Hey Kenan, I don't know if you have thought about this, but one way to step up the natural critters is to run evening lighting. Maybe over the big rocks that line the tortoise area. That way you would introduce some bugs, then the treefrogs will come and maybe some more curlytails and anoles.
That's how I brought critters over to my pond. Yes, you will get spiders too... But their not that bad. Watching wolf spiders hunt on the water at night is pretty cool.

Simply amazing. I'm so happy for you and inspired to do better for the animals I share my home with. Eventually I'm gonna have to catch up with you at some event or another and just pick your brain on the hows and whys that you get things done (mostly the hows). I never wish for time to pass quicker than it already does, but I'm not lying... I can't wait to see what this place looks like in a year. Something else you may want to consider is another night time stroll through the Kamp to see what you have running around out there when the sun goes down.

Hey Kenan. Love the yard. Can I suggest finding a lumber mill and seeing if they will give you "slabs" that are usually discarded in the process of milling trees. They could work well for your leopard tortoise barrier. One side is flat and the other would be rounded and still have bark. If done right it could be attached to the barrier you just created but it would look like a log is holding back the hill. I've built a whole turtle enclosure in my yard using "slabs". All it cost me was the time to go pick up the free wood and the box of screws to assemble it.

With the crocodillian pond I think you can go either way. You can keep smaller species so that the rest of us can learn how to properly care for smaller species of crocodillians. You could also keep American gators or crocs and use them for a series of videos about taking care of the environment, their roles in the ecosystem, and the importance of not releasing non-native species into the wild.
However, you're also working on that conservation park/place/zoo/thing with Kyle. So you could keep the larger crocodillians there and then do a smaller and more manageble species at your home so it'd be less stress.

That’s what iv notice also with my pond when I just leave it alone the water becomes crystal clear. Don’t worry I like hearing about how your trying to fix the water. Is the front 2 ponds not fed of well water?? I really like the Jurassic park idea you must do it!!! I’ll dig the holes for you!
