Amazing. They've kept the original storyline but yet modernized it and holding no restraints on the violence. You can't compare it to Brandon Lee and they aren't trying to obviously. I think this will be probably one of the best movies of 2024.
Brandon Lee’s movie will always be iconic, though universally cherished, even that film strayed from the source material. They’ll never follow it to the letter in any interpretation of popular media. Why can’t we just be stoked they made another movie? As a fan I’m extremely happy. I was 6 when I saw the first movie(probably too young) then grew into the graphic novel as a teen and young adult. I agree, I did feel like there was a lot of weight being put on the images alone so I am glad we at least got the trailer to actually see what we are getting! The Crow was never meant to be one man, it was meant to be a call to action for wrong doings. So, theoretically we could get infinite movies! Wouldn't that be something! But we will see! Great reaction, Mel!!! The trailer was okay to me, but it just feels and looks way too much like John Wick. Specifically John Wick 2-4. There are car chases, gun-play, the scope of the film is HUGE! I wasn’t sure after seeing the initial images of the Crow “makeup/getup”, but after watching the trailer, I’m much more optimistic… This has potential to be the best besides the original IMO. Not a high bar I know, but I think it definitely has potential to be something I like. I don’t want to know any more until I see the movie though.

This was good! Even though I don't really care about this movie I found this interesting. I would like to see you do more of these. Between your Leprechaun ranking and this we are getting a lot of passion from you lately.
First of all I absolutely love all of your thoughts and I love that you brought out the original source material to show us how the character looks in the comic book compared to Brandon's depiction and Bill's depiction. I'll admit I was not and am still not crazy about the look they went for with Bill's depiction, especially all of the tattoos, but as far as the hair goes it definitely makes me feel a little better about it knowing that they were trying to be more accurate to the comic book. I saw you posted a reaction video so i sought the trailer first. I'll wait for the "helpers" on this one. The trailer didn't inspire me to want to see it in Theatres. The trailer wasn't even interesting enough to keep me invested in watching. It actually looks from the trailer as if waiting for the "helpers" may even be a waste. I've only seen the first one 2 1/2 times and so far apart i can't really remember it. Last time for the OG was when the Retro VHS Slipcover was put out. The time before that Blockbuster still had hundreds of locations when rented. As i debate whether i'm informed enough about the material to comment I'm thinking of a Leto as Joker compared to all the rest for my feelings. I feel like I’ve been watching a different trailer than a lot of people. This is so flat. The story is supposed to be so deeply emotional, and that’s just not coming through at all. FIRE IT UP, MEL!!! 😀🙌 Ok we need more reaction videos from you Mel! Love it! P.S. I need that lips phone in my life. Makes me immediately think of the one from Once Bitten where they’re in the night club:)
Within this new reboot, I pray that it doesn't change the graphic novel. But as well in the first movie💯. James O'Barr's novel is wonderful😟🙏🏼. As well, the 1994 movie was awesome🌹🖤🌹! I'm eager to see it, the trailer is great👏🏼. I hope as they are doing this movie, they are being safe. And the philosophy is the same. I'm a huge fan.
This little three minute trailer straight up body bags all of the sequels minus a positive nod to city of angels for trying. i was in the theaters way back in the day when the first movie dropped. This gives me good vibes after all of those garbage sequels. I like this personally. Im going to see it.
You didn't like Wicked Prayer? Hahaha just kiddin! I agree 100% and I am totally going to see this in theaters. Even if it doesn't hit the mark it will at least be a good action flick from the looks of it!
Brandon Lee is a legend!! Hahaha I love this comment! Appreciate you thoughts for sure!!! Honestly, it kind of looks like a lot of the action was in the trailer!
My only complaint is that I felt they showed too much. But that's pretty much the norm these days. I won't be watching any more trailers until I see the movie.
I have some grave reservations... The Crow comes from a place of unconsolible grief, pain, loss, rage and love.... I will give this film a chance but if it ignores these things it will fail and fail big time.
Hey Mel, I think this movie looks awesome. It's dark, Brutal lot's of gunfire, and it's not a shot for shot remake of the first movie. Skarsguard is going to tear the screen up. I can't wait.
I dont think they showed too much. I think it hinted at a much larger scope of things. The villian whispering into the blondes ear, and looking like shes getting possessed. Makes me think theyre using material from the series Crow: Stairway to Heaven.
Oooo now that is an interesting take!! What did you think about the line 'tune is running out to save her'...? I second guessed that one since she was supposed to be dead.
@@mykillerpodcast from the water seen where see is being dragged into darkness, I think it's more of saving her soul, then actually bringing her back to life.
Ya, I definitely feel like they showed a lot of the kills and action. I hope the movie has more in store but I also don't know how they would fit more in LOL But it does look good and I am excited!
All I pulled from this trailer is that we are in the tv universe and we are going to be on the scale of what happened after the show ended and that that is the Erine Hudson character in the car saying I killed you and that the skull cowboy is still a black male which is one of the best characters of the shows run and the TV movie was are only remake of the Brandon lee movie there is a lot to do here trust me the trailer showed almost nothing and they are hiding so much
Really! I heard they are doing reshoots after the trailer dropped and the screenings weren't great. Bummer it would have been nice to see what they already had. Did you hear that to?

@@mykillerpodcast If I remember by then, I’ll pop back and comment. I’m waiting for streaming. Before the trailer, I’d planned to see it in the theatre, but I’m just not interested enough to spend the money.
I’m really hoping they just picked all the worst dials for the trailer, but that would be a weird marketing decision…
FIRE IT UP, MEL!!! 😀🙌
Ok we need more reaction videos from you Mel! Love it!
P.S. I need that lips phone in my life. Makes me immediately think of the one from Once Bitten where they’re in the night club:)
Dude right!!! Ha ha it actually works to! The lips phone that is lol More reaction vids I think I can do that!! Thanks my dude!!
My initial viewing I didn't really like it, but your reaction gave me food for though. Great watch.
Thank you! I am glad you are giving it a second thought! I have hope for this movie yet! LOL
My Killer Podcast question for you do you know the story behind The Crow? You know the story behind its creation
Yes I am aware!!
This has been my fav trailer reaction for the crow trailer. I can't wait to see it.
Yesssssssss! Thank you, you just made my day! Glad you enjoyed it since it was my first! Maybe I will try to do more of these...it was kind of fun!
I have high hopes for it as well! Can't wait till June!!
More of this!
Woop woop!! You got it sir!!
I know where the show ended I saw that they were Shelly’s family cabin and knowing the end of the tv universe I was like I see what your doing
Right! Now it may be all different. I heard they are doing reshoots.
Looks like poop. I saw all I needed to see in that trailer and won't be watching when it comes out. Long live Brandon Lee!
Agreed! I hope they don't show any more or why even go to the movie 😂
I have some grave reservations...
The Crow comes from a place of unconsolible grief, pain, loss, rage and love....
I will give this film a chance but if it ignores these things it will fail and fail big time.
I totally agree! This one has to be about story and tone for sure! I hope they don't miss the mark on that point!
ALways like first movie to me all know know for me .
i was born 1993 when he died watched 1997
Ohhhhhhh man! Ya, the legend of what happened on that set will forever be ingrained in the children of that era. BUT it can't rain all the time.
It’s funny they never said that about the TV movie and show
They movie has been delayed now, which is a bummer.
Interesting 🤔 thoughts Mel I really like the original movie but will this be enjoyable we’ll see
We will indeed!! And I can't wait!! 😂
Hey Mel, I think this movie looks awesome. It's dark, Brutal lot's of gunfire, and it's not a shot for shot remake of the first movie. Skarsguard is going to tear the screen up. I can't wait.
Right! After seeing the trailer it gave me so much hope!! Can't wait to see it!
I was pleasantly surprised by the trailer. Looks better than I thought it would.
SAME!!! I did a total 180!!
Good trailer 👍
Thank you! I thought so as well!
@jacobhale4537 Oh man so you think she will be brought back? I dunno how I feel about that 😅
@@mykillerpodcast no the end should be him able to put her soul to rest. So they both can find peace in the next life.
I can’t wait to check out The Crow. Looks really interesting. Melly do you feel like they showed a little to much in the trailer ? 🖤🤘🏻💕🍿
Great first impression, looking forward to seeing the movie
Same!! For sure!!
🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
🤘🏻😎
#notmycrow
#fairenough LOL I appreciate your thoughts for sure! Brandon Lee is a legend so it will be hard to see someone else in the makeup!
Can't wait to hear your thoughts!
Well let me know what you think after watching it!!
Fix your gear
I am not much of a stick shift driver LOL
Hard pass on this crap.
Fair enough good sir!!
❤❤❤
Hope you enjoyed it!!
oNLY ONE crow not this crap
Hahahaha I am assuming you mean Brandon Lee? He rocked that role!
@@mykillerpodcast yes only one
It's awful
Hahahahaha maybe!!!! We will see!
I think it looks okay but I really love the original movie. This to me feels like John wick with supernatural powers
You know someone else made that same comparison! It feels modern for sure!
@@mykillerpodcast yah I actually saw their comment after and replied lol. I’m hoping it’s at least a fun time!
