What’s the TV show Breaking Bad about?
Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher, is diagnosed with lung cancer. He decides to make and sell methamphetamine to repay his medical debts and secure his family’s future.
Season 3 of Breaking Bad:
Gus (Giancarlo Esposito) offers Walter a job cooking meth at a hidden lab. Walter demands Jesse (Aaron Paul) to be his assistant rather than Gus' choice of Gale. Skyler (Anna Gunn) learns of Walter's meth-cooking and demands a divorce. Hank's (Dean Norris) investigation leads him to Jesse, but he finds no evidence and assaults Jesse, forcing him into a short leave. Hank is forewarned about an attack from two assassins and kills them, but he becomes paralyzed in the aftermath. Jesse's behavior becomes erratic, and Gus replaces him with Gale (David Costabile). Later, Walter fears Gus will kill him and Jesse once Gale learns enough about their methods, and instructs Jesse to kill Gale.

one word. Monetization.
Monetization on content that isn't even theirs. It's a sad statement on the state of UA-cam when a channel can rip a 4 minute clip from a show they don't own, tack on 4 beeps, some captions, and a watermark and make money off of it

Jesse said his life turned to shit after teaming up with Walter. Before Walter, Jesse was Captain Cook and had his lab raided by the DEA and was likely to be either killed by Emilio or overdose. His life wasn’t exactly headed in the right direction anyways.
Walt used Jesse as a human shield to keep the heat off himself
All that and he still considers all that’d happened between humans Walt to be his complete and utter downfall.
Jesse is the epitome of a spoiled white suburban kid. Comes from a great family, nice neighborhood etc but then the way he behaves you would think he came from the complete opposite of that
He would've suffered less if he just died that earlier.
@@justaboredguydoingrandomst3640 probably but in the end Jesse goes on to live a peaceful life in Alaska. Without teaming up with Walter, he would have never had the cash to make that happen.

If Jesse would have gone through with pressing charges Hank would have lost his job therefore not being able to investigate the Heisenberg case any further.
Someone would have been investigating it after Hank left though. It just would’ve given Walt more time to make money.
@@tankdogization and maybe even saved hanks life though 🧐
@Kira Yeah if Hank would have been fired, he wouldn't knew about Gale and the notes, so Gale's book wouldn't make any sense for him.
@@tankdogization Hank is the only person who believed Heisenberg is still operating. Without Hank, it's doubtful that Heisenberg could be caught before Walt dies or retires, which he almost done successfully in season 5
These were things Jesse needed to say and Walt needed to hear. Walt's ego was still growing and taking over everything. But what's interesting is that Jesse was wrong that Walt didn't care. Walt saved his ass so many times. But Everytime Walt did it def favored Walt. The complexity of these characters and the story were just so well done!
People seem to think an act must be either completely selfish or selfless. It can be a mixture of selfish concern and concern for Jesse at once
@@theozlander4629 Bullshit, Walter is a selfish douchebag, treated Jesse shit almost the whole time, except few good moment that only lasted for a couple of minutes at most, bruh literally the only reason they started working together is because Walter blackmailed Jesse into it in episode 1
Not running over the two goons that killed the kid. Walt got completely fucked for a bit after that
The cardinal difference between Jesse and Walt is that on the surface Jesse was a bad person, but underneath was inherently good. In contrast, Walt on the surface appeared to be good, but underneath was inherently bad.
This dichotomy formed the entire basis for their love/hate relationship throughout the series, and on an esoteric level, was a clever comment on how we all judge other people that we come across in society throughout our lives.
If we met someone like Jesse; a tin pot meth dealing wannabe who comes from a broken home with a criminal background we would assume he is a terrible person unworthy of our time. Whereas if we met someone like Walt; a middle class family man who is a homeowner and works as a high school chemistry teacher, we would assume he is a morally sound person who would be a positive influence if brought into our life.
We would be dead wrong on both counts, which is why as we go through life we should not judge a book by it's cover, but rather by the content of it's pages.
@@leenb7560 Uh, fairly sure everyone is aware it’s not real life. When people like a series they discuss it by offering their opinions and thoughts about it. It’s a completely normal thing to do. Are you off your medication or something? 😳
@@leenb7560 Just fine, thanks. Not interested in letting you highjack the thread though, so unless you’d like to discuss something about the scene in the video, then this is where I say goodbye. 👋
Thats not very smart. Judging people is still a necessary thing to do, but also giving people the benefit of the doubt. If I see a hooded man walking very suspiciously into a corner store and looking around frantically, judging him could very well be the difference between life and death.
What was kinda interesting to me about this scene is at first when I heard Walt say the line "Your meth is good Jesse, just as good as mine" I thought Walt was merely just manipulating Jesse again. However in a later episode when Jesse cooks a batch on his own for the cartel and its tested, its purity is pretty damn close to Walts, so it wasn't just manipulation. It was actually a genuinly true statement from Walt.
It’s because walt is happy he actually gets to teach jesse something, his teacher side is happy that the delinquent student learned from him. You can see how proud he is in the last episode of the series
@@mysticalgamer9368 moral of the story? You better pay attention in class or the neo nazis will get ya! XD
@@karlmeaner2624 chill out bruh I’m just pointing out walt’s emotion
@@mysticalgamer9368 I know. Just teasing
Absolutely not. People want to believe it was genuine because they became emotionally attached to Walt throughout their journey watching the show, but it's not. If you remove yourself emotionally from being a viewer of the show, you can then clearly see that Walt is nothing but a narcissistic sociopath.
He is not being genuine here at all. It's purely false praise given due to Walt knowing Jesse on some level wants to believe there is good in people and the world in hopes that he will aid him in getting what he wants. That's who he is. It's who he always was. Becoming a meth kingpin just brought it out in full view. Kind of the entire point of the show.
Aaron pauls acting is so amazing.
this is outstanding acting
Imagine censoring “screw you” in a video about meth dealers
Things Walt did that only afected Jesse up to this point:
Kept a corpse in Jesse's house
Killed k8 in Jesse's house
Got Jesse kicked out from his own house
Got Jesse's friend, Combo, killed
Let Jane die
Let Hank beat the crap out of Jesse
It’s only because Jesse didn’t apply himself enough.
Honestly jane dying affected Jesse in a positive way. He loved her but she would have eventually killed him like she killed herself with overdosing.
Created a chain reaction that leads to Andrea's death via an address
Jesse was Right Here
If he leave Walt in that moment maybe he would be fine right now
Two minutes later:
Walter: Wanna be my assistant?
Jesse: Ok
This is the moment Jesse became Captain Cook.
That last line was what made Jesse soften up for Walt again🤣
Walt's last line may have been manipulative, but there was some truth regardless if Walt meant it or not. Jesse's meth was indeed that good.
Jesse says one thing here that is unequivically untrue to Walt. He says Walt doesn't care about him.
But Walt goes on to bend over backwards to save Jesse's life multiple times. He cares about Jesse as much as Hank. Jesse, "is like family."
It’s a very toxic relationship ultimately, but there is definitely love between the two.
Whatever shred of care he has for Jesse is dwarfed by the amount of care he has for himself and his personal agenda. Walt proves this over and over throughout the series. People just want to believe otherwise because they became emotionally invested in Walt from watching the show. Does he care about his family and even Jesse on some level? Yes. But that level is nowhere near how much he cares about himself and his own personal standing.
Idk about as much as Hank. He was willing to kill Jesse when it came down to it which he wouldn't do to Hank.
This is the moment where Walt Jr became Captain Thanosberg of Wakanda
Leader of the asguardians of the galaxy
Jesse tore into Walt saying he ruined his life before he knew that Walt let Jane die.
Walter really should have killed Jesse here. This was the moment he should have realised that Jesse was too volatile, and unreliable; and posed the ultimate risk to his future.
"This is the moment" should be a fkn Breaking Bad Opening by now
Best show I ever watched... The last 3 episodes had my girlfriend and my hands shaking in anticipation of what was going to happen next.
This is the moment when Jesse wasn‘t feeling too well

Master Kenobi, You disappoint me.
Jesse was wrong. Walt DID care about him. He saved Jesse many times from his own bad decisions and actions, and in the end, he saved Jesse's life.
He also lied to his entire family and social circle(including Jesse) over and over and over. Walt did care about other people on some level(all criminals do), but that level of care is nothing in comparison to the amount of care he had for himself and his personal agendas. It's proven over and over throughout the series. People just choose to not acknowledge it because they became emotionally invested in Walt along the way while watching the show.
Jesse was absolutely right here.
Nah you're just fanboying over Walt bruh he is selfish and doesn't give a fuck about Jesse, he only pretends to because he needs him because as he said "he does what I say"

@@chriscothron3606 he said “branded” as in that was the word in the streets
Jesse blames Walt for ruining his life even though in this season it was his own decision to cook meth again. The only alternative to Hank beating him up was prison
Jesse ruined everything actually....he was too stupid for the operation
Walt used Jesse as a deterrence so he wouldn't have to deal with the consequences. His ideas were never brilliant, he just made sure he wasn't the one getting hurt. Just like when he first sent Jesse to peddle meth and he went to customer Krazy 8 and when he first sent Jesse to deal with Tuco.
@@evanmoreno360 Walt did meet Tuco and started to appear in dealings later on. While he's vile Jesse isn't innocent.

Since when is Screw you a bleepable word?
"screw" isn't a swear word.
Don't make a UA-cam channel if you're just gonna censor stuff.
Lol we gonna censor profanity on a show about cooking meth seems legit 🤣
What's sad about this is that Jesse was the cause of his problems not Walt. Jesse thought he was smarter than he was.
This is such a pertinent scene.
In an interview Vince Gillian said that Walter White is Hitler, he is Pol Pot. It is true, he is a black hole in human form. A destructive force of nature. Some people are the sun and Heisenberg is a black hole. People like him devour whatever comes close to them, without mercy. Perishes dozens without a hitch, mere footnotes in the legendary tale of Heisenberg.
I truly believe the reason Walt couldn’t or wouldn’t destroy Jessie is because he had that purity, that innocence that he just couldn’t touch. Somewhere deep down Walt has it to but either chooses to ignore it or just doesn’t care. I think him saving Jesse in the end is the one thing that may keep him out of hell, with a bit of luck
Lol putting a water mark over content that’s not yours 😂😂 I’m gonna report this for that alone
What a shame. This channel has so much potential, but it’s completely ruined by the censoring.
Never watched it, what did he do to him?
Hank walts brother in law beat up Jesse.
This is also a bit of foreshadowing for the final season.
Oh man that is a loaded question sweet chickens lol. this scene is about halfway through the show and Walt's brother-in-law(a DEA agent) basically beat the hell out of Jesse for something Walt did to cover their tracks. in my opinion Walter white caused a lot of people pain death and/or Suffering throughout the show but of all his victims wether intentional or not, Jesse was Walt's first, last, and saddest victim. 😭
Yes yes feel pity for Jessie as if he was a sinless Angel and place all the fault on Walt. Jessie was already selling poison to the community for personal profit long before he partnered with Walt. Jessie did stupid shit as a drug addict that made things worse.
Jessie killed people directly [Gale for example who is definitely more “innocent”compared to Jessie] and indirectly with his dealings/cooking.. Walt poisoning Brock caused irreplaceable friction
Fact of the matter is both Walt and Jessie are unsympathetic villains with conflict with each other by end of BB
@@mrharvy100 I refer you to my reply I made on your other comment on everything you say here lol. Except for that last bit of this comment you made here in actuality I would really say that at the very end of the show neither is really a villain.
