I'm literally crying through this whole video. See, I had a deal with my grandpa that if I learned to play his violin, I could have it. I used it to learn all of these songs and had to do a little work on It as well, like replace the bridge, adjustment screws, repair the base, the strings, and re- string the bow. With no money as we lived on the government. I did learn all these songs. When my grandfather died, I didn't get the violin. His son trumped my claim. Just yesterday, my 3rd niece came to visit due to a passing, and everyone put me on the spot to play this 4 year old's violin. I did all of 15 notes and quit. It's also been 35 years since ive even touched one. It was horrible, horrible in the fact that all my family knows my pain and anger, yet I just wanted to make my grandfather proud enough to get something that reminds me of him the most. I almost made an Amazon purchase because of this. But I don't know!??!!.....
@christinali5357 well, a little love to this story! I decided to remind myself that the violin is just an object. The memories are what I hold dear to my heart. So I bought a cheap $100 violin off Amazon 10 days ago and am back to screeching again. My sausage fingers don't bend like they use to. Lol.
For the bow to be straight pay attention to the elbow action, please notice how only the forearm moves ant the arm remains Still. Hope this helps and happy playin.

Sure he is skilled in what is doing, but after testing my teacher violin I understand there is so much difference btw different violins, potentially easing much your work in getting out a decent sound (learning it's not an option of course)
In the international version of the Suzuki book they list all titles in English, French, German and Spanish. In English they list it as Twinkle Twinkle Little star, but in French they give the name you use. However, the song is provided as a learning tool and the precise name is not the most important thing.... Many thanks to Cantabile for posting this, It is by far the best of the many posting of the Suzuki songs.
