I think here in the comments, we're all glad that you, your family, the animals, and the kamp made it through the storm unharmed. Even though you have a lot of hard work ahead of you, you should take time to be proud of yourself, what you've built, what you've achieved, and the great community you've built on UA-cam.
We need to get Kenan to a million subscribers . If any UA-camr deserves it it’s him, always putting out tons of awesome content, always interesting and fun to watch. Push him to one mil fam!
@@KampKenando you know if monitors are allergic to pine needles in anyway? I noticed some in your videos and im thinking of putting my monitor outside when he is larger but I'm surrounded by pine trees
OKAY, Kenan. Driveway tip. For the first 3 years we lived in the Low Country of SC, driveway into the property would flood badly each time we got any rain. So, we had to hire a front loader, and scrape out a 4 foot deep trench on both sides of the Driveway and one load of gravel and it stayed perfect for the last 15 years we lived there. I highly recomend it!!
You are a kind, compassionate human being Kenan. Today is my third year following you. I have been a member of your Patreon from time to time but life circumstances prevent me from helping you now. Hopefully I can join again in the future.
I remember watching your videos when I was 11-13years old and I’m now 19 and still love them! When u and Paul linked for the first time my mind was blown!!
So glad you and the animals are doing well! Also I like the idea of plants/hanging stuff in the Croc Monitor enclosure - more visual barriers etc and climbing stuff probably helps them be comfortable :)
Thanks Kenan. Slink's the biggest true iconic celebrity of a global caliber that I know of. I love how she comes when you call. And how her demeanor is as chill as it gets. And in that enclosure you famously built for her, I swear, she looks like a bonafide dinosaur. Her and yourcfocs are the coolest big lizards on earth (along with Sitka the Argus Monitor who likes standing up a lotq). I'm glad your facility and all your guests got through the hurricane unscathed. But then, the Kamp Kreatures don't get scathed! They ARE the scathers! lol. Oh, yeah, by the way, that hissing is one of few sounds that scare me. Totally awesome!
The kamp is coming along very nicely. I would make that jungle path you mentioned earlier in the video. That tree is beautiful. Maybe you and Tom can make a plan to plant it and maybe make a new enclosure. A new enclosure would look beautiful out there.
Glad everything and everyone is surviving the weather and love seeing all the animals. Haven't seen inky in awhile and wish she had a better enclosure so she wouldn't hide so much. With all she's been through would love to see her taming down too !! In time, I know you have a lot to contend with ! Such good changes at the camp !
I am so glad all went well for you and the animals. Also, that your plantings came through. They are worth the work. They have added so much beauty and interest. It’s always fun to visit everyone. It’s so funny to watch Marge ignore Lucifer when he tries to bite her. She’s one of my favorites. Be careful while you’re doing clean up.
I think it would be a beautiful thing when your done!!! I love what you do with these animals. I am a lizard lover....have a 20 month old Savannah monitor...she is my heart❤! I love Slinky! Where is he?😊
Pleeease please pleeease more Sleeping Slinky! I never knew it was possible to heart felt love a reptile and know that my Savannah Monitor could learn to feel and love me back till it happened...then everyone I know told me it was my imagination and that I was crazy....then I found Camp Kenan and witnessed a video with Slinky...almost freezing yo death and how you really deeply loved him and he loves you back....I cried as I watched you lay there with him trying to warm him up and save his life and what you went thru emotionally. I lost my girl two years ago this coming Jan 29...and it broke my heart and I still grieve her passing.... I have a new girl now and she is just as much in my heart as my first. So yessss...I'd love to see more of you and Slinky...God bless y'all at Camp Kenan for making me know I'm not crazy in loving my reptiles!!!
Staghorn ferns are among my favorite plants. I had tried to grow them with little success, but they say that in southern Florida they grow without effort.
He should put live cameras on the alligator pond and stream it 24/7, not sure if it would be financially worth it but would be cool to watch them sometimes.
That right there is big gains with Chase petting him like that. Oh my God that’s so beautiful. I love the work you do with the animals Kenneth. Keep up the good work man and keep being you much love from Northern Maine
Have you considered painting the blackthroat cage black? It makes the cage practically disappear, or at the very least easier to make out what is going on in the cage. People do it with chicken coops and it works a charm.
Love the idea of opening up the front area with a walk way as it might encourage Nos, Darwin And Soc’s to adventure in it more especially if you build up some different gradients for them to meander and climb over. I’m sure they wouldn’t mind wandering around any enclosures you may add in there 🤗🐢🤗
Those croc monitors are not far off slinky tame, I'd be tempted to divide slinkys enclosure into 2 as he doesn't seem to use one half and those 2 croc monitors would love all that space
You need to run some drainage pipe into the gator pond, maybe a nice French drain! Another thing to use the excavator for! 👍👍 the croc monitors are hungry!
First off, good to see that you, your family, and all of the animals at the Kamp were able to weather the storm with problems. Secondly, I was just thinking, it might be interesting to get some large, live fish and toss into Fred's lagoon for a bit of enrichment for the gators. You can buy live fish from most Asian markets with a seafood section. You'd just have to make it clear to the people there that you don't want it killed and prepared and then have something to take it back home in. But that might be something that the gators might enjoy.
A few of those "yellow belly's" are actually Florida red belly's. The really big one towards the beginning especially . They'll have a little yellow curly mustache mark and straight lines over the "ears", not the "s". I love them all, keep up the good work. ❤️
Oo omg wow that is looking better! And um you look handsome with your new hair cut and shave! Tell your wife that your fans say hi and glad you made it through a horrible time. Love to Darwin, Slinky, Turtle Fam, and Guapo, And his crew in the yard. Sorry so much work dude. From Pennsylvania , was hoping you made it ok. We all love the Kamp :)
I think you should take the concrete from the big torts and make the outside fence look like the sulcatas fence would make it more uniform - just my opinion as the big torts are my favorite especially nos
Kenan i suggest u thin out foliage of ur trees so that Heaven Forbid there is a tornado d wind will pads thru d trees. U need someone 2 help u. Ask Mr Wolf he is VERY HANDY
I watched a video of a guy who did a fantastic job on his drive with gravel and rock, I think it was going to be 30k to pave, but he did the gravel for 6k and it was larger than yours. It may have been Haxman?? Yep he posted it 1 month ago, and he has a few hacks to keep the gravel in place too.

Caymans are so awesome, they don't get the attention other reptiles do but have the coolest looking heads.
You took clean-up to the extreme. Love the face clean-up. Your place faired well.
I laughed out loud when u threw the grass on the tortoise! 😂 She was like, "rude!" And walked away lol
Marge is hilarious! Love her. Fortunately. We’ve had a few sunny days now so I hope things dry out at the Kamp!🦎🐢🐊❤️The BlackThroats hiss is amazing!
I was so worried about kamp Kenan family and animals so glad everybody’s safe ❤
So glad everyone at the Kamp is ok
I just can’t get enough of your exhibits,so extremely interesting to watch. Until the next one good day.
When Kenan first popped up on the video I thought he was a cop. Clean shaved and in black.
UA-cam is so cool. Basically gave this dude a nature show that’s done well. Heck ya man. Glad all is well
You give your animals better enclosures then most zoos!
Thank you Kenan!! I'm glad everything is OK!! Your animals are so cool!! I love Marge!! She's so crazy!! Stay safe and have a blessed week!!

Good to see the animals! That bamboo looks amazing as well!
That tractor is coming in clutch!!!!!!🎉🎉 Much needed.
Good to see there wasn’t much damage elsewhere. I remember seeing your walk around the day after. Amazing piece of paradise you have there.
Love to see the pettings with the croc monitor! Keep it up! And start petting all of those monitors!
I’m transferring my addiction from Chris in NJ to your channel. You are so cool!
hi, Kamp Kenan, good to see you and all your animals.

Hey Kenan, is there tortoise that would be ok to put in Slinky’s enclosure? There’d be so much for them to eat & that would help you too!🦎🐢❤️
It's a something worth considering!

the step repair in the croc monitor enclosure, because the storm has been so all consuming, you probably forgot but you said about it about a week ago
