If you took your nice diamond to one of those rinky dink little jewelry places, THEY are the suspicious ones. LOL. I was looking at you pick up your ring and I could tell you were in the middle of the mall and I’m like “Who TF is she letting fix her nice diamond ring?..” 😳 I hope they didn’t jack you for your diamond.

I’m a soldier and nobody know what it does to you to not have rest and calm as constants in your life. The money will come but having peace is invaluable. Now I’m back in school trying to figure it out but people think Obstetrics is all babies and happy moments but it’s hard. I’m hoping you find your solution and praying you stay healthy. Girl. I’m in medicine too, and I know EXACTLY what your talking about. And people that don’t work in hospitals just don’t get all the BS and fatigue and exhaustion and insanity that comes with working these shifts. I would get off from working 80hrs a week and feel like I was driven to the brink of INSANITY, literally just because of fatigue and exhaustion. And those heart palpitations, I get those too! I’m switching career fields as we speak, I’ve had enough. Your young-you can literally do whatever you want in life. Do what you feel is best for your physical and mental health, wellness, and happiness, whatever decision that is. If you need to switch specialities, go for it. If you need to leave medicine entirely, don’t be afraid to do that either. The world is out here for the taking and opportunities are available everywhere. Much love ❤

I know this is late however as someone who worked in health care for about a year I can testify to how draining it can be on the body. I was forced out due to serious health issues I experienced from working in a fast paced, on your feet, no lunch breaks sometimes, hostile environment. I would always encourage anyone to please listen to your body and don’t ignore it when it’s saying you need to stop- whether it’s temporary or permanent. Do what’s best for you. Always health over wealth because health=wealth.
Okay so in terms of fragrances, since you are into fruity/clean scents I would reccomend “Burberry Blush” and Clinique My Happy “Indigo Mist”. The Burberry Blush is grown to me but a soft grown 😂 and it has notes of Pomegranate and Lemon, Green Apple, Rose Petals,Wisteria and Jasmine. The Indigo Mist has notes of apple, grapefruit, rosewater and cashmeran and is very fresh. All of the scents in the My Happy collection are travel sized and are designed to be layered together so maybe you would like some of the other scents they have and could combine them. Sorry to make it long but I just really wanted to share this! ❤️
Well I am not a physician but as an RN, I am right there with the residents/fellows/attendings who have been at the hospital for days at a time (not to mention being on call during the weekend and week). There isn't a break (and I work in the OR so it's no telling when you can get called in or go home to rest). Not a doctor but I am a Registered Nurse (19 years). I’ve done it all from hospital to clinic to OR to workers comp to public health to case management to utilization review to work at home for commercial insurance as a care manager. I know for ME, working in healthcare is draining. I want to truly work part time and at times I want to leave nursing. I can NOT and will NOT return to hospital nursing full time with a rotating schedule or night shift schedule. It’s not good for my mental or physical. I need to be on my bed at night and my body can’t handle switching shifts. Maybe you can reduce your hours before your body (mentally or physically) reduces them for you. I mean that sincerely…we are not made to work like that ❤ Hang in there and clarity will come. This was not unsolicited advice 😂😂 just words of encouragement

I was feeling the same way as an accountant. I work at a fast pace warehouse and over time it was so tiring and making me not feel like myself. I said something have to give. Either I stop working or figure out how to make this work. A course I couldn’t stop working but I did figure out how to make me working at a warehouse work with me being able to continue to feel like myself.

Go with the well known jewelers! Mall jewelers are sketch! You likely had a very quality diamond and they knew that and could have replaced it with janky ish plus I dont trust their cleaning process. The 2-3 weeks from well known jewelers is annoying but worth the wait, rings are expensive and worth taking extra special care of!

Same here! I took accutane when I was 16 and didn’t have any break outs until I was 20 and pregnant…lol. Fast forward and I started breaking out again at 29. I’m 30 and my acne is along my cheeks and chin area. I tried everything and accurate was the only thing that worked for me.
Okay, I had to run errands, so I had to stop watching for a few hours, but OMG. Do I need to make a drive down to Houston to fight those jewelry cleaner folk? It’s only a few hours away.😭 Btw, I’m not a doctor, but I used to work in the medical field (in the med/surg unit) and even though I adored most of the patients I worked with, I was drained. I even got badly injured twice. Like, I’m 32 (I left the field at 30) and shouldn’t have back issues.😩 Anyway, I’m currently a middle school teacher (love the kids, but they’re BAD) and initially was going to go to grad school to become a child psychologist, but I’ve decided to go back to school to become a dental hygienist. Go with the well known jewelers! Mall jewelers are sketch! You likely had a very quality diamond and they knew that and could have replaced it with janky ish plus I dont trust their cleaning process. The 2-3 weeks from well known jewelers is annoying but worth the wait, rings are expensive and worth taking extra special care of!

I think I heard you say that you were on Accutane. We’re you experiencing acne problems? I am currently struggling with cystic acne and was just wondering because your skin is so beautiful.
Same here! I took accutane when I was 16 and didn’t have any break outs until I was 20 and pregnant…lol. Fast forward and I started breaking out again at 29. I’m 30 and my acne is along my cheeks and chin area. I tried everything and accurate was the only thing that worked for me.
I took it in 2018 and my skin cleared by it came back with a vengeance in 2022 so I had to get back on it 😖

Btw, I’m not a doctor, but I used to work in the medical field (in the med/surg unit) and even though I adored most of the patients I worked with, I was drained. I even got badly injured twice. Like, I’m 32 (I left the field at 30) and shouldn’t have back issues.😩 Anyway, I’m currently a middle school teacher (love the kids, but they’re BAD) and initially was going to go to grad school to become a child psychologist, but I’ve decided to go back to school to become a dental hygienist. I’m applying in April. That will be my LAST career. No more switching.😂
