Love your videos, and thanks to this sponsor I have already earned $50 cash back. It is amazing!!
Love the videos man , what party of Iowa is this ?
@@appallokelley3207 The party of the first part, of course. :D
Love the comment clairvoyance of "You needed that, Not where we're going". 🤣🤣The question is where are you going? UA-cam glory, Redneck/Dumbass Glory, the hospital, or all the above in epic fashion hoping it was caught on video for posterity.
I have used Upside for almost a year... recently all my local stations stopped coming up on upside... so I guess thats over with
This is what happens when you leave an engineer and a fabricator in the shop too long and with enough beer last a long weekend. Primo stuff, y'all!
I didn't see much engineering taking place
I'm kind worried - aren't you not supposed to chop/weld rollbars?
Beer isn't required, just tools.
@@Iowa599 Rear brake also not required...
@@Iowa599 That's the problem. Alcohol and machinery don't mix.
I want to see Mook drive it!
Well, heck YES!
The squeaking would destroy the microphone.
I mean, she's Financed now...
I just want to see Mook!! 😍(with respect, of course)
She's so small it'll just fly away
Can’t wait to see episode 3 next year!
the golf cart is now a holiday series!
Oof 😂😂😂
Realistic time line that I can work with! 😂
Project Golf CBR is finally finished 2026
This comment hits hard
with his bends being too long and Kevin's being too short, putting their brain's together you'd THINK they would get it right lol
I love the banter and how somehow they pull it all off by the end of the video
If anyone is interested, the JYD hats are super high quality. I just got mine today and it's very nice.
Also, mine came with a lugnut and signed sticker. Thanks Kevin and Mook!
You are very welcome sir! Thank you for supporting us
“It’s not about the artistability” and “Minimum money Maximum fun” need to be the next JD Merch T-shirts 😂
The tube bending had me rolling. So much fun to watch, thanks for the video!
I am totally for a "Junkyard Tube Bending" spinoff channel :P
Boy you two guy bring a whole new level to laughter is good for the Soul! Back in the day I bent roll bars, working for a friend in a 4x4 shop he had all the designs on paper but doing the math to make the bends land in the correct spot is a real wonder. Look forward to your next reveal on this beast.
This video reminds me of my youth when we would fab up Honda ATC rear ends onto old SkiDoo snowmobiles. I also seem to vaguely remember copious amounts of beer going into our builds. Thanks for the flashback boys.
Oh this is EXACTLY what I needed on a Friday night!!! Thank you Kevin!
I've said this before, but you guys are nuts! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That was fun to watch
that wrench holding that caliper on was genius. kudos to whoever did that.
Looks like they lost it though
Every 10mm wrench has been lost. How do they find themselves on a brake caliper?
Love the welded chain!! Looks like something I'd do. 🤣👍
ime so glad I aint the only one who has trouble with tape measures,,,,excellent show as always,,,,,
I bought the Tube Shark about 25 years ago when the original inventor (Final Approach Engineering) was still manufacturing it. It's now owned by someone else, but it is basically the same concept as the Rogue. It makes quick work of tube bending once you learn a few things. Primarily, always use the seam in the tube as your 12 o'clock or 6 o'clock so you can reference it on compound bends. Always wipe your tubing clean before bending so you don't score your dies, and wiping the tubes with a WD-40 soaked rag before bending makes them slick through the dies smoothly. Use a scribe instead of a pen for accuracy, and your bend always starts behind the lock at the lead edge of the saddle die, so you slip the scribed mark right up to the front of the saddle before clamping the lock. Then, sit down and make yourself a cheat sheet, doing the math for each of the tube sizes you have dies for and the radii to center line of the tube diameters for those dies. Also, take notes on the spring back for different wall thicknesses (.060, .095, .120 are most common) and add them to your cheat sheet. Once you have this done, it is super easy to determine your measurements to the inside or outside of a bend based on radius and half the tube diameter being used. A 20' stick of 1.5" .120 wall used to cost about $18... now it's closer to $80, so mistakes get expensive quick. That notcher is very cool, and I may have to retire my crappy old one for the Rogue. Great job guys!
Finaly part 2! The first part was so great❤
Make sure you get those cool fenders on the back wheels when it's done so it's kind of a sleeper for parades and whatnot
This thing is the reason i started watching your channel. More straight junk please
Omg you guys had me dying laughing with the measuring and bending. 40 1/2😂😂😂😂
Hot damn. Part 1 was the video that introduced me to this channel. Thanks for being here and for all your friends :)
"Let's convert fuel into noise and smoke." Words to live by 🔥
Glad to see it back again!
Awesome guys, thanks for sharing your time with us all. Gerald, NZ.
The Dynamic between you two is amazing. Every video with you guys Puts a genuine smile on my face. Thank you for that!
6:11 the safety squints
This was a fun video you and Phoenix are definitely trouble together and probably shouldn't be left unsupervised to be honest.
I definitely want to see part 3 on this golf cart.
I agree you should let Mook drive it that would be fun to see.
I always enjoy your videos they always make my day and very educational
I'm guessing a fair number of Busch light apples we're involved in this process lol... Great content 🤣🤣🤣
Hope you fixed that fuel leak, at about 9:10 you can see it coming out of the line!
was just gonna point that out :D
48:30
@@aidancox2489 now the question is, will they remember that when they next time work on that xD
We're not going to worry about that little guy 😂
Need a light? 😮😮😂😂😂
Hinge the clutch lever handle, connect it to the shifter, so you can run thru the gears. We did this to an old Honda odyssey... It was wicked....But yours is insane!...Love it
Been waiting for this video.... sleep can wait!
@35:00
My brain began to throb trying to keep up with your measurements beiing spouted back and forth between you and Phoenix, thanks Kev
I was laughing my ass off !!! You 2 are great together. He got busy after the last video building the golf cart. Now he will go bankrupt. Lol!!
You guys are doing what i love to do !! Once put a 185 dirtbike motor on a mini bike. HAVE FUN
This is one of your best. Just fun and f"*cking up, with tools. Love your content.
"This'll be done tonight!"
ONE YEAR LATER
"....welp."
I am so excited for this follow up, also, my sticker pack arrived, so I'm putting junkyard digs and junkyard mook stickers all over my laptop.😁
The 10mm wrench is a nice touch 🤗
So that's where the dang 10mm went.
Yup....Redneck approved 👌
@@1987FX16yep 💯 that is where it went. 😅😅😅
making golf fun again.
I’m so glad to see this build again this cart was what brought me to your channel all that time ago! Watched the video all the way to the end!
YES. I was bored AF now im not anymore. New Junkyard Digs upload to the rescue!
Kevin you and your buds seem like some of the coolest and most laid back chill car guys I have ever seen. BTW just wanted to say for your military service, thank you for serving our great country.
Hope you Mook, and the entire family have a great thanksgiving holiday!!!
Looks like you guys have more fun in the Winter than the summer haha lol
I just watched the first episode of this last night, how good!!
Man I can't wait until you reach 1,000,000 subscribers, you absolutely deserve it!
I haven’t laughed that hard in a very long time…. That pipe cutting fiasco was hilarious
That needs the blaster front suspension, a shift linkage with the suicide clutch!
Also, extend the rear fenders, to keep the golf cart look.
Love your work and the channel, thanks guys, from the UK.
YES finally! I needed more 600cc golf cart stupidity in my life.
As someone that drives a golf cart everyday for work...I approve this video. Now I need to convince my boss to let me build one of these.
What’s the saying? “It’s easier to get forgiveness than permission”?
Thanks everyone. That was truly a great video . And was great seeing Jhon and his wife and family
Need to add a couple tubes/gussets on the rear hoop to the horizontal hoop the rear shock support is tied into. All the upward force is strictly on the weld. Couple short tubes on each side would help alot. Love the vids/content guys. Looks like a blast! Have fun and keep it up!
For the production version just advertise it as a new type of cage with built in crumple zones 😂. Awesome show!
That wrench holding the brake caliper on that is levels of creativity that I never imagined but totally something I would do
Kevin that death cart is a hoot. Looks like fun. And it screams. Leave it to the imagination, and it’s built. Thanks for sharing!
I just wanted to say how much I love your videos, and how much they inspire me
Watching you guys do the cage fabrication with the beers reminded me of a saying one of my good friends used - he always called cold beers "Aimin' Oil." Goes well with Tonya Hardings and Welders. Enjoyed the show.
I had an E-Z-Go golf cart with a 24 horse V-Twin Honda lifted with ATV tires crazy but fun...... enjoy your content
Man, you Hombres have a few cogs missing out of your brain cluster gears. I'm 83 yrs old and really enjoyed it! Watch all your videos.
Now the next thing you've got to try (next spring) is to take it to a golf course and see how fast you can play 18 holes. That would give "ready golf" a whole new meaning. Hilarious video, guys!
Watched/listened whilst running on the treadmill, way better than the junk on tv at the gym.
You guys gave such a great laugh on this one. Oh the math. Keep on having fun.
I recently came across your channel and have been sort of binging it. Most episodes are great, educational, informative, entertaining.. But this episode was something else. All around hilarious. Congrats on your upcoming million subs, you deserve em and more.
Gonna go back and rewatch Part 1. This was a special surprise after work. 🤙🤙
I’m so glad part 2 was made! Part 1 was the first video I saw of yours. I’ve been a sub ever since!
listen up kevin..about the oil in a motorcycle engine..yes..the bike is vertical or leaning..BUT it also stops hard enough to get the rear wheel Off the ground..so the oil is pinned to the front of the pan..then on HARD acceleration, the oil is pinned to the back of the engine..There is no better pan baffling anywhere than in the pan of a high performance bike engine. Next time you tray a few laps at top speed on a 600cc Honda RR or a Ducati 1000, you will understand..if you survive the lap.
Hell yeah so glad to see a part 2.
33:30 ‘Rogue Fab: make the best bends, in the wrong places, with ease’ 😆
The pipe measuring incident is the sort of thing that happes to me whenever I try to build something.
I think it happens to a lot of people. We can all relate.
I like that he blamed the beer. He would rather be a raging alcoholic than a bad fabricator lol
@@jackorwick - Priorities.
That needs to go to the freedom factory for the burnout competition
What a ride this is, you're always coming up with something wild. This thing is a beast mode beauty! Wow
I didn't think I would enjoy this series, but it has been super entertaining to watch you and Phoenix cobble this together!
I was watching vgg’s new video but I’ve been waiting for this one for a while now.😂
That van looked pretty sweet
Gotta rejet the carbs. It's running lean, if you're going to mess with bike stuff it's worth getting a jet drill set, otherwise just go one up on the pilot and shim the needle one washer. I know there are a few radio shacks around the ames area, they sell little bags of assorted washers, there is one size in there that's perfect. A lot of shops are more than happy to get rid of jets and stuff since everything is FI now. Also need a air filter to get the jetting closer.
So many shenanigans in this Episode 🤣🤣🤣 @Junkyard Digs
I'm mildly reminded of a build I'd read about some 20+ years ago. Someone took a FWD late-sixties cadillac with the 500ci engine, stripped off the entire front clip, welded the steering straight, took a VW bug, removed the body, cut the pan, welded the front half of the bug's pan to the front of the cadillac, then cut the cadillac frontend free from the body at the firewall. They had to build a cowl to protect them from the radiator and to direct air up from underneath, and to build a bunch of linkages, but they had effectively a 500ci V8 Volkswagen Beetle. Apparently no matter how much they worked on alignment (they left it possible to adjust tie rods) they couldn't get the car to launch straight with that much power.
Excellent video Junkyard Digs Kevin :) also Flex on Golf Cart and super fast and should get a motorcycle also Snowmobile engine that carb in one's too! Lol that so cool 😎
those early cbr 600 motors are bullet proof, i bought my project that had been sitting for at least since the early 2000s, put it all together and she fired off with a little easy start and then fuel.
Measure twice, bend once. Then measure again, cut and weld. Perfect!
I thought you were crazy destroying that rusty Ford pickup but this is on another level!😳...and awesome!
The next thing we need to see after the roll cage is installed is fix or add a gear shifter, rear tires, tighten front wheels and maybe add a windshield and do a top end speed run.
So, part 3 needs to be out before next summer. Just think how it would fare on the annual Cars and Camara's Grand Prix !
This was probably the funniest video I've ever seen from a car channel. Thanks guys
That thing is fucking glorious. It needs a complete series with many ridiculous add-ons and antics. Can't wait for the next video!
Rogue Fab might PAY to have this video taken down! Just kidding. Thanks for the vids! 👍👍
Dude the 10mm wrench bracket is GENIUS! Man I love this machine
I haven't had this much fun watching a video in ages, thanks for cracking me up! 🤣
Wow absolutely awesome y'all are having so much fun.
This is how I found your channel loving it ever since. I've always wanted to do this with all the damn bike parts I have
I will never get tired of Phoenix and his infectious smile
That was great and amazing and awesome . Thanks for sharing
you guys crack me up! Greetings from South Portland, Maine
I need to see about 8 of them racing on a dirt track! keep going with that one.
Keep going very nice work and fun thanks 👍👍👍😊
43:44 Nice and safe, doing that slip-slidey burnout stuff with a totally-unprotected propane tank nearby!!! :O :P
That thing would be amazing on a frozen lake without much snow! Really test the top speed. Though I'm not sure how many of those you have in Iowa...
I could only imagine getting this tech inspected for go cart drag racing 🤣
Yall are ridiculous!!! Made me smile I haven't had that much fun since idk when....like 20 years ago beating the hell out of some old pos duck taped seat Polaris or alike snowmobile that me and my buddy went in on and bought and went and tore up the wooded lots across the street before the richy riches took over and bought up the marsh and developed it??? Idk looks like fun makes me smile brings back good memories! Nice video gents keep up the good work!!
this was great video, well done fellas
These guys are having toooooooo much FUN!
