To make this even easier knorr pasta sides has A creamy pesto pasta that is the same pasta as she's using and is so good even my kid who is a SUPER picky eater loves it if your on a budget it'll work the same and a fraction of the price. If your not a knorr sides fan im telling u just give this one a chance its addicting.
No.. it doesn't make any difference But add salt while you boil pasta and when you take them out and rinse in ice water add Lil bit oil and toss this will prevent sticking
@@killjoy8097 don't talk like an immature rich kid. Not everyone has the availability and money for buying those Expensive ingredients like Italian basil, parmesan cheese or cherry tomatoes in India. Specially parmesan. Why to spend extra when you can easily find alternatives.
Ok mr smart guy, italians totally use only pine nuts and i can confirm that. They totally use ONLY pine nuts. Why would they use walnuts, walnuts are cheaper but give almost the same texture and taste. All italians are rich and ONLY USE pine nuts. Totally.
But i have seen mostly when its used as a dip only that time people make it more coarse otherwise for pasta or rissotto they usually blend it and make it smooth . I like the coarse wala though
@@blackseastorm2490 do it. In my country pine nuts are way too expensive lmao even compared to walnuts so I'm happy never buying them at all. And Walnuts do give that nutty flavour which you need in a good pesto.

Tulsi is holy basil 😅
What is pesto ? Mint leaves chutney or Tulsi leaves chutney?
Heyy..
Pesto originally is Basil (Tulsi pesto)
But mint pesto is an alternative of the original one.
@@mayankkhede3898 ok thanks
You'll need more water when you boil the pasta
Yeah that's not pesto anymore. That's just green chutney
Missing pine nuts, parmesan, salt, pepper
Do u need walnuts ? I’m allergic to nuts sooo
That's also optional you can directly go without any nuts.

Try sunflower seeds as an alternative
Thanks 👍

Nope
Tulsi is a different thing but it's called holy basil
Chef from whatsapp university.
Misleading
Wall-nut? If you could show your enthusiasm in finding actual pine nuts then your “pesto would have been besto”.

Why TF are you yelling?
You’re not making me eat that
Pesto needs to have texture. Shouldn’t be a paste.

Wrong nuts :D cooking pesto... 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Pesto is never heated
Joke
Questa non è pesto alla genovese vergognati
Lol pesto is pesto because of pine nuts
Not necessarily.. A lot of people use walnuts in place of pine nuts. Walnuts tend to give the pesto a creamier and buttery texture.
@@honeybaruah3094 do you think there is a difference? Can i just make it with walnuts
