Never really followed sitcoms, nor Christina Applegate's career. But her Walk of Fame ceremony really got my attention, and I kinda fell in love with her. As a tribute I steamed Dead to Me.

They are watching my right breast. I have a marker but I agree MRIs should be used more for dense breasts. I had a lumpectomy on my right breast. Ended up being benign. Watching every six months
Christina has been through a lot. I love her as an actress

Comedy series Jesse (1998-2000) was great too. Too bad it's not mentioned in the video.

Wow. A shark contrast in Christina's voice between 1986 and 1988. I wonder what happened there. I don't think it was natural process and I would be surprised if she started smoking by then. Drugs are not out of the equation BTW
    0:52 - 0:56
She failed to mention she wanted out of the acting biz after Heart of the City and it was her mom who "convinced" her. But then, it was 1995. So that omission was expected. One thing I have to mention: some people in the comment section from various MwC related videos compared her looks with shock. That she looked too old to be 23. They weren't wrong. She hit the wall at that point. Also, she commented her sleeping and health issues throughout the years. Her face confirms it
    1:22 - 1:36
I knew it. She was there, even when the show was a chorefest on autopilot, for the money. CA making 125K per episode, mainly as eyecandy. About Faustino's comment on that, they were so focused on money they didn't noticed there were no residual cheques on their contracts. In the end FOX got the last laugh, except for Ed I assume
    1:46 - 2:00
No. That movie is just dumb and forgettable. One of the first flops on the big screen. Cult classic? Yeah right. It's as mediocre as 1996's Bordello of Blood (first thing that came to my mind). They could put it on USA Up All Night and it wouldn't make a difference. Animaniacs made public their contempt about it. However, she said she wouldn't take another Kelly Bundy role while still on the show. That proves she was there only for the money, like Ed when promoting the movie Giants. People never cared for her acting skills, but her skimpy outfits. if she really wanted, she could've auditioned for a role on some hit soap operas like Melrose Place. But then, my previous point reinforces it
    2:04 - 2:23
The moment she was a guest host for SNL. Nothing special. Decades later she admitted she was binge drinking at bars with Adam Sandler, David Spade and Chris Farley during the whole week.
Also, funny they failed to mention she used to work in the Viper Room months before River Phoenix died. Even she was there the night of that event. Taking that aside, the Pussycat Dolls gig was just another useless escapade of hers, like her photoshoots from late 80's to early-to-mid 90's. In a nutshell, she was livin' la vida loca in Tinseltown
    2:37 - 3:00
The only reason she was a guest star on Friends (possibly the only other role she's known for) is because the creators called her in, due to their previous job on Jesse. Another failed sitcom, with good cause. No wonder she never mentioned since then
    3:01 - 3:42
After a nonstop series of bad flicks (it's a good thing they didn't mention The Sweetest Thing), her first true hit on the big screen. Largely carried by Will Ferrell
    3:53 - 5:02
Oh yeah. Samantha Who? (or My Name is Christina). Another failed stint on TV with the usual charade of "muh cast, muh friends, muh script, yadiyada" cope, like in Jesse and many, many other actors from other cancelled series. But also it was during that time the 2007-08 WGA strike broke out. She basically bad-talked about it, blaming them for "ruining her Golden Globe experience"
    7:01 - 7:14
Dead to Me. Decades later she landed on a good spot. Even it felt more like an unofficial rendition of an alternate herself, with the hurdles of a modern post wall woman. First season was good, as well as most of season 2. Didn't connect it with season 3, though. Alas it seems like the show is gonna meet the same fate as Samantha Who?: initial praise and after some time doomed to oblivion
    7:15 - 7:59
Well. Someone said regarding awards for people with one hit: "stick around long enough and everybody gets that". Boatloads of nominations, aka "Congratulations. You tried" badges. Like all of those whose name are on the Walk of Fame, she paid for her star. It's also no secret she's got it thanks to her albatross and the only one she's known for globally: Kelly Bundy
