I watched Solarbabies a TON back in the day lol. Loved it and will need to revisit it. Great list Mel. I missed out on that Tank Girl box set and kicking myself.

Dystopian Fucks

Have you seen Cyborg 2 and 3? They're good too and star Angelina Jolie, Jack Palance, Malcolm McDowell, and Zach Galligan. Part 2 is on German blu. Class of 1999 Part 2 just got a German blu. You never bought the blu of Demolition Man? From a recent Warner email I think they're considering doing a 4k of it. I sold my Cherry 2000 Kino blu because they said 2 years ago they were doing a new restoration, and it still hasn't come out. That one you have actually went OOP awhile ago. Goes for some $$$ now. Looks like you missed out on Kino's Solarbabies blu. I got it for maybe $10 in one of their sales, might've been 2020, I guess it went OOP not long after.

Hey Mel, have you seen Soylent Green? Its a dystopian film from the 70's and is pretty good IMO. I've even heard it might get a 4k soon

Borderlands will probably be ok if not compared to the game, just like the Resident Evil movies. Have you checked out Twisted Metal the series, another one based on a video game, but it's a great dystopian show. 🤘😎

Cherry 2000 aounds pretty good!I love Waterworld! When I hear Dystopian, Waterworld & Tank Girl are the 1st to come to mind. I really want to see Boy Saves World, it was in and out of theaters real quick. Awesome hair & thanks for the shout out Killa Mel! Also I'm digging that Son In Law VHS on that background!

I don’t know anything about the Borderlands video game, but I like the trailers. It looks good to me, but supposedly it’s been getting terrible reviews. Just gonna have to see it for myself!

Unfortunately, Borderlands is going to suck. Very miscast. Especially, the character of Tiny Tina. Play the game instead.

I would recommend Dredd with Karl Urban, Mega City One is about as dystopian as it gets. Great picks by the way, I plan on checking out a few that you named that I haven't seen yet.

I'll be honest, but probably not too helpful. I am not too sure what I think of the hairstyle.I have seen and enjoy most of these, but haven't seen Cherry 2000, Turbo Kid or Solarbabies. I would add Prayer of the Rollerboys to this list.
