I like that panel. Have you thought of designing one for the other side of the dash that would wrap under the wiper motor and extend across to the other fender? Or design a one piece item that would smooth the whole firewall ? Bet you could sell plenty of them along with a bonding agent for those of us that don't weld?
I welded up all my unnecessary holes and smoothed mine with filler...i didn't weld up the holes for my firewall insulation plugs but I'm looking for something that looks better than those cone plugs sticking thru

I plan on putting weldable primer on the back side to prevent rust
