Do you fish the cambell river ? I've a holiday booked for it in Sept and I'm wondering what rated rods to bring with me. I'll be fly fishing and spinning
Been here for 52 years....the fishing is nowhere near note worthy now,however there are some small pockets on the Campbell that have beautiful steelhead.If you want larger fish and more of them ,Port Alberni is the place right about now.End of summer to mid autumn.is best.
Loved fishing this river, brings back so many memories watching this .

What would Haig Brown think now,with steelhead and salmon runs collapsing all over B.C.. They dammed the campbell,the river he wrote of in his books.
