It was really cool to see you build the models. I'm quite new to warhammer so I never even thought about changing the poses or cutting of pieces of the models. Really fun video and I've gotten a lot of inspiration

Amazing kit bashing skills Tom! I especially love the one that looks like a predator (1.59) with the cannon on the shoulder, spear and wrist blade! Can't wait to see the finished outcome!
@@SlayerMiniatures Decided to focus on my Necrons instead! SC = Start Collecting. New Combat Patrol is admittedly better for new Eldar players but if you want pure Wraiths the SCs were great.
@@liamhobbs1401 oh! My bad! Yes I did buy up a few before the new combat patrols came out :) they are a good mix of units. I'm all about the wraiths though ha!
@@SlayerMiniatures touche my good sir. Banter aside one of my friends is starting an Aeldari army and I thought this would serve as some fantastic inspiration for him, keep up the great work 😊
Really cool, I recommend messing around with the forge world sprues on the wraithseer's base to make them fit the grimdark style you're going for e.g. cracks & breaks onto other parts of the base, rebar etc.
I have a 3d printer. So I too am finally making the army of my dreams. My first is 3rd Platoon. A group of guardsman from Armagendon that were in my rouge trader game, reinforced by the Demarian PDF. My next dream army I'm printing out is the Children of Kain. An Eldar army like yours. They are from a fallen craftworld that gave their soals to Kailanencha Kain. They now wonder the webway as ghosts, fuild by the seating hatred and pain that the craftworld felt in its last moments. They are primarily made up of Howling Benches, Dark Reapers, and Wraith Lords. Thier armor now raw wraith bone, the paint and jewels now faded, seeking bloody vengeance on the galaxy for its cruelty. That is the buity of the world we live in now. Weather plastic or 3d printed resin and filament the army we dream of as children finaly take to the field. To tell their story of Gory, and Sorow. Keep it up! I cant wait to see where this army of yours goes.
That's such a cool origin story. I love making a story for the models in my head. It helps me when I'm painting and kitbashing. I don't have a 3d printer yet. I'll get one soon and start finding alternative armies to print. Enjoy your printing and painting!
@@SlayerMiniatures I think my favorite is the Wraith Knight with the wrist mounted blades. It looks so bad ass like it means business. I would not like to be on the receiving end. We Ad Mech players have nothing like that. I think Aeldari will be the next army I start collecting next year. I absolutely love the idea of Harlequins as well as the Wraith Guard/Blade and the Wraith Knights. Maby a Wraith Seer to start. Again great video.
@@jameslowrance4849 I think that one is my favourite too. Or the sniper? Hmm. The eldar codex is great as it has the rules for harlequins too, and rules for wielding both at the same time. The wraiths units are so cool. I'd recommend a Wraithlord first. They are super cheap on ebay, they are good in the game too, and the base of a Wraithseer! Enjoy 😀
@@SlayerMiniatures I was had a wraithseer, several units of wraith guard in wave serpents a farsser and wraith er singer? And a couple of Wraithlords and a Wraith Knight.

It's crazy how much they charge. Nearly all of this army is from ebay. The wraithseers aren't. Of my 8 Wraithknights I think 2 were bought from shops by me. The rest were bought for super cheap on ebay. Maybe 35 each? They required stripping of paint and rebuilding but I found that fun too!
Bopety, bapety, boop! 300k subs and patreon goal reached! oh, didn't work it's just +1 sub. Sorry Tom, you really deserve it, I dont understand how you dont have way more subs, because similar channels do managed this, while your results, techniques and video's are the best around on youtube. Maybe its worth pondering over why the almighty youtube algoriths isn't as favorable for you?
Thanks Vilmore. I'm pretty new to youtube still, only been doing it a year or so. One huge thing that helps the algorithm is regular video releases. Hopefully this year I can release more often and the channel should grow from there! Tell your friends ha
Yeah! Guard and Lords are elites, knights are lords of war and can fit in a super heavy detachment. You would need a hq though which is why i have the Spiritseers
@@SlayerMiniatures Wait so you dont have any troops? Sorry i just loved this series so much that its made me want to make an eldar army, and i just cant wrap my head around it lol I guess there is vanguard detatchments that let you take more elites lol
@@JazzToTheTwo yeah these units aren't troops. You don't have to take any troops at all. You could bring a few squads of rangers as they are troops and super cheap. 50 points for 5 i think?
Was thinking of a custom army concept, but once I held the spruces in hand the size made me very insecure. (new sororitas plastic models) they feel so small and I don't want to f them up. :/
I know how you feel! I can assure you the best thing to do is paint one! If it turns out bad...you can strip the paint from it and give it another go. This practice will build your confidence and get the processes and techniques in your mind. Then you can move onto the whole army! Give it a go! Worst case scenario is you need to strip a model and start again :)
@@SlayerMiniatures thanks, but I am making it hard for me and want to have a lot of kitbashing with my army since it's a bit of a mix between 2 factions.

@@SlayerMiniatures was thinking about creating a sisters order that "fell" for tzeentch because they seek knowledge. (so basically mixing sisters with thousand sons) giving them more of a space marine look(armors for example) and mix sisters and TS iconography while keeping the TS colors.

Ha! Good point Nicholas! It will look like a yellow tracksuit when painted
some cool dynamic poses in this. i like the one in an executioner pose. point blank lascannon - brutal!
