Thank you Paula. It is really good to have each feature explained in a separate video as you are doing. It's like having a well laid out users' manual, where one can quickly flip through to the chapter needed.
When I was at the Factory a couple of years ago, we were looking at a loading issue with the Techno Rollex 612. They have a store of old, expired films for demonstrations such as this. It was already "wasted" by being unsold stock.
it also acts as a 'practice' roll for loading, not just the film holders, but in the darkroom ( the processing tanks) as well. this film nobaly sacrifices itself so we don't make any expensive mistakes in the future, think of how many technique mistakes the "dummy load" lets us make safetly without wasting the expensive stuff, like colour film.
I like that you did not mind the film. Others on UA-cam demonstrate with just backing paper or no film at all. 3 donor frames is generous, thanks!

Thanks so much for sharing this I appreciate it.. It also helped me a lot with loading the Rapid Rollex 6x7 holder for 4x5 backs.
Many thanks for the video!
That was easy - does this version fit an Intrepid 4x5? Thanks, Paula.
Will this fit on a Technika 4?
But why waste a roll of film and not shoot it?

It's not a waste if it served its purpose-- teach us.
