I would love to see you do another attempt at CCC eel. Last time you guys had difficulty cleaning the eel. In Japan eel is very popular. I found a video where you can see the eels being cleaned and cooked. ua-cam.com/video/7685TriwPQo/v-deo.html You can skip to 8 minutes for the relevant part.

Gabe, you were steered correctly! Any "Minelab" is a good detector, the NOX is one of the best. You go to many exotic beach areas fishing... take your NOX with...hunt where folks may have sat down for a beer or to watch the sunset. You won't be disappointed! Take along a short handled sand scoop, doesn't take up much room and don't forget your charger.

After watching your videos last year I decided to deer hunt again. I Busted a young buck at 258 yds less than 300 yards out the back door and processed the deer myself along with a little help from my buddy Jim. Still eating on it, even my 16 year old daughter and wife eating it. Thanks for the encouragement! My wife and I ate the heart cooked with olive oil and sea salt.

That piece of the ham you said was your favorite is the venison top round! I’ve cooked them sous vide at 132° for 6 hours then seared over charcoal with a butter baste and it was phenomenal! It was always a cut we used for jerky but never again! Super tender and flavorful! Definitely a top 3 cut for me on the animal!

I put the silver in the processor too. It all gets pulled out by the little holes. You have to clean them more often but we run burger meat 2 to 3x and it gets all the stringy stuff out and you don't have all the wasted meat you leave on silver meat.

Ya I'm use to getting bag's of tri tip that's untrimmed and trim it myself which costs about 1/3 the price of a trimmed roast and I get about 6 in a bag. Then I vacuum seal the rest with blood cloths. I always serve it up sliced like you did and of course them babies get smoked because I feel that's the best way to do it. I'm glad to see that you two are hard at it and putting meat on the table. Love you two and peace out from Arizona!!!

I spend next to nothing on hunting. I use my muzzleloader leave my cloths hanging in a pine tree over night been using the same jacket shirt and pants and hat for 5 years. Buy powder 2x in the last 5 years and I cast my own .45cal mold I spent 30 on and the sabot sleeves are 50 for $7 and use cheap shotgun primers I bought 1000 for 20 when I started. I have less than 250 into all my gear for muzzleloading the past 5 years which paid for itself the first year I bagged 1 doe 1 button and a 12 point. I have used 12 tags in the last 5 years and have saved alot of $ for my family and friends. Over 500lbs of meat which is less than .50 a pound for fresh lean all natural meat.

Honestly keeps is a great sponsor to have. But depending on your hair loss, you should look into getting a hair transplant. I did it and it was so much more worth the money. I used keeps before and had some good feedback but I saved a ton of money by getting a transplant done and I got my hair back within 8 months. Best part is that it’s permanent

The spelling you want is FASCIA - the connective tissue between muscles. FACIA is the front board under the roof of houses ! aka FACIA BOARD < I'm not trying to be mean or scold you , just an F Y I ! But you had the right idea !

I have always wanted to metal detect. I bought an inexpensive one but have yet to use it. 😔
Would love to see more videos on it!

That is a good cut but I like the heart even more. Some people think it's gross but the heart is by far the most tender piece of meat.

Great tip on the cream of mushroom gravy, we have been doing that for years and it's awesome. I'd like to suggest you try one extra ingredient 1 packet of onion soup mix. It smells awesome and adds so much flavor I promise you will like it. Try this on pan fried deer steak, a cup of water, soup mix then put it in the oven like you normally would with your cream of mushroom soup*(don't add extra salt)* serve over rice or mash taters please let me know what you think.

The "hanging loin" is the eye of round. It's one of the toughest primal cuts on a hind be quarter. I suggest burger or jerky. Gabe's favorite cut on the hind quarter is called the bottom round. I always use this for jerky. Pretty tough as a steak. The meat used it the Gabe's first jerky video is called the knuckle. Usually as burger or stew (nice). The top sirloin Gabe compares to being more tender than back strap hasn't been my experience. It's a good cut for steak but never as tender as back strap unless it's cooked low and slow in mushroom soup. Sorry Babe but that's my experience in 30 years of cutting up deer.

I have been using that same soup as a meat gravy for years, mushroom soup on pork the same day you kill it is great too.
I like it dumped on the meat and cooked in foil on the grill

Heck yeah I would love to see some metal detectors swinging. I love history and what you can unearth while doing it. I found a 1890 silver dollar in almost mint about a month ago. It's weight in silver is $30 alone. But that's the oldest I've found besides a 1927 Mercury dime

When I was stationed in Mississippi it never costed me much to hunt, bullets, power, and maybe gas cuz I would hunt between work and home. There wasn't all them fancy gadgets like there is today, would get in the woods and just pay attention, didn't work all the time but enough times to keep the fridge and freezer full.
