ANIMATED Vaporwave SUN Tutorial - After Effects

- This tutorial is showing a simple way to make an " EDM / Retro " style Sun / Moon In After Effects. In under 3:30. Its super fast and fun!
In Part 02, I show how you can thicken the top rows in the animation to mimic what I commonly see in this Retro EDM Pink and Electric Blue world.

to create each line custom.
would it be posible to do this with shape layers? Just for the venetian part, instead of using venetian blinds just create your own custom shapes.
Is it because you want something more then just straight lines?
Any alpha you feed it will work. So I think shape layers should be fine. Anything that’s repetitive will work best.

i just thought it would be kind of cool to do it manually, instead of a plugin creating it for me if that makes sense. But thank you for the tut.
I hate you the Venetian blinds should be in AE CC by default. I try to make sure to not use something you have to buy so you can recreate it anywhere.
But for sure! You could even just download a black and what stripe pattern lol. I tried using rotos but I dint like how manual it was.

absolutely a bad tutorial, i can't see the mouse, i always need to go back and see where ur typing.. and it seems ur picking options sometimes from windows that don't show up on the recording, to whoever is new to the program i'm sure he can't follow those instructions, such as "go ahead and grab ur mask, mask off by half of it" (and u actually see nothing on screen happening) @ 5:22 :P go figure.. what is mask where is mask and where is the option to set it at 50% :P and this is only ONE example from this video..
