But it's one thing to be useful with the app and another to be great (digital is just an optical illusion).
the sample menu workflow looks good but makes me wonder what you think of the new gas therapy sampler v2, like you and Michael are me fav software producer struggle youtubers
The point is, set it 45rpm and then tune it down to get the crispness. You can do something similar in Maschine by tuning it up 6, resample, then tune it down 6. Not as fast, but similar result, you get the aliasing from the 1200 setting of you use that. Inphonik will add copy from pad to pad.
too bad the filter templets don't work like you click on it and will change the sound. you have to set the filter template first then add your own samples. But its neat that you can use a midi track to go up and down the octave pre pad. Each midi channel will determine which pad you are controlling one octave for each pad, with a total of 2 to 16 to control a few pads using a 88 keyboard.
if they add new 2023 edit power it will loose the magic of creativity of the 80s 90s era when with a little we did a lot, by the way, that's the way hit records was made, sometimes by mistake or by not having enough tools creativity was at a high level, that's my point of view on this product
Surprised they didn't make the resolution 12 bit or higher just because we all payed too much for the original 1200 and seems like the tech would be simple to include? Optional from 12bit/16/24? Why not?
I like you, but you need to stop with the subliminals. Just keep making your videos. If you are not going to give that man a sincere apology, at least get back to your original self. Calling a man a bitch, is not a good look.
Omgosh call me crazy, it is fun, but does not cut through mixes - like at all, if there are any tips id dog hearing them, but the samples are very thin
Thanks for sharing. It's certainly good enough for $30 vs how many thousands now? lol. It certainly has that inimitable crispiness, it sounds great. Better than the emulations on the MPCs for sure, imo >_>
the point is to work like the SP1200 minimal feature help you push for more creativity ... just like the original if extra feature are added then just make a new plugin ..keep it like the SP1200
Critical, somewhat bizarre omission is the lack of ability to 'archive' your samples with the Kit save...making it a real mess to keep your kits organised. Should be in v.1.1 asap. Its a fatal flaw
Infamous means famous for being Bad - as in "a date which will live in infamy" (Pearl Harbor attack). Very common mistake these days as UA-camrs copy one another's speech. Also, it says "tune" not "tone."
The French 'music people' make excellent software and hardware. Something about that romanticism - they don't just focus on Tech, they show a lot of love for the sound of what they produce. It doesn't surprise me the included library is very good - and authentic.
hm To me,...the hardware sounds nicer. The 12 bit sound feels more all-round to me, whereas with the RX it feels more clear with a bit less of a 12 bit feel
Low Hiss Sp1200 is dead ass an SP-1200. Only thing missing is the program Banks being compatible with the real SP-1200. The secret sauce of the SP is the 2.5 second limit per sample and THE SEQUENCER. Low Hiss SP nailed it.
I bought it and I am on the fence cause I had a SP1200 and It sounds different, more modern where as the box is more of a fuller sounding its dope to have as a plugin piece for the library and you can use the dynamic pass and make it sound the way you want it to sound.

Maaan FL Studio should have renamed itself to just Image Line or something to get rid of the Fruity Loops stigma
I’ve seen that sampler for $4,000
Thanks for sharing. It's certainly good enough for $30 vs how many thousands now? lol.
It certainly has that inimitable crispiness, it sounds great. Better than the emulations on the MPCs for sure, imo >_>
On The original things on same output intercept each other.
Is infamous really the right word?
the point is to work like the SP1200 minimal feature help you push for more creativity ... just like the original if extra feature are added then just make a new plugin ..keep it like the SP1200
Critical, somewhat bizarre omission is the lack of ability to 'archive' your samples with the Kit save...making it a real mess to keep your kits organised. Should be in v.1.1 asap. Its a fatal flaw
I'm going to make a small video to show you what they idnt wanna robb me for they had no clue how much money it's worth
I LIKE THAT YOU HAVD EXCELLENT DICTION BUT STILL GETS DOWN!! 🎉
Anyone watch wu tang an American saga the 1200 is featured a lot
Infamous means famous for being Bad - as in "a date which will live in infamy" (Pearl Harbor attack). Very common mistake these days as UA-camrs copy one another's speech.
Also, it says "tune" not "tone."
Copy dez nuts bih!
No. why pay $30 for a stupid workflow?
The French 'music people' make excellent software and hardware. Something about that romanticism - they don't just focus on Tech, they show a lot of love for the sound of what they produce. It doesn't surprise me the included library is very good - and authentic.
Peeped the Dilla Time literature, got my own too
It’s still Fruity Loops, we that old!
hm To me,...the hardware sounds nicer. The 12 bit sound feels more all-round to me, whereas with the RX it feels more clear with a bit less of a 12 bit feel
Imma listen to their demo
Low Hiss Sp1200 is dead ass an SP-1200. Only thing missing is the program Banks being compatible with the real SP-1200. The secret sauce of the SP is the 2.5 second limit per sample and THE SEQUENCER. Low Hiss SP nailed it.
Have you checked out the Isla s2400 drum sampler
We talked about that a few times on this channel
I bought it and I am on the fence cause I had a SP1200 and It sounds different, more modern where as the box is more of a fuller sounding its dope to have as a plugin piece for the library and you can use the dynamic pass and make it sound the way you want it to sound.
You think the company faked the video. They did a pretty spot emulation of the Sega Genesis YM2612 chip not too long ago.
@@AveMcree I am not saying they faked it but they clearly did not show them using the SP in the video they showed a picture of the SP but for 30 beans it's why I am on the fence the sound library is pretty good and nostalgic.
Y'all found my secret now, lol
Can u add samples to it?
Is this compatible with pro tools?
They are pretty similar... I think that the RX1200 is a little more bassy... Thanks for the video.
PS: I never had an SP1200. I have a ROLAND MV8800 and I also bought an ISLA S2400 and I am happy with it! Saving money for a second S2400 but the RX1200 is very very good, strongly recommended!
I have an S2400, why would you need more than one?
@@TheNinja94a Ιt only has 16 voices and the way I work, I need two.
Cool plug
Not being able to drag and drop samples into the GUI is a massive turn off on this plugin. It sounds good..but that is a workflow killer
literally did that in the video
@@AveMcree you can't just drag and drop a wav strait into the vst. You have to file search it in the plugin database and then drop it into a pad. Not the same as drag and drop
Ya now getting hip to this?
ALERT ALERT ALERT ! If You Run Your MPC In Controller Mode Via Plugin Thru FL Studio, You Can Do All These Things Once You Purchase The RX1200, It Takes A Load Of Your MPC Program By Doing It This way For Sample Chopping As Well.😁
doesn't like fl studio
You can do that though. You can chop a sample, then export it to audio files and put it on the pads no? I use it with MPC 2 and it works well....
Do you know if its possible to use with mpc one standalone mode or just controller mode i been using rx950 in my workflo for a few months now in contriller mode but laptop just died am peaking
I bout caught locked jaw grinning like Cheshire Cat😂😂Got it yesterday 😂😂 I really didn't want to spend Madd loot for the Isla or Rossum. This is a Hallelujah Soul Power Rah!!!!
RX1200 and 950 is a Dynamic Duo
No time stretch? Odd
I tried dragging the sample from MPCX to the pads but the Pug-In keeps disappearing from the screen. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
Anyone know why you can’t drag audio from Edison onto it? I have to drag the sample to an empty sampler channel then drag that into the RX1200 plugin which is super tedious
I have a very very good analog old vacuum tubes and everything this thing is from the seventies takes little midi floppy disk. And this thing is a technique sense organ bro and it is has everything to manipulate sounds like 12 bit like almost like Pharrell Williams type type gets warm is great. Find a way to DMV personally
Yea this has that ring the sp-1200 have. We’ll…. At least from my MPC X mode.🙂
YES Super Dope, Only thing to me... It looks a bit blurry at 150% & 200% Display Zoom.❤🔥
