I think the post credit scene is exactly what we need. It reminds me back of when Thanos first appeared in a post credit scene, if done right, Knull can be the next Thanos. I'm glad they did not give us all we want, save it for a later movies, build up Knull slowly, let the story sizzle.

It was obvious people should've known much of Knull was limited to the credits, but Sony shouldnt have even added Knull in the trailers imo. The suspense would've made the movie feel much more exciting than it already was, instead they uploaded the near entirety of the plot in the trailers💀

@@IntelligenceQuotientPlayz There was no way that was Toxin, appearance-wise, and canon-wise, in the movie they said that Mulligans symbiote had abandoned him so they had to inject that green one into him, we can assume that a speck of carnage had gotten into Mulligan when shriek killed him in Let there be carnage, and toxin abandoned him, but he's still somewhere here

I just saw the movie a couple hours ago. Had a blast!! Tom Hardy and everyone else really went all out for this one!! I loved the action, humor and backstory on the symbiotes and Knull!! The 3rd movie is my favorite one by far!! I’m excited and hopeful that Eddie goes over to the MCU and stays there a while!
Man, you feel fear of Knull when he got up from that chair, freed himself with the sword, and you can feel how angry he is and his will to destroy. I don't know how can they pull it off with such overpowered character, but I hope they can and they will. Also, the soundtrack for Knull is great too. I don't know about the comments, for me, movie delivered what it should delivered. All of us would like more of Knull, some fight between him and Venom, but let's trust them for the process.
It felt like there was a more heart felt movie here and some producer came in and meddled. The opening with its Knull exposition dump felt put of place. There were moments where it felt like they added voice over dialogue that didn't match the tone of some of the other lines. Especially in the first 20 min of the film. There were weird moments where the general says something about sending in the reanimated six, or something and it goes no where with what that means and what they can do. The dance scene with missing chan felt forced and contrived and pointless and out of place considering venom knew he couldnt go into full venom mode. Weird moments with the members of the science team in the basement like we are supposed to care about them like their chracters were developed but weren't. Etc etc alsp the cut aways to the camera survaillence was shits of just the same camera. So in some back ally in Mexico and in the middle of Vegas are the same exact busted up white cctv cameras? That was just lazy to see
Bruh just enjoy the movie, thats such small things and most hollywood films have out of place scenes get used to it, focus on the good things not the bad things its not a deal breaker those things

3 billion would be 3 billion dollar movies. Which is a ten year investment. Hell no. They just made crazy money off their movies, and now their value isn’t as high. A fourth movie is hard to sell usually unless your Thor, Spider Man, Dr Strange, or a TV Show.
Marvel does own the Spider-Man rights just not the movies. But video games, toys, comics and basically everything else adds up to millions of dollars. So they good on not having the film rights
I like that they were able to keep null a secret for so long and didn't give it away in the 1st trailer..This was definitely the best venom film of the 3, I got more emotional and had more fun than I thought I would. It atleast gives you faith sony can do something good other than Spiderman.
It would pretty much end the same for Knull. If Eddie died, the same as Venom did, the Codex dies. Neither of them are supposed to die so it could be retrieved, then he would let them eat the two. Meaning Knull wouldn't be set free. He'd be just as pissed like he was when Venom took himself out. He needs them alive. Though that one scene where the Xenophage was about to eat Eddie was weird to me and it violates the orders Knull gave these things since they needed him alive due to the codex existing in both of them; only when Venom goes full symbiote over Eddie's body. Not as his slimy form or just Eddie, they're both needed for the Codex to show up on the Xenophage's radar.

Gonna throw in my prediction that the bartender (Cristo Fernández) could be linked with the next codex as he might be the next to carry the Venom symbiote from the cockroach in this universe. He's been featured in two movies now, so I have a feeling they might have been setting him up for a much bigger role moving forward.

QUESTION!!! Saw the movie last night and my son and I were wondering if the symbiote test tube that Juno Temple had was actually the same symbiote piece from the bar in mexico within the Venom universe. So we know there are pieces of venom in both the MCU and the Venom Universe, but the symbiote that she grabbed and then broke was a different color. And that is why when it bonded with her she was slightly pink. My son swears that she put the venom piece into a machine with a few other test tubes.
No that capsule she had was taken from the group of symbiotes they had already captured. She slipped it in her pocket when the Morph attacked the facility

I dont know if it matters, but 1 memory during the memory montage as eddie walks at the end of movie, is a Venom memory, of him at the rave, Eddie wasn't with him during this, so why he would even think of this, suggest perhaps venom is still within him as well.
that caught my attention too .... my only guess is that Venom shared that memory with Eddy... OR... It was a mistake, they (the Producers) thought it was a "cool" part of Venom, and did not think about the fact that Eddy was not with him.... or they thought others would not notice

Hear me out you guys! The MCU has been teasing Knull all along. In “The Eternals” there’s a scene where a small dog comes face to face with a deviant and I think this dog could be Venom. Not to mention the Ebony Blade from from the end of Eternals could also be adapted/retconned/tweaked to have something to do with Knull. Wait, there’s more. In Shang-Chi, the “soul-eaters” and the Dweller in Darkness look an awful lot like xenophages and they come from some kind of dark primordial realm. The people in Ta-Lo and the 10 Rings specifically seem of Celestial origin in nature with the celestials being in direct opposition to Knull in the story. Wait, there’s more. Clear Knull references in Thor:Love and Thunder with Gor and the Necrosword and the Light Gods being of celestial origin just like the people of ta-lo, hence why Gor wanted to ”kill all gods” because of his personal vendetta and Knull’s influence on him.
Hey, listen! There were actually 3 symbiote leftovers that venom left that were shown in the movies. 1. Spiderman's universe: Left in the bar (No way home) 2. Venom's universe: The bar from mexico (Which eventually turned into Agony, the girl venom from the last scene) 3. The post credit scene: Cockroach made contact with symbiote.
I just left the theaters, and thanks to Charlie for the clarification regarding the cockroach. I'm assuming that piece of Venom is still in the MCU and will eventually reach Holland's Spidey.

Watched this in 4DX. It was really enjoyable for everyone there. It's definitely better than Carnage. Not entirely sure why the cop gets blue eyes in V2 but then has a symbiote in V3. The moment the lightning girl destroyed the vial that slight zap of lightning gave me a feeling of The Flash and BOOM we got a superspeed symbiote. Really liked that, was very cool. The ending worked quite well, not sure how we're gonna go from here and how Venom will return but looking forward to it. Introduced my wife to Venom (so we could watch V3) and she loved it. Really enjoyed Venom 3 as well. [Don't believe i saw the second post credits scene where Venom survives]
Saw this tonight and it ended up being pretty good. Im excited for Spiderman 4 and what Sony would pull off for Knull. Im just hoping they dont waste him off like they did with Carnage.
Saw the movie last night and I think it's actually the best out of trilogy. Correct me if I'm wrong but was there ever a symbiote with super speed that teddy got in the end? The hair was scream, but obviously different powers. I think it was just a thing for the movie to tie into her character and give them an out in that final situation.
All I can say as an insider: We've been working to include Garfield. The Multiverse will be assisting in releasing Null. Pay close attention to Dr Strange, Clea, and Loki. Thats all i can say.

Ladies and gents-I went in with low expectations and walked away super stoked! I really enjoyed this end to this trilogy!! I look forward to it coming out on streaming platforms
What if: I was thinking that piece of venom that was left at that bar, when General Rex Strickland caught it, and said to the bartender, “Viral Shedding,” and he also said “these things wanna live.” What If that piece of venom somehow survived, then venom would be back in business, I guess? Maybe? If it survived that military base’s explosion, after all, Eddie did, right? That piece was in at the lab area, I think.
I loved seeing the Symbiots working with the humans even willing to risk getting killed saving them. As for crossover movies when they get done between Marvel and Sony. The lawyers need to BTFO as well as the others that push them into stuff that doesn’t work. Also Sony should just let marvel make the stories and sit back and make some of the money. They know how successful the Spider-Man crossover movies have been.
I wish the writers went into more detail on who the king of darkness was and why he’s so powerful. A hour & 50 minutes doesn’t seem long enough to cover everything the movie showed us.
Venom deserves better. He deserved a better ending. I was in absolute floods of tears. Absolute floods. Venom is my Absolute favourite character out of anything. I love Venom. I have a 3ft figure of Venom on my nightstand. This movie sucked. I'm not buying it when it comes out.
This movie makes more sense to how Eddie would hate Spider-Man, venom already likes Tom holland, I.e. screen kiss in the carnage post credit, and if Eddie sees venom having fun with someone else, it’ll create a jealousy element enhanced when Peter rejects the symbiote.

Bad things vs good things about this venom movie: *Bad things* 1:Too Many Arcs, Its Called Venom But Barely Has Any Venom 2:Knull Was Only There For Around 10-20 seconds of screen-time 3: It wasnt as funny or goofy as the other movies. 4:Too Little Runtime. *Good things* 1:The Emotion, Venoms Death Was Emotional And Made Me Shed a Tear. 2:The Symbiote Cameos, I liked having lots of symbiotes teaming to fight knulls army of xenophages. 3:The PG-13 rating, they pushed PG-13 rating to the max, they included enough blood to make me happy. 4:Not Killing Knull In Just One Movie, in my opinion knull is too powerful for a one and done. 5:Venom bonding with different organisms, it seemed fun to see venom switching from horses to frogs and fish. Overall Rating: 6/10
Oh also - Dr. Paine referenced the cockroach surviving everything at the beginning of the movie and at the post credits scene, it's a cockroach that survived.

Well in comics codex existed in literally every symbiote host who bonded with a symbiote even for a small period of time and in comics knull sent grendall or the symbiote dragons to get the codex but then carnage fused with one of them creating absolute carnage which knull used to get all the codex and eventually seting him free

I think that in spiderman 4, tom will die but eventually be reduced by the symbiote and thus a codex will be created and can be used to tassle the nulls arc in Secret Wars....that he will come for the codex formed after the resurrection of peter, the earlier plot was also similar to this just with a grounded story
I can’t imagine Sony Not wanting Hardy back with venom somehow. Maybe they make a deal with Marvel and bring him from another universe? Not sure how, but venom has been one of their biggest successes and it doesn’t make sense to kill him off permanently.

It would pretty much end the same for Knull. If Eddie died, the same as Venom did, the Codex dies. Neither of them are supposed to die so it could be retrieved, then he would let them eat the two.
Meaning Knull wouldn't be set free. He'd be just as pissed like he was when Venom took himself out.
He needs them alive.
Though that one scene where the Xenophage was about to eat Eddie was weird to me and it violates the orders Knull gave these things since they needed him alive due to the codex existing in both of them; only when Venom goes full symbiote over Eddie's body.
Not as his slimy form or just Eddie, they're both needed for the Codex to show up on the Xenophage's radar.
I enjoy this movie and basically the best of the entire trilogy

QUESTION!!! Saw the movie last night and my son and I were wondering if the symbiote test tube that Juno Temple had was actually the same symbiote piece from the bar in mexico within the Venom universe. So we know there are pieces of venom in both the MCU and the Venom Universe, but the symbiote that she grabbed and then broke was a different color. And that is why when it bonded with her she was slightly pink. My son swears that she put the venom piece into a machine with a few other test tubes.
No that capsule she had was taken from the group of symbiotes they had already captured. She slipped it in her pocket when the Morph attacked the facility

I dont know if it matters, but 1 memory during the memory montage as eddie walks at the end of movie, is a Venom memory, of him at the rave, Eddie wasn't with him during this, so why he would even think of this, suggest perhaps venom is still within him as well.

Hear me out you guys! The MCU has been teasing Knull all along. In “The Eternals” there’s a scene where a small dog comes face to face with a deviant and I think this dog could be Venom. Not to mention the Ebony Blade from from the end of Eternals could also be adapted/retconned/tweaked to have something to do with Knull. Wait, there’s more. In Shang-Chi, the “soul-eaters” and the Dweller in Darkness look an awful lot like xenophages and they come from some kind of dark primordial realm. The people in Ta-Lo and the 10 Rings specifically seem of Celestial origin in nature with the celestials being in direct opposition to Knull in the story. Wait, there’s more. Clear Knull references in Thor:Love and Thunder with Gor and the Necrosword and the Light Gods being of celestial origin just like the people of ta-lo, hence why Gor wanted to ”kill all gods” because of his personal vendetta and Knull’s influence on him.
Sony will never relinquish their rights to the Spider-Man franchise. It's the only profitable asset they possess. 🤦🏿♂️
They could seal the deal with Disney.
My best theory is that the next being that the symbiote bonds with is Peter Parker and that's how Knull is brought back

1. Spiderman's universe: Left in the bar (No way home)
2. Venom's universe: The bar from mexico (Which eventually turned into Agony, the girl venom from the last scene)
3. The post credit scene: Cockroach made contact with symbiote.

Watched this in 4DX. It was really enjoyable for everyone there. It's definitely better than Carnage.
Not entirely sure why the cop gets blue eyes in V2 but then has a symbiote in V3.
The moment the lightning girl destroyed the vial that slight zap of lightning gave me a feeling of The Flash and BOOM we got a superspeed symbiote. Really liked that, was very cool.
The ending worked quite well, not sure how we're gonna go from here and how Venom will return but looking forward to it.

Saw the movie last night and I think it's actually the best out of trilogy. Correct me if I'm wrong but was there ever a symbiote with super speed that teddy got in the end? The hair was scream, but obviously different powers. I think it was just a thing for the movie to tie into her character and give them an out in that final situation.

What if: I was thinking that piece of venom that was left at that bar, when General Rex Strickland caught it, and said to the bartender, “Viral Shedding,” and he also said “these things wanna live.” What If that piece of venom somehow survived, then venom would be back in business, I guess? Maybe? If it survived that military base’s explosion, after all, Eddie did, right? That piece was in at the lab area, I think.
I loved seeing the Symbiots working with the humans even willing to risk getting killed saving them. As for crossover movies when they get done between Marvel and Sony. The lawyers need to BTFO as well as the others that push them into stuff that doesn’t work. Also Sony should just let marvel make the stories and sit back and make some of the money. They know how successful the Spider-Man crossover movies have been.

The fact that it took an entire race of symbiotes to rebel and imprison knull was epic.You can sense the nobility and heroism.
Loved the movie. Area51 soldiers are elite high tech soldiers, while Xenophage aliens are Symiotes (but better) and with spikes !!! . wow .
This movie makes more sense to how Eddie would hate Spider-Man, venom already likes Tom holland, I.e. screen kiss in the carnage post credit, and if Eddie sees venom having fun with someone else, it’ll create a jealousy element enhanced when Peter rejects the symbiote.

Bad things vs good things about this venom movie:
*Bad things*
1:Too Many Arcs, Its Called Venom But Barely Has Any Venom
2:Knull Was Only There For Around 10-20 seconds of screen-time
3: It wasnt as funny or goofy as the other movies.
4:Too Little Runtime.
*Good things*
1:The Emotion, Venoms Death Was Emotional And Made Me Shed a Tear.
2:The Symbiote Cameos, I liked having lots of symbiotes teaming to fight knulls army of xenophages.
3:The PG-13 rating, they pushed PG-13 rating to the max, they included enough blood to make me happy.
4:Not Killing Knull In Just One Movie, in my opinion knull is too powerful for a one and done.
5:Venom bonding with different organisms, it seemed fun to see venom switching from horses to frogs and fish.
Overall Rating: 6/10
Opening the movie with Knull was epic!
Venom isn't dead, remember a piece of him was recovered early on in the film. They wouldn't have done that scene unless it was for a reason.
Oh also - Dr. Paine referenced the cockroach surviving everything at the beginning of the movie and at the post credits scene, it's a cockroach that survived.

Well in comics codex existed in literally every symbiote host who bonded with a symbiote even for a small period of time and in comics knull sent grendall or the symbiote dragons to get the codex but then carnage fused with one of them creating absolute carnage which knull used to get all the codex and eventually seting him free

I think that in spiderman 4, tom will die but eventually be reduced by the symbiote and thus a codex will be created and can be used to tassle the nulls arc in Secret Wars....that he will come for the codex formed after the resurrection of peter, the earlier plot was also similar to this just with a grounded story

I can’t imagine Sony Not wanting Hardy back with venom somehow. Maybe they make a deal with Marvel and bring him from another universe? Not sure how, but venom has been one of their biggest successes and it doesn’t make sense to kill him off permanently.
I enjoyed this film far more than it expected to but it is still objectives pure schlock so the movie in my opinion is a solid 7.
