Given that we're also getting some Eldar Corsairs, it might be neat to see a similar kitbash using those and the Dark Elf Corsairs from Age of Sigmar. They're both pirates, after all.
I did just that with Kabalite warriors, its amazing how well they go together.
Why not just use Drukhari bits, they are pirates, i mean "The pirate lords of Commoragh" lol
I think a guide to making custom genestealer cults would be amazing! I hate how every cult is just miners and stuff, it would be amazing to see variations in designs!
I feel like using Necromunda stuff as a hive populace could be a good starting point. They'd also maybe work for custom Poxwalkers or Cultists for Chaos.
I've been thinking about a genestealer of aeldari for some time.
Like gsc heralds picked humans, but what if they wanted to assimilate Eldar or ork or summat
I've wanted to see a conversion of genestealer cults into chaos cultists, with possessed cult members taking the place of genestealers, beastmen abhumans taking the place of abberants and so on.
mixing the admech to make bladed cog gsc is way too easy. my acolytes have kataphron breacher arms instead of their rock cutters.
@Del S genestealers meet House Delacque. An underground union of subterfuge. Also, that flesh tearing gang torsos would fit genestealers well.

Man! Kitbashes like this make me so happy! These look to me like, if some craftworld eldar lived on a planet permanently and therefor got rid of some of the space suit astetic. Really great job!

Very cool. The Lumineth look to owe a lot to the art style of Moebius. The Bullheaded Helmets could look cool with the Bullheads cut off them, and the tops filled flat or domed. This looks to be a rich vein of bitz to be mined for cool Craftworld/Exodite conversions. Thanks for another interesting video. The freehand skull face is very nicely executed.
The Morbius reference to eldar is a good observation.

One of the things that always interested me about 40k were alien genestealers. It never made sense that a whole subspecies of the tyranids can only ever work on humans. What happens when a genestealer cult takes on the T'au populace? What about ork genestealers, (or "greenstealers.") Wouldn't taking elements of the ork genealogy be useful to the hive as a whole somewhere down the line, even if not for full scale infiltration?
Not sure about the other races, but I think it's canon that Orks can easily detect GS and usually kill them.
Most races have biological or psychic measures. Orks can tell who's not greenskin enough, the powerful Aeldari psychic network detects mutants almost instantly, T'au tech basically insta-scans them as a threat, etc. Ork Genestealers were a thing before, the Genestealer Patriarch basically has to catch one of these races in a group outside of society, like Kommandos, Corsairs, etc.
@@lightningwolf788 Aye, in the Ciaphas Cain novel "The Emperor's Finest", Cai and Jurgen essentially find themselves on a space hulk where a band of unsuspecting Orks are gettin' leeched off by a Tyranid hive, having some of their number become genestealers while the rest are omnom'd. There are two types of stealthy Orks: Purple Orks, and Ork genestealers - those frakkers don't even "WAAAGH"!
Ork genestealers used to be a line in the earlier days of Warhammer, before Tau, that is.
I like these, they give off an Exodite vibe to them.
These kits seem to work really well together, which is always nice to see
I'm currently working on a Void Dragon conversion from the Necrons, I wanted to make it more Dragon-like and I'm looking to use the bits from the new Dragon stuff for the Stormcasts.

I've always had a soft spot for the eldar since they were my first 40k army, before orks. I recently got back into their lore along with a bunch of lumineth on sprue still. I may have to do this.
There's a tiny bit crossover in the shapes you find in tyranids and necrons. I'd love to see a bunch of mechanised tyranids!

Something that could be done also is filing away the crescent on the breastplate to leave a flat surface for an Eldar Craftworld symbol! Would take the model to the next level and make it less like a Lumineth in space.
I would love to see how you'd go about kitbashing some Farsight Enclaves Tau, given their lore I want to kitbash mine to be more rough and thrown together looking, and I'd be fascinated to see what you would do!
With new Tyranid codex just around the corner it'd be great to see your take on the parasite of mortrex!

These conversions are really amazing, for the 2nd minis' head you could've used also Tamiya's putty, I use it in my conversions and it's incredibly good for filling little gaps.
Kitbashes/conversions for the aspect warriors who are still only available in finecast would be awesome.
I'm thinking of using this conversion idea, or one very similar, as the basis for a small force of Eldar Exodites. Thanks for this!

those eldar look like the eldar from the lost craftworld Zaisuthra with the high collar and coat as detailed in the book Rise of the Ynnari: Ghost Warrior

Impressive kit-bash - Due to my complete lack of knowledge about the AOS Elf factions (and only sort of knowledge about the Eldar factions), if you hadn't told me this was kitbashed, I would probably never have known. Great work, and great match-up of styles.

I'm tempted to use the Wardens and Storm Guardian parts for Warlock conversion rather than the Sentinels.
The shields and pike would be good for the main frame of a banner, could chop that tip and use the hilts of the sheathed swords from the Wardens to make 10 swords, always nice to have some on hand so you don't need to cut a hand off to get one.
I would love to see something similar with the Drukhari from 40K and the Dark Aelves/Daughters of Khaine in AoS. Keep up the good work!

I did less work on the neck, I clipped it at the collar, then clipped the helmet neck off completely

A conversion I've always wanted to do, but haven't gotten around to it is a Space Vampire black and white tv retro army. Counts as Imperial Guard. Zombie guardsmen with bubble helmets and antenna, monkey robots with no heads, and a vampire in a rediculous merge of scifi for the times and vampire outfit.
Fantastic models! Do you know if the Sentinel’s bodies respond well to the shuriken catapults? I’m thinking of making a full exodite guardian squad this way!
I feel like the various Elven Bloodbowl teams could be used to make some great Eldar or Dark Eldar builds. They have wonderful animated posses and some of the other teams could probably make good cultists or necromunda gangs. I think I just want to see what you could do with them in general.

I'd love to see some corrupted raptors from the horus heresy, from when alpha legion tainted the gene-seed of the raven guard, making corrupted but loyal space marines. you could give bird mutations to the raptors like what they look like in the dornian heresy or what is depicted to happen to Corax after entering the warp
I saw Raptors and thought "the horus hersey had dinosaurs?"
These look fab and a great alternative Craftworld conversion scheme. It now brings to mind a suggestion: Could you try and kit bash in some Wood Elf (Syvaneth for the newer range or else Wood Elves for the older ranges) and Eldar models? (Exodites!!!)

I'm planning on getting some Guardians to paint as Varantha, given that they're a craftworld of artisans i feel like this conversion could work well for them too

Looks great, the Dark Reaper is my favorite out of the three. As for suggestions I'd like to see your take on the Black Dragons or some other more obscure marine chapters.
Other suggestion I have is about making really ornate characters, like a veteran that has lot of personalized things on them.
are they on the bigger standard bases that Marines are on? They look like they really fill them up. Fantastic conversions as always.
Not a fan of the goofy look of the new dark reapers but you've made it look amazing!
I've recently started collecting Thousand Sons, and it's got me thinking what a unit of Rubrics would look like if kitbashed to primaris (or what I would consider 'true scale' space Marines given the size differential to regular humans). Would be a pretty tricky conversion as the Rubric armor is quite ornate. It makes absolutely 0 sense from a lore standpoint but would still be a really cool project

Hi Pete, I do actually have a xenos 'challenge' conversion for you. It's one that I'd like to do myself, but I don't have an Eldar army, so I can't justify the cost.
The idea is to take an Eldar Wraith Knight and make it articulated, with the help of an RG EVA 01 Bandai kit. The RG kit has an entire inner frame that you can glue the Wraith Knight parts onto.
Obviously it's not quite so simply, there's a lot of hollowing out that needs to be done on the WK parts.
Additionally there's a ton of EVA armor parts that you can use for other projects. I understand if you think it's too much work and too fiddly, but I'd appreciate to hear what you think about the idea at least. I don't know how familiar you are with Bandai model kits, but they don't need glue, it's all push fit and if you haven't tried one, it'll blow your mind just how good their assembly is.

How about an Exodite Conversion (If you didn't do one already and I missed it). So, I would do: Lizardmen Dinosaurs, Wood Elf bodys and Aeldari Weaponry.
