I love the smell of a 2 stroke in the morning. I miss my Banshee. I had the engine rebuilt and bored out to a 410 all the engine work was done by Nac's Racing and the frame, Swingarm, A-Arms, Axle, Steering Stem, and all other hardware was made by LoneStar Racing. AC Racing Bumper, Grab Bar and Nerf Bars, Ricky Stator Co. beefed up the Stator to produce a more potent load to power 1st Gen LED Lights front and rear, Rental Fat Bar Handlebars, Toomey T5 Exhaust, Dual Chrome Mikuni Carbs, Nac's Racing Boost Bottle, and I had the Side Case, Kickstarter Lever, Brake Cover and all screws and bolts Anodized Red, UFO Plastics, Skin Industries graphics kit, all that on Douglas Beadlocks with 4 ply Shredder tires made for one hell of a desert racing monster! It made 2 people nearly cry from fear after riding it(they never made it out of 3rd gear lol). I wish I never had to get rid of it but family comes first. I am almost at that point where it's time to build another beast.
My dad used to have a Quadzilla 500.. Used to watch a home video they took back in the day of him and friends riding.. One of my favorite parts his buddys on the back of a truck filming going down the road at 50-55mph.. Dad comes up behind them on the 500 and wheelies it then sets the front wheels down on the tailgate. Grabs a beer from the cameraman then hands it back, revs it up and picks the front end back up then passes the truck. Im sure hes still got the video somehwere but ive always wanted to ride one..
This is how I want to wake up every morning. I love the sound of two strokes and really want to install a big triple into a small car. Living in Alaska these engines are everywhere and would make a great winter project.
Man this is insane to watch. Didnt know there were 2 cyl 2 strokes on quads. A guy i knew had a rd350. Almost the same engine. You really control it like its part of your body. It must be the experience, an untrained person will wreck it. This really got my adrenaline flowing, and im not easily aroused.

I have owned a few.,still have one blown up n completely disassembled in basement, this video an the sound of that beast makes me wanna blow dust off it an order parts today!! The increase in power when you crank dwn is crazy, unreal how great it handles on powerband. Comes on so smooth but with shitloads of power, an fourth gear coming up in wheelie like others would be doin second gear. Awesome machine, best all around Banshee ever saw, an I saw your woods ride you Helluva rider too,!!
call me crazy but at about 1:40 i was leaning sideways on my couch and now i smell hot tires and two stroke oil pouring out of my phone speaker. I considered selling my shee over the winter im really glad i didnt. I think i have plans for it. Great video.
Love thm Shearer pipes. Matt Shearer is the best whn it comes to building custom pipes. The only sound tht is close to thm is Toomy. I used to run nothing but CPI until I went to the track and compared thm against the clock. Thn I had to put the test to the dyno. Nothing goes on any of my bikes unless its Shearer and if I'm building something else besides a banshee I'll call Matt and I still run shearer. There awesome. Did you guys kwn tht CPI outframe pipes only make 1.1 H P. more thn there inframe pipes. Plus Shearer inframe pipes makes more H.P. thn CPI outframe do. 6.8 more h.p. no joke. Depending on ur setup! I'm not the only one tht has dyno thm. Lane at Drive Line Performance has got the close to same h.p. number but he sent CPI the dyno sheet in a email. CPI has never replyed back. L.M.A.O. By the way Hellcat I dont kwn wht ur clutch setup it but if u run the same clutches tht go in the Yamaha 1000 RR street bike u will get more h.p. to the ground. Not saying ur not getting it there now but u want have to grab tht clutch as much to get front in up plus thy will last longer. If u reply to this misage I'll tell u wht street bike make and model the clutches will fit right in the Banshee. If u dont kwn all ready. Plus the secret is in the still plate. Odd but true. By the way. All thts been dyno proving tht more h.p. gets to the back tires. I can give u some buddy's numbers across the USA that thay have done the same test on there dyno. I love the vedios my brother. Remember Keep the rubber side down. LoL
