    Calvin, you are so correct. I have met many, (lots of many) Filipinas on a couple of dating sites. Here's my advice to any man who is seriously looking. Do this: Be as kind, considerate, and as absolutely honest as you can be. Do that and don't be surprised if the Filipina you're chatting with spills her guts to you. She is PRAYING to find a good man. Find someone you like. Never send money. Use WhatsApp and "see" her everyday. Love her. No bullshit love. Love her!!! And you will be blessed.

    "Two side from the same coin" excellent observation. We all make choices based on our own situation. Wanting a better life is not a sin for either people. Men don't like to hear that the security you bring to a relationship is what gets you into the game. It doesn't mean that they will never love you but that may only come later if you are a good man and she is a good women. Merry Christmas Calvin!

    Very touching, and moving subject that you're speaking on. Sometimes here in the U.S. we forget or lose sight of just how difficult life is for many people daily in the Philippines. Actually for most of us, it's something that we can't wrap our brains around without seeing and experiencing it up close. Mr Calvin, I sincerely appreciate the compassion and sympathy that you always display for the Filipino people. Hopefully through some of your vlogs, possibly some foreign expats will think twice before hurting and carelessly breaking a loving hearted filipina that is only seeking for a better quality in life in a serious relationship.

    Through two deaths (funerals), three serious hospital stays in a system where if you can’t pay you die, I told my girlfriend I don’t know what her and her family would have done had she not met me. But here’s the thing: God has a way of bringing the right people together at the right time. My girlfriend and her family are good honest people that would have inspired me to help them even if we were not involved. What are the odds of her meeting someone who could handle something like this and willingly do so?

    Calvin no one can dispute what you said about desperation from all perspectives. That is likely the case in a great majority of cases. Hell yes, I am desperate, sexually frustrated, lonely, all that bad shit. I think though, that even with that desperation, I would have a guilty conscience about chatting with Filipinas on these sites because I think it would be deceptive and creating false hope on either side. Especially in the case of a foreigner who cannot even travel to the country in the near future.

    Man you knocked this one out of the park! In American women desperation kicks in around 30-40. When they hit that wall or want kids or a ring and running out of time. And that’s just biological that’s not financial. They can take care of themselves if they have to. But we get a small glimpse of what desperation looks like when the impossible high standards girl suddenly marries the first average guy she can find after 30. How much more desperate is a broke filipina wanting a better life.
    It blows our minds that a young beautiful woman 22-25 might be desperate already. We can’t even imagine it. But she knows 25 isn’t that far away from 30. And while 30 year old Filipinas are great she knows her odds go down tremendously with age.

    If you do a proper vetting of the girl and the family you won't have any surprises. Take your time.
    Look for sick family members, poor family, hidden children, hidden marriages, her own medical issues, her mental issues, etc.
    I decided that if I couldn't find a good girl then I would change my plans. I would look for a friend with benefits or maybe a discrete professional.
    Fortunately I found a good one, after a long search.
    Don't give up and don't settle for less than your expectations. You are in control. You are the prize.

    The role of us western men is to provide money, provision and support. That's what we're valued for. We're walking ATM's. The attractive Filipinas that make it to the western world against all the odds that I have seen and know personally have all ended up with high earning and/or wealthy men. The more attractive the woman the higher earning man she has been able to command. Wont give the below average to average guy a chance then which is why such a man having seen her behavior in the western world travels to her home country to find the abundance that she is able to find in his home country. Only difference is she is EARNING money by coming to the west and the man is SPENDING money by doing so. Not only can she earn more money herself coming to the western world but she then also has a mans money as well vs us men that travel to her country only having our own money which we then have to halve in order to support her, her family, her kids etc. No wonder we are treated so well in Thailand and The Philippines! Last time I checked no Filipina here in Australia is taking me out, paying for me, providing me with provision, support etc. Never happened despite me hanging out in the community for years now. Wont ever happen. These young women's phones are blowing up with incoming messages from men offering them money, support, everything.
    When I went to Thailand instead of hooking up with wealthy older people I hooked up with young and attractive people that I wouldn't and never had a chance with back home in the western world. It's all just so obvious now how each gender values the other. Men go for youth and beauty. Women go for money, resources, status and wealth. These relationships are a trade. The woman is trading her youth and beauty and the man is trading his wealth and resources.
    Notice how we never see young, attractive women trading their resources for older men?
    We never see women paying for men.
    We never see a Filipina travel to the western world, buy a house on land for a western man then get kicked to the curb and end up back in her home country with nothing. Never happens.
    When you see the world and each gender for how they are, by the actions they take and not what they say you can detach yourself from the whole thing. That's true freedom.
    If I travel to the Philippines and get into a relationship it will be about me providing wealth, resources and support. Same thing as in my home country unless I say no and refuse to deal on those terms. That leaves only 1 real option - paid sex. That's much cheaper in the long run I might add and much less risky as well.

    Now I have first hand knowledge of this from friends to family including attempted murder of my son by a bar girls Filipino boyfriend but plain logic will tell you. Every bar girl has been raped, sexually abused even turned out by their own family to prostitute. Now what kind of mental problems do you think these girls carry behind those sweet smiles? A boat load and they will come out and show themselves sooner or later and the damage to you, your bank account even your children will be catastrophic.
    Prostitution is no joke in the destruction of these many times under age girls.

Interpersonaly, I don't believe either party has to sale their soul. There can be risk, but most worthwhile things involve risk. If two people want the same things, and are mutually beneficial to one another, I think that's beautiful. I haven't found that yet, but I still have hope. The new generation there is hope but still there are so many problems that it seems when you come from a more industrialized or forward-thinking country you have to go back 10 or 15 years in thinking and that's probably just based on cultural differences but I don't know if I will plan to keep roots there as much as my wife would like. Merry Christmas sir. Would would please share, where you recorded this video? I have been in an on again, off again relationship with a wonderful Pilipino for 15 years. I have traveled to Cebu and Leyte. I can not see myself living in either of those places. It is my goal to finally make the move there in the next 4 months. I would like to try the Dumaguete area. How ever when I search the area on Google earth I see the same depressed neighborhoods. The area in this video seams to show houses that look to be in a nice area. Any help is appreciated.

    I have to disagree with Sunshine Shoulders on this one. It's not desperation that puts a Filipina into a bar. It's her hypergamy. She chooses to use sex as trade a natural currency to do an upgrade. Very different reasons. Most girls chose NOT to sell sex even if they are poor. That's a fact! Look, it's OK to have bargirls to be your companion to have fun but do not excuse them like he does or you will get disappointed down the road. Character and personal accountability maters at all level of society. From the poorest to the richest when it comes to marriage.

      @pauls4742 2 роки тому

      You're partially correct - "Most girls chose NOT to sell sex even if they are poor." But you're incorrect in thinking that it's hypergamy. It's poverty and desperation in many cases and not a lot of options, sometimes even the family encourages them into prostitution to get money. I agree that character and personal accountability matter and that's why you have to be careful about bargirls. Unfortunately, they're ruined and they know it.

    • @nandorblue
      @nandorblue 2 роки тому +1

      @@pauls4742 It's hypergamy. By our western standards most Filipinos are born into and live in poverty. That's how they lived for centuries and millennia. They perfectly adopted to the lifestyle and can cope with it. They are skilled survivalist and also relying on resources from the community , friends and relatives. They do have a choice and do not have to do prostitution and most of them chose not to. There are exceptions ofc and forced prostitution by family but will not change the reality. I'm not judging them I'm just saying that in most cases it is hypergamy to upgrade her life using sex and companion as a bargirl to trade for resources and possible commitment and provisioning from men.

    Two sides to the same coin but what about the story in the middle. The story that you've written is found not only in the Philippines but in any "developing country". Calvin let us not forget that the USA is a welfare state and if it wasn't it would be no different than the Philippines. We do have young women who live in desperation and will also sell their soul to the guy you have described, the pervert. Calvin, the picture painted is true but lets remember this happens throughout the world. I do understand what you see being "boots on the ground" and one can appreciate the facts......job well done. In closing, 🍺🍺🍺🍺its still open, congratulations on your new home and how your lover appreciates what you've done for her, her elevation.....
