I cried when you were painting the house. It reminded me of when I used to walk my dog in the evenings. We would walk by our neighborhood, and watch the sunset turn those bright houses into a deep landscape. We loved to walk slowly and just look at the little windows filled with light. The contrasts, the colors, being with my dog, that all felt immense in heart right now. I lost my dog last year, and so I miss him so much. Thank you for sharing your art with the world, and for giving me the gift of remembering that memory.

I'm so happy that I found your channel. Your videos are genuine and real, I love that you let the nail polish of your thumb fingernail be imperfect. I'm really enjoying your video! Thank you for your work and inspiration!
I love how your paintings don't look so complicated and too extravagant ..they're simple yet beautiful ...an amazing way to fill your sketchbook..also really nice way of using different shades of similar colours in one painting
That night landscape /housescape made me feel so emotional! And so did your sketchbook tour, there's a soft quality and an intent in your work that whispers me things I wasn't aware I longed to hear. Sorry if I'm a weirdo 🥲
I love the authenticity in your videos. You showed an authentic sketchbook that's real and you showed how you cover up your mistakes:) instant subscribe!:)
idk i almost started crying looking at the house painting.. it made me yearn and i gasped when you turned back pages and there was a lily paining. breathtaking. dude if u ever sell prints of your art, i'll be the first in line to buy
This so delecate and intricate and graceful. Didn't know humans can do this, espessially with traditional art materials. You're encredably good at this! Thank you for the video!
It never occurred to me that I could put my gouache in a pan like I do with my watercolors. Your work is seriously charming. I’m so glad to have found your channel.
You can! Just make sure to keep the palette as airtight as possible, as gouache has a tendency to crack and separate from the pans much more so than watercolors when exposed to air
Yeah you can do it with any gouache but may have some of the issues mentioned above, but this Mijello gouache is specifically formulated to work well in pans. I believe it's closer to a gouache-watercolour hybrid in its qualities from what I've heard. So it's not meant to crack and rewets easier than most gouache but I believe it is also a bit more transparent and dries less matte.
That was so soothing to watch! The entire video is completely lovely- ASMR, Swatches, Painting.. Simply fab ❤ I enjoyed every piece of it, esp. the Twighlight house. Subscribed! ❤
I wrote too soon! I must write again and say how much I loved getting to watch you paint. It’s a really great experience and the blue studies in both books were excellent. Thank you so much for sharing some of your process! I am bound and determined to do some more gouache! I would like to try some monochrome studies. Even some simple ones for me to start off with would give me some valuable lessons on values. I am really just so appreciative of you sharing your work and some of your process! It is very inspiring! After my move, I shall take up paint brush and calligraphy pen again!
i saw many trees and branches without leaves there! i also looove drawing that so much :) reminds me of my painting which is branches with the word "stuck" that really stuck in it made with pointilism, my teacher loves it 🖤 i know this quite oot from your video, but your video makes me feel nostalgic, it's so calming and warm..
I am soooooo so so happy to have a sketchbook tour + drawing at the same time, and I need moooooore more more!!!! it was too short omg !! Nahhh for real : thank you so much for your high quality video
This was so beautiful to watch!! Thank you for sharing!! Also, I’m awaiting my liquid graphite to come in after watching your video on it. I’m so excited to try it out!! Eek!
Does the gouache dry up in that palette? I tried putting winsor newton gouache in one and they didn't stick to the surface. Ended up drying into tiny pieces. D:
Gorgeous ! for the work "twilight house" I found this moment very moving, I don't know how to explain this feeling. thank you for this video and hello from France😊
Watching you work makes me wonder why I am so hesitant to get back to my art practise. How do you deal with overcoming fear towards your own creative work!? Do tell us. Your work is simply stunning and it gives us such joy to watch your process. 🎉❤🎉
While working on the house sketch, I think she modeled her method of overcoming the fear. Even though she didn't like the sketch at first, she kept the faith and pushed through the ugly stage. That's what we all have to improve on, it seems. I'm going to close my laptop and put some color on a page in a minute. I hope you can, too.
I admire your videos! It's always a combination of beautiful pictures and pleasant music. While watching, I don’t notice how the tears begin to flow. But these are like tears of healing. It's like therapy for the soul. By the end of the video, I gain new strength, inspiration, rebirth. I'm glad that I discovered your channel. Thanks a lot! P.s. I was wondering what meaning do you attach to the blue color? The one you use in your works. For me it is bright, light, but slightly sad at the same time. What do you think about it?
I’m loving it! Do you use reference photos for your house paintings? I’d like to practice, so any reference recommendations are welcome 🤗 stunning and inspiring as usual
So wonderful to see your process. I'm inspired to try gouache again. I wonder: how do you keep your paints so wet over time while in your palette? I assume they dry into cakes in the wells. Do you just rewet and use them again?
If I ever went to inspiration to draw anything, I just need to look for you because even when I see you place of blobs of color here and there, in my eyes looks beautiful, so really, you are my watercolor in Muse. And I haven’t been done water coloring in 3 to 4 years ever since I started doing pottery. will haven’t been doing pottery either because I am tired ha ha ha anyways, I think I’m gonna use your drawing as an inspiration to fill out my notebook that looks so bland with just black n white text. Thank you doodnight~
Such a wonderful calming video! What is the SIZE of the Etchr sketchbook from the beginning? Thank you! Has this Etchre sketchbook been discontinued? Could you post a link. I am not finding this perfect sketchbook hot press with deckled on outer edge... I have been looking for this.
EVERYONE WAKE UP HER MAJESTY HAS BLESSED US ONCE AGAIN
I AGREE WITH YOU!
Lol literally 😂

Having premade cards on hand so that you can have identical drawings spaces (11:03) is so smart! I’m adding that to my tool kit ☺️
same! its so clever and would make small sketches and studies be way more convenient and quick to do haha

You can’t do it with acrylic gouache bc it’ll dry & set and not re-wet. Any watercolour type gouache will work however.
idk why but your painting of the house made me so emotional. I loved it!
Pear? Your blue house makes me sooooo happy. Thank you!
And i was speechless like the heck are these printed one?God has given you both hardwork and talent!!!He has blessed your hands!1

this is so inspiring,,,it makes me want to get back into practicing landscapes. than you for sharing! :D
Синий 💙 дом впечатлил! Так красиво, но для меня оч сложно: тонкие линии, наложение цветов, тени, усидчивость не про меня. Гуашь похожа на акварель

Absolutely beautiful ❤️
Hi pearfleur! I don’t know if you have a vid of your favorite brushes, but I was wondering about the one you’re using at 16:02 ?
so excited to try make my own gouache palette now!! thank you 😊
what kind of brush are those? i don't recogbize them and i feel they di a super good job with the gouache
brushes are from etchr :)
