I used to think that my faith is strong because I held on to Jesus so tightly but the truth is I am only still living because of how tightly Jesus has held on to me. I only have weakness, God has the strength!
That reminds me of the verse in 2 Corinthians 12:9-11 “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
I was an atheist. I was a heroin, meth, cocaine addict for 20 years. Multiple times in prison and homelessness. I was selling my girlfriends and myself for money. Robbing people. I eventually overdosed and died. Doctor later told me my heart had already stopped when the paramedics arrived. My heart remained stopped another 5mins. In that time period I experienced what could only have been multiple centuries in hell. It lasted so long that when I was revived I was basically paranoid & insane for a month thinking the torture would all just begin again. The first thing I did was go to a church and asked if I could have a Bible, and asked them to pray for me. I’ve read that same bible multiple times a day every day since then. I know for a fact I was wrong before, and I cry because I feel l ashamed for how I treated the life god gave me. I thank him so much for my second chance, and i just wish everyone could get a second chance because no one is ready for hell. It is worse than you can even imagine.

@@brushfire Well. That's not me. I was 'raised in the church' and 'bought it hook, line and sinker'. Then I got older and someone that I respected said, 'Maybe it's not true.' When I honestly considered that, it quickly became obvious that I was simply imagining things to be true that weren't. The 'outsider test of faith' was the clincher.
@kellystone7501 You have missed the point entirely. If you can't believe in God then you can't believe in truth. I Know God is real and that Jesus lives and that he atoned for everyone's sins. An imaginary being would have no way of knowing who you are nor would they be capable of atoning for your sins. Jesus has an infinite capacity of love for every single person that has ever lived is living and has yet to live. That means you are loved by Jesus and so am I.

The Lord delivered me too. I read the whole bible in search for the Truth of who Christ was… Changed my life. I sometimes slip into sin and struggle with bad, lustful thoughts, but by his grace I can comeback and keep going. It slowly is losing its grip, and the commandments Christ gave about loving others (by copying him) changed everything about how i live now. It difficult in the sense that my fleshly, sinful desire wants pleasure, but it’s so delivering to be able to fight against it and have this peace that what I’m sacrificing and trying to kill is worth killing for the Kingdom of Heaven to be here a little more on earth by helping and lovingly others one person at a time through Christ

I used to be a no believer but one day i came across this book called 'Unmasking God's Truth (by Kirk Dales)'. It was about the pandemic. For some reason, after reading that book I felt strongly compelled to start reading the Bible and started reading the KJV version. I also started confessing Healing scripture daily. Then I started to see miracles of healings and other miracles in my life. I remember a non believer mocked pray but their pain went away after I prayed and laid hands on their leg. They very reluctantly had to admit 100% healing and zero pain. Then I got baptized and am now a believer. I'd say much of the reason why so many don't or can't believe is in part due to the rules of the Kingdom. In the physical world, you believe what you see, but in the spiritual world, you only see after you start having faith. Ive seen so many miracles that even non believers are questioning themselves after I tell them.
I never saw any miracle until I stopped needing one to believe. Miracles don't come to make people have faith they come because of their faith. Even so, it's not about seeking miracles it's about seeking God through the Lord Jesus Christ. What good is a miracle to us without salvation? The greatest miracle is salvation and the restoration of our relationship with God!
I remember when I first read through John not to long ago and John 8:42-47 always stuck with me because I have always wondered if God would ever forgive the devil but Jesus made it very clear, he will never ask nor seek forgiveness because that’s who he is/who he always will be.

I was a Mormon/LDS I believed wholeheartedly that I was in the “right religion,” and then I read the Bible without the use of Mormon doctrine and without the use of the Book of Mormon. If you are a Mormon, you practice another gospel no matter what the current prophets say or what people in the church tell you. You’ve already been led astray and yet most if not all Mormons are likely good people who seek after Christ. Sadly they are being tricked and following a different Christ. One that does not tell the full truth and includes doctrines that make one prideful and ignorant to the real Gospel of Christ. I truly hope others find the truth in the Bible as I have. Just last night I was trying to explain how The Parable of the Talents is about Yeshua and his coming to the earth and returning to Heaven, that the expectation of those who he gave his message to is outlined in the servants who give him ten, five, and zero fold of his investment. How the idea of the man reaping what he did not sow is the ability for god to welcome all, jew and gentile or lawless and lawful. And again just today I was speaking about the book of Job and how God speaking with Satan makes sense because words are how God does everything. When we think about him battling Satan we need to think of it as him speaking. When we think about him creating we need to think about it as him speaking. Matt 15:11 Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Words are everything to God. I continuously get blank stares from people, even people at my church and even sometimes from the church leaders.
Those are all interesting perspectives. I resonate with your comments about the book of Job and God speaking. I’m sorry it seems as though church members don’t understand you. I would encourage you to keep openly sharing and asking questions with other members and the truth will always rise to the top. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
I can identify with that. To be fair, I was like it myself. Developing the ability to communicate with shall we say "people that don't know God" about God and the Bible is a skill that had to be nurtured. Just the very mention of our Lord invariably gets a negative response. I pick my words carefully, prayer for wisdom, and practice patience. As I get better my success rate/ positive reaction is definitely improving. ❤
@@Rolando_Cueva Many people talk about the Logos and they repeat the talking points about it, but fail to grasp the entirety of it. I've heard many people question why it is that God would be walking and talking with Satan as if God shouldn't be doing that. Logically though it makes perfect sense. He isn't just having a regular conversation with him, he is doing battle. When Yeshua wandered in the wilderness for 40 days the same thing happened there. Matt 4:1-11, Luke 4:1-13. Satan came and used scripture to try and make Yeshua abandon his mission and Yeshua fought with him by doing the same, reciting scriputre.

Easier to throw it to the curb simply because the major claims are untrue. Jesus did not rise from the dead. The Abrahamic God did not create the universe.
100% agree brother. There's nothing we can say or do to change people's minds. Only prayer works. I have become aware of a basic fact recently too: the people we love that we pray for, God loves them more than we do (as U kind of alluded to). I try to remind Him of that (like He needs the reminder from me 😂)
I am not an atheist. I believe there is a god or gods. I simply do not trust any of them because time and time again they have proven to be more interested in playing mind games with us, than actually help solving our probblems.
Similar conclusion to mine on God. He's either directly or indirectly dangerous. I began recognizing surviving in his reality is horrifying while studying history alongside the Bible for years. I'm certain God/all the spiritual beings scriptures speak of exists... but, unfortunately for me and thousands of humans all throughout history, He along with spiritual entities may evidently be as freaky as nearly everything else he's created. I believe he exists undoubtedly, but considering freaky creatures in oceans, jungles, forests, etc were created from his mind; the Creator God scares me more than hell. That fact that hell is his default end goal is frightening too the deeper you investigate. All of creation, regardless of how corrupted by Satan and ruined due to years of God's absence from Earth is still horrifying. I don't trust him and being stuck in his reality honestly leaves me horrified.

I am a very rare case, because of my personality disorders my spiritual eyes flip on, off, on, off. So when it's off, the Bible doesn't make sense and I start to doubt my faith and nothing seems logical or make sense. When they are on, it seems like I understand every part of the Bible I read enough that I am very satisfied with my level of understanding... When doing a deep dive in how the Bible was developed, written, translated, changed, the contents in the Bible do not purport with reality. The gospels were written about 30 years after said events occurred which produces many problems. The magic claimed all over the Bible does not hold up to reality bc magic has not been demonstrated and therefore can’t be claimed that it exists. On the morality topic, there are both good and bad principles of morality in the Bible. The famous treat others as you would like to be treated proceeds the Bible. Additionally countless verses in the Bible indisputably endorse slavery (Exodus 21, Leviticus 25), genocide (the flood in Genesis that killed babies, animals, and everything else except for 8 people, the Exodus when God ordered the killing of all first borns. The Bible said thou shalt not kill but then immediately give’s commandments to kill such as killing people who picks up sticks on the sabbath, nonbelievers, homosexuals, etc. The Bible forces rape victims to marry their rapists. It tells woman not to speak nor have authority in the church. Woman are sold into slavery at half price. You can pass your slaves down through generations. You do not need the Bible to tell you what is right and what is wrong to be a good person and a productive member of society. What you mentioned here in the video about people not wanting to have an authority over them as a reason to not believe, that isn’t a good reason to not believe. People should definitely be called out for that. The point you should emphasize is that this does not apply to all non believers. Testimonies are not a strong form of evidence and the research indicates various flaws from testimonies based on memory, wishful thinking, etc. The religious often count the hits and ignore the misses. If you survived a car accident you may claim god saved you but if someone dies in a car accident, God works in mysterious ways, he was ready for them, etc. If God is the answer to both saving you and not sparing you from a car accident, how can you test whether a God was responsible for it at all let alone your specific God? The Christian God was not even mentioned or practiced, or even thought of yet for a substantial portion of human history before it finally emerged. There were thousands of Gods that were practiced and worshiped prior to Yahweh even being proposed as a potential God to worship. Then when he was finally introduced to society, it was in a time where it was a death penalty to not believe in him. Because other Gods were created and worshiped before and after Yahweh, the Bible made it a death penalty to worship other Gods as a fear tactic for adherence. Given these historical implications and lack of evidence for the thousands of Gods proposed before Christianity and it’s God, and the fact that the Bible has had portions taken out and altered as late as the 1600s, (that’s over a century and a half of adaptations and the original copy doesn’t even exist anymore along with that language), the Bible is not a reliable pathway to understand reality and not a realizable source.
I didn't notice any sync problems. But I'll give you a tip from my editing days. This is how it was explained to me. Light travels faster than sound, so we naturally see the action before we hear the sound. If the voice seems to be out of sync, try lagging the audio 1 or 2 frames after the mouth opens in the video. Thank you for putting out this video. God bless you for sharing these insights.
It wasn't until a few months ago that God was showing me how to actually be saved. And it wasn't until, another few months ago, that Jesus Himself told me that I am saved. By putting my faith in Jesus, I also repented of my sins. Through my faith, I am forgiven. Through my faith, with Jesus as my Savior, I now have the liberty to do works of righteousness without worrying about my salvation. I was believing on my works alone, and believing that my works had to be with my faith. I now understand that it is by God's grace alone, through my faith alone, through Christ alone. I am still capable of sinning, but I am still a believer in Christ. After all, He died for my sins as much as He died for yours.
That’s all well said! Salvation is a gift from God and has nothing to do with our works. What was it like when Jesus told you that you were saved? What happened?

I will check these guys out, thank you for the suggestion. When you saying I speak in a fundamentalist sense with regards to understanding the scripture, what do believe is the proper way to interpret scripture and why? Do you disagree with the points I have discussed in this video?
@brushfire Some of it, yes. I do think scriptural hermeneutics are important, as the parts define the whole as the whole defines the parts. I've found there are always disagreements between theologians concerning first principles as well as critical nuances. Such a slippery endeavor to rightly "divide the word" as it were. As someone who is ethnically Jewish but Christian in faith I've found much about the biblical canon doesn't add up to a narrative that ought to be read sequentially as if it's all consistent and in agreement, this is to suggest that not everything in the bible is true and meant to be there. There have been edits. It's all very much a bit convoluted throughout because of the contradictions. But I would say that we've been given means, which are beyond the bible to help us navigate the task, but a man will only go mad trying to reconcile the canon as if it all fits together as the only proper worldview. And I've never met one who "only speaks the word" or believes only what is contained in the bible. The gospel, and I'm certain about this, is universal salvation in Christ, so yes I'm saying it's not this binary final destination narrative of " ...it's either an eternity of heaven or an eternity of hell, and the only way to have fire insurance is to say you'll grovel at the feet of 'uncle Jesus'.. " I can prove this in literally every way. It's air tight, whereas the mental positions of eternal conscious torment and annihilationism are both false. There is a ton involved to unpack this issue, but if you start questioning this, you'll come to the same conclusion as long as you're intellectually honest. The issues of the common beliefs around "Hell" among much of the other pilpul to uphold views that always end up being anti-Jesus and opposed rather than supporting the gospel. And that's why I could tell you're under the impressions of the common doctrines that are misinformed, as I can hear in the implicit tonality as well by a few explicit statements, by these admissions in your video here (and being honest is the only one I've seen and listened to of yours yet) that you've witnessed what many pastors and speakers have repeated. The erroneous views are not your fault as the journey of faith requires a search for context. Unfortunately, so many more have seriously perverted the gospel rather than preserve and hand down a relatively correct meaning of it, as it's entirety is rather ineffable, but the basic meaning penetrates, as we sort of behold the mystery, as it were. I've found between the span of orthodoxy to the Presbyterians, to "non-denominational" Christians, to 7th-day Adventists, all the way to dispensationalists and Hebrew roots views, etc. Etc. All of these have been majoring in the minors, unfortunately. I never am ceased to be amazed by how wrong so many have this whole thing. I could really go on and on. And please don't think I'm on a mission to "fault find" these Christians, to say the they're not at all Christians, for often indeed many people have degrees of Holy inspiration and speak some manner of truth. For it is not my intention to only call out the issues, as critical thinking is all about suggesting the solution to problems and the general answer to all despair. It is the gospel. And the gospel is the solution to all problems, that they've are already for all times and matters been solved in Christ, a fulfilled condition. For this basic message and fact is that His being is constantly transcending duality and our senses of separation and injustice that so deeply trouble our psychēs. That the gospel is to get above the program of evil and trying to bring justice to a world that only the Holy One can convert to justice. Really, Zoē (True Life) has always been readied for all of creation, and Jesus is not only the savoir of humanity but of the cosmos as well. So I really hope, and it is my prayer, that you take a well educated and testing approach in tandem with a properly mystical insightfulness approach with all things in the world as well as the biblical studies. Please remember these coming statements from me, for if anything is opposed to the gospel, regardless of what time it came up, it is by some matter of degrees false and deceptive, for the Truth, the Way and the Life has always been the same for all time, for the Truth transcends these false senses of time. The Truth is the same yesterday, this day and onto the ages. Remember this, just because logic can syllogistically compute as true within some parameters that can be conceived that doesn't mean particular "truths" (like truths of matters) ever overcome universal truths, and Christ is the most parabolically and infinitesimally comprehensive of all truths ever revealed, and how we've witnessed the remnants of His conception is the greatest answer to have ever appealed to the human mind. Be well, my brother! I hope you find my suggestions and thoughts helpful on your quest for more context, as we don't fully arrive until the eschaton. - YQA
You claim that atheists don’t want to be responsible for their own actions, yet the whole point of Christianity is get out of jail free card where you put all your punishments on an innocent man? I feel like you are just projecting at this point. I am a fully grown adult capable of making my own decisions and I gladly welcome any just punishment for my actions.
@@SpongeMann I can’t say one way or the other, I don’t think our minds are capable of having knowledge on what an ethics system would be like for a non physical being. If god was physical, there is no way to hurt him so him punishing us in any way is not just. But we just don’t know.
I am sorry that you have been mislead to believe that the whole point of Christianity is a get out of jail free card. I see nothing comparable to that analogy in the scriptures or words of Jesus. I can understand the perspective you're bringing because that is more or less what "cultural Christianity" says. Jesus calls and invites all people to follow Him. He demonstrates that by practicing the way of life He calls us to, one can become a person of love. In the Kingdome of God, love is the ultimate currency. Jesus teaches to deny yourself and your fleshly desires so that you can grow in the spirit, through practice, meditation, and prayer. Jesus lived a life that sets the example of what true humanity is, ultimately concluding with sacrificial love, dying for the sins of all who will put their trust and faith in what He has done. Jesus calls us to repent from out sins so that we can be free from the weight and bondage it creates in our life. He calls us to trust in Him so the Spirit of God can lead us in life towards the healing of our souls through love. Through out life, we have all done wrong towards ourselves and others. Jesus is the Way and the ultimate answer to all those wrongs.
@@brushfire my comment was about me facing punishment, which I am willing to do. Can you respond to that? Why are you willing to put all your punishments into an innocent man? My point still stands that Christianity is a get out of jail free card. All of your sins are forgiven except the “guilt” you have, but that just lasts until you get to heaven. You are just describing what a get out of jail free card is. Just wait a couple more years and without you doing anything, you have eternity with God while the rest of us burn in hell.

The book is not to be taken literally the vail is on your heart when you read it literally(2 Corinthians 3:15)its a spiritual book. The kingdom of heaven is within you(luke17:21)
That is not what 2 Corinthians 3 is talking about. None of that interpretation is contextually or literally correct. You can believe what you want, but God does intend for us to take him at his word. Its blasphemy to attribute falsehoods to God. You are in the flesh, your understanding is blinded by your flesh. The Word of God exists to draw your flesh closer to the spirit so you can understand God. If you go about trying to interpret God without taking the Bible literal (within historical and grammatical context) you will be guilty of Romans 1:22-23 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, (23)And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. (25) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
@CalvinRammel-oz3yv You are 100% right bro..Do not listen carnal people that knows only what pope or their local pastor told them. And its not Paul that spoke of that. Paul is just expending on Jesus and His teaching.. John 5:39 / No life ... 5 : 40 / Man need to come to Jesus ... Only way is to hear and learn from the Father..John 6 : 45 Here literal... But suddenly it will not be literal ,but out of the context ... Untaught clowns...Believing in God,and thinking He is not able to speak..Because they believe in a mute idol, but professing to be wise..

I notice some logical fallacies in your argument, and I’d like to understand better. From my perspective, the Bible doesn’t lead me to see God the way you do. When you say that those who don't believe simply don’t understand, it comes across as dismissive because it assumes that disbelief is due to a lack of understanding of your viewpoint. Could you clarify what you mean by that? I’m not trying to be rude-I’m genuinely interested in understanding where you’re coming from.
He is saying that the spirit of God is what helps him understand. Simply reading the words of the bible will prove futile. Pray, and ask God to guide you.
What do you do when you are under severe Demonic attacks. Not the Amityville Horror type. But the type JESUS mentions. My human body is too weak to fight this and my depression is more severe than ever.
I am sorry to hear that you are dealing with this. Keep your eyes focus on the Lord and continue to strengthen yourself daily with the Word. The Word of God is our weapon, and as a born again Christian, you have the power and authority of the Spirit dwelling within you. "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Hi, my main issue is that I believed in God and Jesus and considered myself Christian. However recently, I’ve been undergoing hindering intellectual doubts on God. For example thought processes on evolution or how the world was created. Any tips on how to gradually move away from these distracting thoughts and actually to Believe God properly. I also need to work on believing The Word as well. I could overthink, but yeah… anyway just a rant. The thing is I see the amount of changes in people lives after accepting Christ but then it’s like 😭😅 God bless :)
Just let it go. It isn't true. Here's one way to know. Ask yourself how God created anything. Don't ask 'if'. Ask 'How'. Turns out you don't know how the universe was created. Someone told you 'God did it', and that was the end of your questioning. The fact is, you don't know and neither does anyone else. 'I don't know' is the only honest answer.
LOL. maybe it's because of all the inconsistencies, contradictions and hypocrisy? Not to mention the claims that magic and the supernatural are true. Also the assertions that slayvery is acceptable and allowed. Also, also it's because there has never been any credible evidence to support what it claims. That may be the reasons also, right?
I would not deny that they experienced something but I would ask a lot of questions. All religions make a truth claim. Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, etc. Each one claims that through their teaching, you can reach nirvana, heaven, enlightenment and so forth. Therefore all religions contradict one another and are wrong, or one is true and the rest are false. All religions outside of Christianity essentially state that you can work your way towards God/heaven whereas Christianity teaches that God has come to you. Based on the reliability of the Bible and the life, practices and prophetic fulfillment demonstrated by Jesus, through his death and resurrection, as well as the writings of the disciples and church fathers, it is the most reliable of claims. Islam can not exist with out Christianity, Mormonism can not, Jehovah's Witness can not, and so forth. These all rely on Christianity but then distort the message, they are false. I would believe that many people from other religions have experiences and revelations but these are from demonic spirits creating deception. That is why there are so many other religions and practices (like witchcraft or Vudu). There is legitimate power and experiences behind these practices but that does not mean they are the truth and it does not mean they can save you from your sins. I would then point them towards these verses: - 1st John 4:1-3 "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already." - Galatians 1:7-9 "there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed."
in 1 corinthians chapter 15 paul claimed that jesus apeared to him but in acts chapter 9 its says he saw a bright light and heard a voice and in acts chapter 22 i says he saw a light and heard a voice
The most important thing if you are willing to seek the truth, ask Yeshua Himself. Ask God. I promise you it will be revealed to you if you're ready. I have been chosen and a lot of truth has been exposed. I make sure I still pray to God. Don't leave the Most High alone.
What peeps don’t get is that it’s God’s choice who He brings to faith and when, it’s not up to us. Like the scripture says, “the natural mind is not subject to God, NOR CAN BE!”….how about “God hardened their hearts and blinded their minds” ring a bell?…or…”it’s not up to the one who wills or works, but God who shows mercy”. At the end of the day, we are God’s workmanship, like clay, and He forms and reforms us exactly as He wills, but some of you will say, “Why does God still find fault, because who has resisted His will?”😊❤
@@xXEGPXx Haha, I told you that you’d say that😄. I knew you’d say that because our apostle Paul told us that’s what peeps will say when confronted with God’s absolute sovereignty! But anyway, thankfully Jesus already “saved” everyone(1 Tim. 4:9-11, Rom. 5:12-18, 1 Cor. 15:21-28), it’s only a matter of WHEN you’ll be remade perfected and immortal by our Lord Jesus. Our Lord conquered death for everyone bro, so that all mankind will live again. In case you’re interested, Paul is your apostle(Romans through Philemon) and it’s good to be established in the truth according to the understanding that the risen Christ gave to Paul to give to the nations. Grace and peace to you🙂
John 12:32 "And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself." My experience was simply to say. Jesus, if you are tue living god, is you are real, I need to you to please reveal yourself to me. After that, I could then start to understand the bible. The veil was lifted. John 6:37, 39 (NIV) is incorreclt interpreted as indicating we have no choice on this but this is not true. In the moment we look at the cross and open our hearts to christ in repentance then we are sealed. "All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away." And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day."
@xXEGPXx I can not prove that no. So can't you prove that there is no god. But yes, no one can prove that the bible is truth. Now, to prove that something is truth is not the same as the idea that something is true. Truth is not dependent on you figuring it out. That being said, the bible has reasonable evidence for one to place their faith in it, but it is really a matter of faith and no one here can rationally prove a hundred percent it is true. Biblically, no one can convince you. That being said, why don't you try. Ask god, this jesus, if you are real, reveal yourself, please. You won't regret it.
what I don't understand is why God blinds certain people. We don't know his ways but I don't understand why he doesn't just open everyone's eyes. Is it their fault? The Bible says he hardened pharaoh's heart. Sounds like Pharaoh didn't have a choice.
The bible couldn't get around the fact that some people will never believe in God because he never shows himself. So God must've "blinded" them otherwise God would seem incompetent.
@jimskim8568 Thank you for your replies to others throughout this comment section. I noticed you were addressing a lot of the skeptics and people making outlandish claims, and you were respectful and true. I appreciate your efforts.
Ok, while i understand the comfort part of your argument. It still doesnt make sense as to why god instructs genocide in the bible Deuteronomy 20:16-17 Deut 22:28-29 why is a rapist marrying his victim? Deuteronomy 21 18 21 why is a kid being stoned to death, for not following instructions? There are several contradictions, and messed up passages, and this is all the word of god. Whatever argument you have for this, id love to research
I'm an atheist. I'll comment before and after this video. Before watching, the reason I don't believe in the Bible is the same reason I don't believe in the Quran, the Upanishads, the Poetic Edda, or the Odyssey. I understand them in their historical context, but they're a blend of myths and legends. I don't see Jesus's claims of divinity as any more accurate than Julius Caesar or Kim Il-Sung.
I definitely understand your stance and where you come from. I was an agnostic. Definitely a cultural Christian but I never followed anything biblical nor did I read. I actually fell in love with a Jehovah witness. I made an attempt to disprove her faith and I succeeded in dismantling the Jehovah Witness doctrines. But some of what I learned shook me. Me and my now ex-Jehovah Witness Wife are Protestant Christians. A lot of my faith was found outside of the Bible. For example, there is roughly 4,500 times more evidence of the existence of Jesus than there was for Caesar. The historicity of Jesus is mind boggling. He is the single most significant figure to ever exist regardless on your stance of him. The Romans often referred to him as a sorcerer because many Roman’s witnessed and reported some of his miracles. My recommendation is research the evidence of the historicity of the resurrection specifically. This one event is paramount. If you you’re willing to delve deep enough to read a couple of books or just do a deep dive into UA-cam openly. I accidentally stumbled into faith through evidence of the resurrection itself. Once I did that, I took a far more open look at the Bible and it was mind blowing. Regardless of your beliefs, I want you to know that I will pray for you. I truly care for your wellbeing and I hope you find peace and comfort, but more importantly, I hope one day you can find faith in Christ as I have. You may not feel it now, but Christ loves you right now is in this very moment. He is a shepherd and he rejoices more over 1 lost sheep making it back to his flock than he does 99 sheep that were never lost in the first place. I never knew how lost I was but I’ve found complete peace in my life. I wish you the best!!!
@@TheHondarider35924yes that is so true. I for one was ignorant at an early age though i was enrolled on a private sda school till i was on the 1st grade. At times i do get convicted (especially at 4th and 5th grade) to turn to Christ and say Jesus is God, i do believe it and say it but brushing if off after. I had a classmate at elementary (he is a devout Roman Catholic) he had parents who really acknowledge God and have faith, at an early age he wants to be a priest. In my life i do not have those kind of parents, i do wish i could've but there is a reason. They just identify as Roman Catholic but do jot really acknowledge Him, so it is a struggle for me jot knowing God and having a relationship with Him. Got serious once i finally get myself to buy an esv (i do believ the Holy Spirit gave me the thought to just try reading it) and i fell in Love with Jesus. It is truly amazing as I prayed and trusted Him when I was hospitalized (and operated 2 times almost got into icu again) got out and months later ( august 2023) bought a bible and hot more and more on interest. I am 15 and God Loves you (who is reading this) and me. God saved me countless times at death, (icu at birth, nearly struck but lightning with my dog, nearly got hit by a truck when i was a toddler getting out to the road, drowning) im serious this happened to me but God save me as He has a plan for everyone.
The biggest reason many deny the bible is because of the theory of evolution and its explanation of the fossils and how they came to be in the earth. Basically history. Not refuting it and the church if it had would not only be destroyed but the same gospels and letters all matching the same chapter and verse. The number system added in for people to be able to find the same spot in the same book and then yes finding some small spelling errors and a sentence in some documents but the fact can overlap then on top of each other and nothings missing or added through time. Showing a story through time of Jesus at the will of the father who was to also enter creation who is the tree of life in garden of eden but only having his spiritual form not his terrestrial body which he gained at his virgin birth made all of creation and just as in genesis when there was mist then the earth to make Adam. He showed he was god by spitting in the earth to rub the mixture on a deaf man literally reenacting the original conditions when Adam was made. Showing he is god and tons of other examples showing the three parts of god. How they work together and how they are also seperate from each other in design nature and purpose and yet are all from and part of the exact same being that is creator of everything. And why they the messiah has both natures and why we are not. But also how we fit in. With sin being the difference and why we got seperated from god.

PIN THIS! The angels sees good and bad as two glasses of water, the good and virtous glass of water brings peace and harmony however the bad and sinfull glass of water brings destruction both for themselves spiritually and mentally but others around them so its basically poison, angels sees the good and bad like this however we humans are cursed so we cannot be as logical as angels towards good and bad, the good and bad would be like simple water for good and our favorite drink for bad, most of us would prefer our favorite drink over the basic water in our everyday life, well that's how good and bad works for the cursed humanity but you surely know how humanity was cursed and if you dont then dont worry cuz im about to explain it simply, basically Adam and Eve were the first humans but God created their souls first then their physical body that they went in, they were in a garden but God told them to not eat the fruit of a specific tree but they didn't obey but their souls are pure and virtuous but they ate the fruit when they were in their physical body so its the physical body that got the curse and thats why the humanity is cursed so it means all their physical bodies but not the souls so we got a virtous soul and a sinfull body inside of us and our mind are basically the one using the freewill to either do the good of the soul or bad of the body you might think that having the whole humanity cursed cuz of them is unfair but they are the first of their kind and if their physical body is cursed and bad and their soul virtous and good then their kids that are the human kind would have the same traits, a virtous soul and a sinfull flesh however most people prefer the darkness over light just like the example i gave upside, the good is like a simple and basic healthy water but the bad is like our favorite drink cuz we are cursed Adam had a mind that the holyspirit created and soul that was created by God the father, the father was the one that created his whole personality and traits plus he writed it down in the tree of life already but Jesus was the one who created a physical body for him and that's the same body that got corrupted cuz Adam ate the fruit that God told him to not eat so you can agree that adam had a mind and soul that went in his physical body cuz his physical body was not created yet so its separate entities bringed up together making him in the image and likeness of God but now his soul is still virtuous, his mind got the freewill and his body is cursed and sinfull so his kids are exactly like him and his kids are us however the soul is naturally aligned with the biblical commandments and heanvely virtues and the body contradict it totally so to break the curse and overcome the flesh that is temporar and useless after death, you need to follow the commandments to align with your own soul so its like your mind is trying to turn on the light ( no longer aligning with your temporar body desires but trying to align with your soul desires so the eternal virtuous part of you ) btw image and likeness is a second nickname for the trinity, its basically having a mind soul and body like Jesus christ however those who have the holyspirit are the bodies of the trinity cuz the holyspirit live in their body and now take the control and guide you, that's how we do the will of God, God made us in his image and likeness so we make things in our own image and likeness aswell just like a door having (1) the outside (2) the inside (3) what is between (4) the three in one
I would suggest your talking to breakfasttacos (or so I think the name is for the atheist YT channel) and Alex O'Connor... But tbh the other one has actually felt the need for God... he seems to be yearning for a sign from the Lord...
I think one of the biggest things that's missing in the way Jesus is preached and American Christianity is that it is a separation between the Jews and the gentiles. A lot of it seems to stem from American. Gentile superiority replacement theology. When I listen to a lot of preachers, they just preach Jesus without any context, without any explanation as to why he said, the things that he said, what was the meaning behind what he said. And if you take it out of the o testament, you'll get a bigger understanding of who Jesus truly was and who he was to every. One and why he needed to come. But the way it's taught is that Jesus is just some guy. Poofed, aren't you the same and forgive your sins? And ask how it's taught today without any clear understanding of what all of that really means. It's more along the lines of cultural morality. Christianity, rather than a true understanding of who Christ really is. That's why you got a lot of evangelicals and Christians who say their Christians because they're good people. They hold to the 10 commandments. Dave, get hot-button issues and say we don't stand for they missed the point. Of Jesus Christ altogether. That's why a lot of people see the hypocrisy and the Christian faith in America.Because it's not based on true total Bilbo.Teaching and understanding is based on the moral superiority of christianity and that's it
Which Bible? A counterfeit or an inspired translation? The Word of God interprets the heart of the reader, if you're reading for truth, it'll reveal itself and build line upon line, precept upon precept. But if you're reading for the sake of proving something you preconceived as a notion, or for points of contention, you'll lead yourself into selectively seeing verses that seemingly contradict the message of the Bible. You can convincingly disprove anything in the Bible, convincingly prove things that not true with the Bible, and at the same time just as easily read the whole truth and believe the whole Bible without exception. The main points of conflict when interpreting is that the person trying to make a personal interpretation doesn't understand language itself and therefore will fill in blanks ignoring the actual literal meaning and contextual meaning of every word.
Idk, saying God just blinds us to the truth is kinda dismissive to any outside opinion or experience that goes against the bible. This is especially the case when there’s no way to show that God is doing that. I just think thats too black and white of an answer for defending a faith.
I am not trying to be dismissive of other religions or what people have experienced. For clarity, the verse I was quoting that says the “god” has blinded the unbelievers is referring to Satan having blinded people, not YHWH. I would not deny that people of other religions have experienced something but I would ask a lot of questions. All religions make a truth claim. These all rely on Christianity at their core but then distort the message, they are false for several additional reasons (failed prophecies, many contradictions, not historically accurate, only the founders of these religions were given a “sign”, etc.). I would believe that many people from other religions have experiences and revelations but these are likely from demonic spirits creating deception. That is why there are so many other religions and practices (like witchcraft or Vudu). This is why the first commandment is “You shall have no other gods before Me.” There is legitimate power and experiences behind these practices but that does not mean they are the truth and it does not mean they can save you from your sins. I would point others towards these verses: - 1st John 4:1-3 "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 👉20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 👈
21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things.

26For this cause God gave them up to vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

The gospel of Mark is how God began to reveal himself to me(I share the whole story in my testimony video uploaded to my channel if you want to hear more about it). It was an amazing experience when I encountered the Lord.

You are deceived.
That wasn't difficult at all. I expect you meant the one about leading a horse to water.

Anything real is greater than the imaginary Christian God.

@kellystone7501 You have missed the point entirely. If you can't believe in God then you can't believe in truth. I Know God is real and that Jesus lives and that he atoned for everyone's sins.

Well said

God does not exist to solve our problems. We all deserve hell, but God offers grace.

I don't know if God is allowing this for a (future) purpose, but I hope so!

How do you know?
I was once a fundamentalist who spoke very similarly to how you are now, but I've come a long way since then. I'm still a very faithful Christian but I'm going to recommend you to people like David Vose and Jordan D. Wood for more understanding of the actual gospel
Be well!
- Your Quality Apologist
I can prove this in literally every way.

So based off of this comment I’m gonna assume that you believe God would be justified in sending people to Hell, as he’s carrying out justice
@@brushfire I am down to have a 1 on 1 conversation, I think you’re misinformed on how atheists think.
I dont believe God speaks to us through ink and paul says not to be a minister of the letter because the letter killeth(2 Corinthians 3). Be of the spirit.
Amen.
Thank you for sharing this.
So then, God's acting is not literal?
@CalvinRammel-oz3yv
You are 100% right bro..Do not listen carnal people that knows only what pope or their local pastor told them.
And its not Paul that spoke of that. Paul is just expending on Jesus and His teaching..
John 5:39 / No life ... 5 : 40 / Man need to come to Jesus ... Only way is to hear and learn from the Father..John 6 : 45
Here literal... But suddenly it will not be literal ,but out of the context ... Untaught clowns...Believing in God,and thinking He is not able to speak..Because they believe in a mute idol, but professing to be wise..
@@oldtimelogic yes...thats if you lie to yourself...once yoh accept everything and let go of the ego or the thing that you try to show people...the mask that you create...you own your truth and you can get closer to God..the kingdom of heaven is within..and the book and the bible is God inspired but not written...this does not mean nothing in there isn't intelligible...Jesus's teachings were probably the most pivotal ones in there..theres just a lot of historical confusion amongst nations and people in the bible because the names were made for you not to know who they were..the bible is like a riddle as well if you're looking to know what really is the truth

Some people say "I don't believe in the Bible," not because they don't have evidence, but because they REFUSE to believe.
Why do you think you can speak for others?

The veil is real and thats why we dont have to be mad and try to shove it inside the head of unbelivers. God is so good tho because he will change their heart by us just showing the fruit of the spirit. Also he gives us spiritual gifts that makes it way easier to discern the World.
You might want to read the Bible before saying something about it.
I have my faith intact but I've been there. I understand why it's so hard to keep the faith because God is so silent. They're just pragmatic people. You can't keep saying you love someone but you never answer their calls or you just hide behind a tree and they can't even be sure you exist.

The flesh lusts against the spirit and the spirit lusts against the flesh. You will never understand the Bible in the flesh.
Hi, my main issue is that I believed in God and Jesus and considered myself Christian. The thing is I see the amount of changes in people lives after accepting Christ but then it’s like 😭😅
God bless :)
I'm a Christian and I believe in evolution to an extent. Who says that God couldn't have proctored evolution?
LOL. maybe it's because of all the inconsistencies, contradictions and hypocrisy? Not to mention the claims that magic and the supernatural are true. Also the assertions that slayvery is acceptable and allowed. Also, also it's because there has never been any credible evidence to support what it claims. That may be the reasons also, right?
”The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God” Psalm 14:1
Name 69 inconsistencies and get back to me.
@DizzyWhaleX Why 69? Shouldn't there need to be even 1 to show it's not inerrant?
@CoderOfBugs one stack plus five of netherrack. In all seriousness, I just picked a random number.
@@DizzyWhaleX How about I just make this simple and ask you to name ONE event from the babel that is NOT an inconsistency? Good luck.
what if someone from another relagion said they had a revelation about what they believe
I would then point them towards these verses:
- 1st John 4:1-3 "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already."
- Galatians 1:7-9 "there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.
Good stuff. Thank you 🙏
I appreciate it!
At the end of the day, we are God’s workmanship, like clay, and He forms and reforms us exactly as He wills, but some of you will say, “Why does God still find fault, because who has resisted His will?”😊❤
So god chooses, and if he does not choose me I burn in a lake of fire until the end of time. How is that fair exactly?

Salt & Light my friend
The green lamp on the chest you mean?
John 12:32
"And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself."
My experience was simply to say.
"All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away."
And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day."
Alright now prove the bible is reliable or useful, you cannot
@xXEGPXx I can not prove that no. So can't you prove that there is no god. But yes, no one can prove that the bible is truth. Now, to prove that something is truth is not the same as the idea that something is true. Truth is not dependent on you figuring it out.
That being said, the bible has reasonable evidence for one to place their faith in it, but it is really a matter of faith and no one here can rationally prove a hundred percent it is true.
Biblically, no one can convince you. That being said, why don't you try. Ask god, this jesus, if you are real, reveal yourself, please. You won't regret it.
@@ricardochiesa9829 The bible has exactly zero evidence for it, honest Christians will admit that
what I don't understand is why God blinds certain people.

Ok, while i understand the comfort part of your argument. It still doesnt make sense as to why god instructs genocide in the bible Deuteronomy 20:16-17
Deut 22:28-29 why is a rapist marrying his victim?
Some does not have ears to hear and eyes to see to understand, i invite you brother in Christ that we pray for those people that they may receive ears to hear and eyes to see.
However we can prove the flood happened by following the evidence matching what we see in the earth.

@@TheHondarider35924 by coincidence I ran across the accurate information in a picture chart I took a picture of so can copy the information off it for context.

Rest can read fine. 3 Sophocles oedicus rex 226 Sophocles plays 36 Taticus annals and last on chart is 188 Thucydides history.
And when base accuracy off of the amount of things to compare to by the eye witnesses and the people who witnessed his rise from the dead.
@Thehondarider35924 Beautiful response. I wish more Christians would respond to questioning, disbelief, etc. as you just have. The contempt and condescension I see from Christians, at least online, really saddens me, especially being so new to the faith.
PIN THIS! The angels sees good and bad as two glasses of water, the good and virtous glass of water brings peace and harmony however the bad and sinfull glass of water brings destruction both for themselves spiritually and mentally but others around them so its basically poison, angels sees the good and bad like this however we humans are cursed so we cannot be as logical as angels towards good and bad, the good and bad would be like simple water for good and our favorite drink for bad, most of us would prefer our favorite drink over the basic water in our everyday life, well that's how good and bad works for the cursed humanity
but you surely know how humanity was cursed and if you dont then dont worry cuz im about to explain it simply, basically Adam and Eve were the first humans but God created their souls first then their physical body that they went in, they were in a garden but God told them to not eat the fruit of a specific tree but they didn't obey but their souls are pure and virtuous but they ate the fruit when they were in their physical body so its the physical body that got the curse and thats why the humanity is cursed so it means all their physical bodies but not the souls so we got a virtous soul and a sinfull body inside of us and our mind are basically the one using the freewill
to either do the good of the soul or bad of the body
you might think that having the whole humanity cursed cuz of them is unfair but they are the first of their kind and if their physical body is cursed and bad and their soul virtous and good then their kids that are the human kind would have the same traits, a virtous soul and a sinfull flesh however most people prefer the darkness over light just like the example i gave upside, the good is like a simple and basic healthy water but the bad is like our favorite drink cuz we are cursed
Adam had a mind that the holyspirit created and soul that was created by God the father, the father was the one that created his whole personality and traits plus he writed it down in the tree of life already but Jesus was the one who created a physical body for him and that's the same body that got corrupted cuz Adam ate the fruit that God told him to not eat so you can agree that adam had a mind and soul that went in his physical body cuz his physical body was not created yet so its separate entities bringed up together making him in the image and likeness of God
but now his soul is still virtuous, his mind got the freewill and his body is cursed and sinfull so his kids are exactly like him and his kids are us however the soul is naturally aligned with the biblical commandments and heanvely virtues and the body contradict it totally so to break the curse and overcome the flesh that is temporar and useless after death, you need to follow the commandments to align with your own soul so its like your mind is trying to turn on the light ( no longer aligning with your temporar body desires but trying to align with your soul desires so the eternal virtuous part of you )
btw image and likeness is a second nickname for the trinity, its basically having a mind soul and body like Jesus christ however those who have the holyspirit are the bodies of the trinity cuz the holyspirit live in their body and now take the control and guide you, that's how we do the will of God, God made us in his image and likeness so we make things in our own image and likeness aswell just like a door having (1) the outside (2) the inside (3) what is between (4) the three in one
I would suggest your talking to breakfasttacos (or so I think the name is for the atheist YT channel) and Alex O'Connor... But tbh the other one has actually felt the need for God... he seems to be yearning for a sign from the Lord...
Trace this comment if you want to see bible prophecy from the Apostle John. ✝️
That's why a lot of people see the hypocrisy and the Christian faith in America.Because it's not based on true total Bilbo.Teaching and understanding is based on the moral superiority of christianity and that's it
I believe in God, I love God, and I've been born again, but I've researched the Bible too much to believe in it. The Bible is its own worst enemy.
Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, etc. Each one claims that through their teaching, you can reach nirvana, heaven, enlightenment and so forth. Therefore all religions contradict one another and are wrong, or one is true and the rest are false. Based on the reliability of the Bible and the life, practices and prophetic fulfillment demonstrated by Jesus, through his death and resurrection, as well as the writings of the disciples and church fathers, it is undeniably the most reliable of claims. Islam can not exist with out Christianity, Mormonism can not, Jehovah's Witness can not, and so forth.
I would point others towards these verses:
- 1st John 4:1-3 "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
