Just installed the 55" S90C about two weeks ago. Fantastic picture and we bought it for $1,299. I see the S90D is going for $1,999 at most places.
That's how it always works. When the S90C came out the S95B was on deep discount that made the S90C seem like a bad value.
How is the sub-4k upscaling capabilities of the S90D? The biggest issue with the S90C was poor upscale processing so I hope it's much better this year

is the audio lacking? why do they also have the s92d which puts out 60 watts instead of 40? and if combine with a q990d, does it not support DTS? I dont get that. isnt that a big deal? Is the 77 inch for sure going to be qd oled, or is there a chance it will be woled? how do you know for sure what you are buying? thanks

Which one should I buy, this one or the s95c 🤔
I have the 77 inch S95C now for 2 weeks and the picture is great. I notice only some bad jidder with sideways (pan) shots. On my LG CX this was less visible
Can it be wall mounted using slimfit wall mount
@zeeshanejaz This one won't use the standard slim fit mount, but it does work with the full motion slim wall mount from Samsung.

Where do you find the 42", 48", 77", and 83" models? Not for the S90D.... Only 55" and 65" were released!

Is it worth upgrading from a Samsung S95B to a Samsung S90D?
Does it have Dolby Vision ?
@yorer247 No Dolby Vision on the Samsung TVs. They support HDR10+ instead.
1:14 the panels isn’t the same for all sizes only the 55in,65in and 77in get the QD-oled the 42in,48in and 83in get the w-oled.

@@abtelectronics 55 and 65" for NA will always be QD OLED. For the remainings sizes I think it will be luck.
Hi. Thank you for the overview. If possible, can you elaborate on the S90D’s streaming of low quality content? This was a definite weakness of the S90C. The LG and Sony (of course) were far superior to the Samsung in this regard. Thank you!
Seems like smaller S90Ds (42 and 48) are WOLED panels.
@eyescreamsandwitch52 It's possible. We haven't received any in the smaller sizes yet. We'll be able to check once we have one out on display on our salesfloor.
Is it WOLED or QD-OLED?
I think so far every panel was a qd
We took a macro pic of the pixels and it looks like it’s QD OLED. No white sub pixel to be seen.
@@abtelectronics there has been reports that Samsung is going to mix WOLED and QD-OLED panels for the S90D series of TVs and they wouldn't label the TV to show which panel the consumers are getting. I hope they don't do this to the consumers.

@humoody That's correct, but the S90D still has an anti-reflective coating so it does a really decent job handling glare.
So s90d overall better than s90c?
@ReviewMeOficial It's an upgrade, but not a huge one. You can see differences in the picture quality, but if you already have the S90C it wouldn't be worth replacing with this one.
Samsung S90D or LG C3 ?
@nanzddevil The Samsung will look a little brighter and colors will pop a bit more. That being said, you're likely to be happy either way with those two choices. @DontFuckWitDreDay Tizen isn't the snappiest OS out there. It seems like it's gotten better over the last few years, but we still did experience some lag.
