I have followed this Mittleider method for over 10 years now. It works fabulously well. The plants grow quickly and abundantly. Our boxes are 4' wide and outside under the sun and weather. David has been a great tutor and mentor. The ONLY thing I did not add was the piping and therefore, our water management was poor and probably over and under what would have been optimal. It was more work for me to water by hand. Now I am disabled. This year, we did not plant at all. Very sad. But I cannot physically do the work required. This method is a phenomenal way to grow your garden. I hope you can utilize your spaces and reap these benefits.

Nancy, you have and are an inspiration to all who know you. Gardening is work and the older we get the harder it gets. The automatic watering really helps minimize the work. Thank you for your comment and I wish the best for you.

I am REALLY wanting a greenhouse, but it is intimidating to me. If a greenhouse "warms up", how do you keep it from killing the plants in that 100 degree temp? Ive seen ppl use shade cloth on top of the greenhouse, but how in the world do you do that? Climb a ladder? I know this is stupid, but i really need the basics lol

No need to fear. I attach rope to my shade cloth and through the rope over the greenhouse then pull on it to put the shade cloth in place. It takes me about 15 minutes once a year. You can do this. Look for solutions, not excuses.

Just for your information: it’s not always used meaning something sexual…..
The 💦 (sweat drop) emoji can also refer to weather or water.
Whether someone’s talking about the rain or how their mood’s changed, the 💦 (sweat drop) emoji can be used totally platonically. Look for details like how hot or rainy it is. Also, see if they need more water or if they’re jumping in the pool. Finally, check if they’re talking about their attitude-they might be saying they’re really anxious right now.
A 💦 (sweat drop) emoji with a ☀️ (sun) emoji can mean the weather so hot that they’re sweating.
      “I love Arizona, but it’s scorching! ☀️ 💦”
If they like swimming, the 💦 (sweat drop) emoji can mean they’re going for a dip.
      “I’m so glad I have a pool now! 🩱 💦”
The 💦 (sweat drop) emoji may refer to a downpour of rain.
      “Why’d I move to Seattle?! It rains 24/7! 💦”
A 💦 (sweat drop) emoji can mean they’re literally dehydrated.
“Can you go grab my water bottle? I’m dying. 💦”
If the 💦 (sweat drop) emoji is next to something like the 😟 (worried face) emoji, they’re probably nervous.
“I have too many exams to prep for. 😵 💦”

@@fahinahigby1152I know. It was just a funny statement. Btw, is this LDS = Later day saints ? And what's this preparation ?

Thanks for the heads up. I guess benign symbols can have multiple means, aka, rainbow. To me the rainbow over Noah's ark signifies a covenant between God and Noah. Others, who haven't read the story of the flood in the bible and understand the rainbow may find a different meaning. To me Noah was the first "prepper". He prepared for 100 years before the flood came. To avoid confusion I changed the emogi to a single water drop. Yes, LDS, here, means Latter-day Saint, which I am. I share lots of experiences to help people get prepared for what is coming by helping them learn how to grow food as if their life depends on it. Also, off-grid and grid down power, water purification, etc. I hope you enjoy my channel.
