The best armour and weapons are at the Dragonforge vendor, a quick google search will show where. In terms of smithing style I personally prefer a physical focus, but a balanced approach is also good. Dwarven isn't needed and neither is elven. Enjoy guys!
Dwarven Smithing is great if you lack Knockdown power or need more of it. Pretty good for a warrior for example. And Elven is the only one that Focuses on magic so its perfect for Mages and Sorcerers. For Mystic Spearhand i will go with Bathali or Dwarfen Smithing.
There’s 3 top skills that i never change, Dragoun’s Fain, Bubble Shield and Skiedragoun’s Feste, the fourth can varied. These 3 skills act as defensive and offensive and because there’s no dodge or parry they’re the best at keeping you alive
I use Wild Fury a TON, you can make a WLC offering to Dragonforged northeast of Bakbattahl and halve the stamina cost of a single move. So, just set that move to Wild Fury, and enjoy!
This vocation is so flashy and over the top it reminds me of that new character on Tekken 8. So stylish and fast it almost feels out of place but in a good way.
I killed the dragon by running to the tower and shooting it a few times with the ballista on top of it, got the skill when I first met him. Didn't know it was another part until I saw this video.
pro tip: when you come to malve and fight with dragon, don't fight it, use the huge crossbow on the tower 2 shot kill the dragon, then talk with spear dude, you'll unlock the class and he also give you the skill as well
I found it damn near impossible to use quik fot after scatering bolt. I wish they fixed the timing to not be so damn strict cuz it would be awesome to actually stun a group and teleport in. But as it stands unless they fix it its impossible
I know I'm late but if you guys were like me and you couldn't get the dragon to spawn or see srigurd in Harve village just go to dragon breath tower near bakbatahl speak to him and he gives you the vocation then continue up the steps to trigger the dragon quest where he joins your party and gives you the maister skill after defeating it
my only personal negative to this class is a lack of a parry/counter. i LIVE for that shit. so satisfying on Thief, Fighter, and Warrior. wish there was a parry>sweep or parry>impale
I love anything that looks, feels, or plays like a Dragoon class, only thing missing is a spear named Gae Bolg. I too did the tower thing, except I did it in two shots where everyone is saying it takes 3, only thing I did different was time the shot to score a knockdown because it kept leaving after the first shot. I've also seen people saying they get the special weapon it drops by using the thief's ability to steal loot.
Pro tip, not sure if mentioned in the vid as im only a few minutes it. But if you hold and charge your stun ability when you fire it it will break you out of the slashing animation so you dont have to wait for the flury to finish possibly leaving you open for attack
The mirror shield is the second best defense ability the first is the thief ultimate that makes you invulnerable to essentially any damage. All you need to do is pump up your stamina and your set so get a shit ton of stamina potions and you're not dying, solo'd a dragon.
To be clear I mean pure defensive skill. The Thief ulti is an offensive one that keeps you safe. The MSH bubble keeps your whole team safe. Over all I prefer the Thief skill though because I prefer offense.
Only one NPC there was a Mystic Spearhand, and he's the "creator" of the class, the bubble skill affects every ally close to you, so all your pawns and any npc doing a mission with you will be protected too@@reallybigjohnson
MS shield is way better, it protects all of your team and prevents all effects and grab attacks , aslong as You keep popping bubbles a dragón can't take them to control your pawns, it also prevrnts some knock backs but theres some attacks that bypass all forms of protections and knock you over eitherway... So MS bubles if You like to play as a team or thief pro Gamer mode of You like to be more selfish

I use wild furie with the Stam leech skill for Anti-Large enemies, you can use wild furie on the backs of enemies for metric shitloads of damage, than leech Stam and repeat
You can actually defeat the dragon once you enter melve if you use the ballista in the corner of the town. He drops good materials, one of the best duostaffs in the game and the meister skill off the bat
I like thief/rogue over everything because you get the skill formless feint, that move makes you feel like you’re in ultra instinct. Plus when you pair the smoke screen with the cutter move, oh my goodness that’s lethal
I thought I needed the sword and board, but this has proven itself more fun and more versatile. Definitely sticking with the spear until I unlock the Warfarer.
When I unlocked this class it became my main. The only thing I don’t like is how easy it is to get locked into that twirl. I hate the lack of control and that I can’t cancel out of the animation. But unlocking Warfarer made it better. Spearhand and Fighter vocation are the 2 vocations I have active. Mirour Shelde and Skydragon’s Feste are the 2 skills I chose for when I’m the Mystic Spearhand.
The way I map it. If it takes me up all the time it will be Y, if it is grounded/keeps me alive more it is A, if it has a more lateral attack it will be X, and I usually just put any extras on B 😂 like the force push or big magic attack
Same I bolted off a few cliffs going after Harry's I anger switched to mystic archer but I missed my jedi so hopefully he can convince to go back to it cus I want to but cliffs 😢 lmao

Hopefully this helps people. There's loads of ways to get the ability from him. If anyone messes anything up with him then you can max his affinity with gifts. If he doesn't give it to you when it's maxed then you will have to wait till he randomly approaches you( you'll see a little gold marker on your mini map just pop up. ALWAYS check out the random gold markers that pop up on your mini map!!!) He'll want you to escort him somewhere. He led me to a drake. And yes this all took place after I had already killed the infected one he wanted me to in the first place. I got the weapon from the drake but the dude just just disappeared without giving me the skill. Go back to his house after a day has past and he will give you the skill after the escort.
Ah damn, I already returned to Melve and sent the dragon away. Maybe I missed the opportunity to unlock the class until late game. Damn they really sucks.
No you can always get it. If you missed the class giver at the dragon attack you can find him at the one coast village that was destroyed by a dragon. You have to do a quest there so that they start rebuilding the village and once they rebuild one if the houses is of the dude who gives you the class (rebuilding takes 1 or 2 days so vasically one rest).

Dragouns Foin for a rapid way to get into fights. Or, if you're a ranged Warfarer, you can use unto sky or devout offering as a 'get off me' skill (but that's more for laughs). That's about it because Warfarer has, unsurprisingly, a lot of options.
I essentially just use mystic shield to make my warrior pawn immortal and also protect the mage, my 4th slot I’ve found really doesn’t matter. I just stall until I get a good opening then I deal a health bar of damage out
I got mystic spear n thief on #3 spot.. these two are the most op melee combatant styles. 1,2 goto magic archer n mage.. The thief has ultra instinct ... op af Msh is pretty op as well. Stunning and going behind the enemy while using the guard on the whole party
What body type would you recommend for the Spear Hand? Buff/heavy for the stagger resistance and extra carry weight, but with the Stamina-stealing skill to counteract the downsides? Or light/scrawny for the extra speed?

Pro tip: you can kill the dragon in melve the first time if u Run up to the Ballistia at the top of the town and fire a couple bolts at it. Once killed talk to the spearhand guy TWICE. First to give u the vocation the second to give u the master skill
Just so you guys all know, you can enter the desert region and kill the dragon before you ever meet the duo spear guy in Melve. This unlocks the vocation, but seems to prevent you from earning the meister ability. Dont be me lol
Warfarer. Archer build, when enemy closes on you, switch to Mystic Spear and punt them into the Ozone. You win prizes if you can shoot them like skeet before they hit the ground. (✿◕‿◕✿)
So after restarting the game 3 different times , OCD....I finally got Dead ringer by killing the dragon with the Balista. It fell on the edge of the houses almost falling ofr the cliff. I got the weapon but he didn't give me the master skill due to the dragon flying off. I hit him with the last balista shot while he was flying away lmao.
kill the dragon before talking to sigurd in the starting village to get wild furie. Climb the tower in the back and shoot a ballista to guarantee you kill the dragon.
Hold class ability for a longer time, and it actually charges up another time and has a sort of chime to it. I'm not quite sure what the benefits are, though
The mirror shield is just busted. I fought a dullahan and a dragon that I should have died to but because I could just mirror shield over and over we were fine
When I went to kill the dragon to get the master skill he ended up falling off the map and disappearing, I looked for him everywhere and still couldn't find him. So be careful this doesn't happen because I lost the master skill in this run
@@felpera945if you can get into any dialogue with him and are able to gift him jasper, do so, the rest and talk to him again. Might need to give him a second one but when his affinity is max he’ll give it to you

Dragons not even there for me. Not sure if im doing something wrong im here with sigurd but the dragon like despawned or something because it was here when i first showed up but when i explored more it just disappeared like it was never there
If you want the most help with this class, change your bumpers to triggers and your triggers, to bumpers if you play games like Fortnite your reaction time with shooting or getting the blast ready would be much easier

the stamina thieving ability just isnt good , later on you get to enhance your wild fury ability to consume half stamina at the dragonforged and theres an augment that reduces stamina consumption from abilities too
The stamina skill is good against bosses or a crowd if you freeze them after using the master skill or whatever it’s called. It’s one of my cycles for big damage Edit: you mentioned it. My bad for getting ahead 💀💀💀
Yeah... I messed up. I didn't really see or notice him when the dragon attacked, so I missed him. Progressed a fair bit and didn't realise untill now that at the bottom left it says sigurd with a sort of Red Arisen Scar symbol... why do I feel like he's dead and I'm going to miss out on collecting the maister scroll. Edit: It's also showing someone called "Cliodhna" on my map with the same symbol. I'm confused and honestly a little angry and irritated as I'm someone who spends a lot of time doing side content before the main missions. Missing out on stuff grinds my gears.

If you climb the tower when you first get to the town to fight the dragon you can kill it on the first try with three bolts From the giant crossbow. Also, if you kill it, you will get the strongest spear in the game by looting the dragon.

You can also add warfares ZEAL to decrease stamina further
2:47 charge foreboding bolt and when you are doing the whirlwind attack just use the bolt to instantly cancel it.

Funny I do the same thing, except I swap my lateral attack to B button because that's my dashing and moving distance button

I see alot of people having issues with not getting the scroll for the ultimate after killing the dragon, is this a bug or are there fixes?

That's not his team, the class just has a shadow clone ability

I got there and he wasn’t there !! All I need is that secret skill but idk how to get it , I killed the dragon but he was not there
When I went to kill the dragon to get the master skill he ended up falling off the map and disappearing, I looked for him everywhere and still couldn't find him. So be careful this doesn't happen because I lost the master skill in this run
Check the morgue in town. He might be there for you to revive with a wakestone! Not all hope is lost for you yet!
@@Maecks I went to the Bakbattahl morgue and he wasn't there, I'll try to go to other cities and see if I can find him

@@felpera945if you can get into any dialogue with him and are able to gift him jasper, do so, the rest and talk to him again. Might need to give him a second one but when his affinity is max he’ll give it to you
How about body type, height etc does it have ANY impact on this vocation at all?
im guessing the most overpowered one will be magick archer. that "thing" is out of this world. maybe thief, depends on who you ask

Just open up the controller settings for the game and then go into the button bindings and set up a macro for it.

Where is Sigurd when hes not at Melve? i didnt talk to him when the dragon was attacking and hes not there.
I found sigurd in melve in the beginning of the game i also found him in harve village
What weapon upgrade is the best( weaponsmith) just going hybrid str or magic?
Hybrid is great. Can go all strength, but hybrid is preferable and easier. Don't go all magic.

Dragons not even there for me. Not sure if im doing something wrong im here with sigurd but the dragon like despawned or something because it was here when i first showed up but when i explored more it just disappeared like it was never there

It's not just you, it's very hard to do. Have to press jump right as it hits
If you want the most help with this class, change your bumpers to triggers and your triggers, to bumpers if you play games like Fortnite your reaction time with shooting or getting the blast ready would be much easier

Right iv got a problem i can't unlock the spearhand iv done all the quests the guy gives gone back to melve no dragon spawns iv been to the fishing hut to see sigurd he's not there what am I doing wrong. There's no way I'm starting agen I'm level 52
Bro someone please help. as soon as I got to battahl I went to the dragon and killed, Sigurd didn’t die but all I got was the weapon and not the skill, did I do something wrong? Someone help, all I care about is the skill the weapon is just a juicy bonus. Is there I way I can still get it?
Edit: I went to harve village, I gave him one wyrmslife crystal and he game me the skill. disk why but it worked

This is the problem I'm having
the stamina thieving ability just isnt good , later on you get to enhance your wild fury ability to consume half stamina at the dragonforged and theres an augment that reduces stamina consumption from abilities too
How did you make you weapon arc?
I think unto heven can be used to launch small targets into big targets. Can someone confirm?
The stamina skill is good against bosses or a crowd if you freeze them after using the master skill or whatever it’s called. It’s one of my cycles for big damage

Yeah... I messed up. I didn't really see or notice him when the dragon attacked, so I missed him. Progressed a fair bit and didn't realise untill now that at the bottom left it says sigurd with a sort of Red Arisen Scar symbol... why do I feel like he's dead and I'm going to miss out on collecting the maister scroll.
Edit: It's also showing someone called "Cliodhna" on my map with the same symbol. I'm confused and honestly a little angry and irritated as I'm someone who spends a lot of time doing side content before the main missions. Missing out on stuff grinds my gears.

Your a man of true culture , I’m also doing a solo once I get my guy to at least decent level, level 30 rn still in early on doing side shit. I’ve got main pawn with me now but gonna make it like a solo rpg expernics . I love the challenge. Surprised some soul players aren’t doing this
If you climb the tower when you first get to the town to fight the dragon you can kill it on the first try with three bolts From the giant crossbow. Also, if you kill it, you will get the strongest spear in the game by looting the dragon.
