Tom Scholz guitar sound. I might even have mentioned that in other videos that you guys have uploaded. In many ways, it is a better move to loosely emulate the Boston sound than getting the Rockman - if one was ever interested in emulating that tone.
Forget the looper. They’re making it so that people forget how to play well with others.

Thank you Bob for the review.I am very technically challenged but my son basically picked the Boss GT-1.I have always been a fan of Boss/Roland products so for $200.00 and my Fender Blues Junior IV I find something new everytime I use it with my Les Paul Studio with "Pro Buckers" or my Les Paul Double Cut Jr.
with "P90s" I am quite satisfied .Then I can go ( which I play mostly) my acoustic arsenal which I should never get bored. If I quit the addiction of always looking for something new I would hone my skills better.I enjoy your channel very much so thank you for always keeping it interesting.
    Be Well, God Bless...

I was hoping to get a playing demo from you. I like what you’re adding to the channel.

Multi effects , switchers etc are over the top for my needs but it's great to hear an honest recommendation rather than a load of bullshit followed by a pointless demo, as some seem to enjoy. Cheers Bob 👍

Sure, I think I can email them to you if you send me your address? Never tried it before, but I think I can save them as a file which can be mailed....

Absolutely agree, one other point to mention is it can run effects in parallel, I.e. side chain, the G2 (Gigrig) cannot do this, the M3 is an amazing unit for sure.
    Great review.
