I purchased a used Technika IV and have been reading the online manual and playing with it since. The only thing I didn't get is how to change the blade/curve. Now I'm excited to go home and try your method. That being said if I buy another blade for my 90mm, since the serial number do not match, it may be slightly off?
great video, but am considering a 5x7" version of the tecknika, is the anatomical grip, and the viewfinder( and/or masks) available for this format; ie can one order these separately?, and who to contact. ( PS: I live in Australia, so international shipping and GST would need to be factered in to things as well)- if contact is direct from Germany.
Hi, thank you for putting this very informative video together, I just bought my first Linhof master technika as well as a few Nikkor lenses, just wondering where can I buy the cams for different lenses? There is one in the camera which is 150mm, but I have a 135mm. Thanks in advance.
@@jacovanlith5082 How would you know if the OP has sent a mail to Linhof? And how would you know if Linhof has responded? Absolutely ridiculous, reading your comments on here.
The viewing frame has been pulled out. First bring it back towards its zero position, otherwise everything will be out of focus. The rangefinder can only be used when the filmholder frame touches the body of the Technika.
The Linhof quick release system for mounting a cable release in a Linhof board.. Linhof lensboard are sold in a second hand shop in Delft in The Netherlands with the quick release system removed and so having a huge light leak. A kind of swindle I have never met.
The firm ARRI in Munich in Bavaria is the manufacturer of lightning equipement. Can you please turn on the light, so I can see the camera you are showing.
This female Linhof employee might jerk a paper towel dispenser from the concrete wall of a German nuclear bomd shelter. She is mistreating the Linhof Technika camarea. It is a crime against analog photography.
Mount the Technika 70 on a Linhof tripod with a pan head. The video I am looking at is very restless. Linhof mr. Frits de Weerd showed the Technika 4 x 5 in 1970 in a professional way; so I bought the camera. You should make a better video on the Technika 70; In Deutschland liebt man Qualität.
I agree totally. I wouldn't buy a used wheelbarrow from that place, especially after seeing the way she extracts the front standard. More to the point, I wouldn't ever leave my Technika with them for service or any repairs. Anyway, Linhof is only one of their products. When going there with Linhof inquiries, they are just as likely to steer you toward whatever other product, new or used. 😶

Mr. Edie Jim Linhof has not answered your mail yet in 2022, which is impolite.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND
Why is Linhof London not giving an answere to al the questions.
I think Linhaf Germany will not be pleased, knowing this.
