I can't take my eyes off your cocoa bar! That is beautiful.
What a beautiful job you did teaching. No loud music, easy to understand and follow. Merry Christmas.
Thanks so much for that, it is hard to get the right balance and so your words are very welcome ❤️ and a very Merry Christmas to you and your family too 🌲❤️❤️❤️🌲
I like the look of the bells. For me I would put a little hot glue with the other glue to hold the rope on the top around the holes. But I won't tie the rope off until I have the bell completely painted. Then glue the bow on and then tie the rope so I could work the rope in-between the bow. Because I usually get a little messy with glue. Lol don't want to get glue on top of the bow. You did a nice job making theses bells. 👍💗
Yes, there are lots of ways to finish them off, it all depends on whether you are hanging them or having them as standing decor.
I'm headed to my Dollar Tree for all these supplies. Thank you for a clear tutorial.
Oh your bells are amazing!!! You are an excellent teacher and your calm demeanor and precise instructions equals a successful beautiful bell!! Thank you!! Thank you!!
Thanks so much for that, now is the perfect time to start thinking about Holiday crafting, no sudden rush to find supplies 🎄🎄🎄
New Subbie here! Just amazing!!
So glad you liked them, be sure to have notifications set to on as I have the 2020 version coming very soon, and this time it's a technique to make them look like rusty metal ❤️
Phenomenal!! These bells are perfect and I love the white one.. I might be able to do the white one but the galvanized would be a challenge.. Thank you for these beautiful diy bells.. 🎄🤗🎀
Thanks so much for those comments, and a very Merry Christmas to you 🎄🎄🎄🎄
These are darling! Your hot cocoa bar is wonderful ♥
Hey Katie! Your galvanized bells were outstanding and I am looking forward to making all sizes Plus maybe trying to work it on other shapes of metal.
I first saw the video with the white bells, LOVE them! And now saw the galvanized version, just terrific and so creative. Thanx for your thorough instructions. Nicely done!
Oh thanks so much for that ❤️ I'm thinking of rusty bells for the next variation 🌲❤️🌲
They are so wonderful! I thought I loved the white ones but now I love these as much! Brilliant
Thanks so much for that ❤️ I have the white ones on my mantle and now I have to find a place for these 😃❤️🌲❤️
Going to try this. I'm going to try the hammered galvanized spray paint.
Great! I tried that paint but it needed a little more dimension for me that's why I messed around and came up with the sponging method 🤣❤️🎈
I thought someone stole yiur idea when I seen the thumbnail lol. Then I quickly figured out it was you! I made a set of these! Thanks so much for the ideas! They are stunning
Ahh thanks, I wanted to give people another idea on how to make these fit with other styles of decorating, and I'll always be the original bell lady! LOL
I did see someone on Instagram trying to pass this off as their own idea! Yours looks WAY better! 😍
@@poguemom3 You know there is another UA-camr with way more subscribers than me that tried to pass them off as their own idea too, it's sad that even if they can't remember my name they could at least say "I was inspired by something I saw on YT/FB/Insta/Pinterest" instead of taking the credit for themselves.
Are the bowls plastic?
LOVE these, you are a very talented lady working all of this out and so kind of you to share you ideas with us. Love the new galvanised look and the greenery adds to the overall effect. Also wonderful to see a fellow Brit come up with something completely unique, give your self a pat on the back for that hun.
Thanks again. cuddles from UK.

Will just check their sales but we are all strapped and do what we can. Thank you for sharing. I love your white bells and will be going to check on them too. Can't have too many bells now can we? 🤪🥰

So glad you liked them, it is one of those techniques that when doing you think "these will never look right", but you keep on and get there eventually 😃 I think the next version will be rusty bells. I wish you a very Merry Christmas too 🌲❤️🌲❤️
@@CreateandCraftwithKatie oh yes!!! I think a rusty version would be fabulous to see/do also!!! 😊❤🍒

Que cosas tan lindas haces, y lo haces parecer tan sencillo de hacer. ¡Gracias por compartir!
I would really love if you could add a pdf of the template for the bell holes. That would be most excellent for all the different size bowls. Thank you.
Of course, here is the link to my Facebook page where the template is available ❤️ facebook.com/Create-and-Craft-with-Katie-107054790776530/
You are amazing! Merry Christmas! 🎄

So glad you liked them, I have a "rusty metal" version coming up soon so be sure to look for it.
I love them!!! ♥️♥️♥️
So glad you do, they were fun to make once I'd worked out how to make them! LOL
Those are so cute. I look at some gold ones every-time I go to Walmart. I will be doing this for sure. Just curious, is that a Texas map on the back cup-towel on your oven?
Glad you liked them, and yes it's a Texas towel, I got it at HomeGoods ❤️
Perfect
Love it
Just found you! New sub here
Maybe I missed it, but are there templates for the black "holes"? Thanks.
There isn't a template as such but in the 2018 original bells video I show them closer to the camera, I think. But really they are just a circle with a wide stick shape that is rounded at the end. I just adjusted them for the size of the bowls I used. I hope that helped a little.
Too cute!!!
Thanks!
You could tracr around a round measuring spoon formthe cardboard template.
what is the size of the bowl separately?
I know I'm late to the party, and I was so excited to make these bells - but the dollar store doesn't sell the bowls anymore! It's not as easy as you would think to find them elsewhere:(
You can still order them in bulk, I bought two cases. But as an alternate, you can get a set of 5 nesting bowls at Target that I like even better. Yes you have to buy 2 sets for the project, but you end up with 5 bells for less than $30.

@Create and Craft with Katie where/how did you order in bulk? That would work for me! I went to the dollar tree website and couldn't find them.
@@janelloyd4268 I just checked and you are correct, the SKU was 206657 and now it's not showing, I ordered only a couple of months ago after not finding them in store. I wish they'd bring them back
@@CreateandCraftwithKatie thanks so much for checking!
👍
late to the party, but why not cut the slots in the bell?
Because of the plastic, it is hard and cracks very easily, I tried many different tools and could not do it without the holes cracking
Very nice finished project however your camera is too far away to see you demonstrate and also the suggestions and could wait until the end the instructions are the most important thing and you can time your video and tell people where to go if they need to know tips and tricks such as keeping them outside etc.
I love your creations, however, the camera is too far away to get much from your video :(
