Religious or not? As a skeptical thinker who relies on reason I have to say "not" when it comes to believing in religions and their gods. You will be hard pressed to find truth within the hypocrisy that is religion. Okay, that got a bit dark … 😀
But no, not religious myself.
YOU WATCHED THE WRONG ONE BUT PUT THE RIGHT ONE AS THE THUMBNAIL.
This was a Royal Command Preformance and Rowan was there on special invite of Prince Charles.
Joel, you probably did not take note of the final shot of those seated? It was Prince Charles and Camilla. He is our King in waiting...
This is the updated version. The original is years old and it’s less jovial, more scathingly British. (And obvs Trump doesn’t get a mention) 😬
I'm an Agnostic. I guess he left out the Adulterers in this version, who he usually includes after the fornicators. Perhaps the presence of Prince Charles and Camilla influenced this decision.
Atheist. Cant believe any thing with a lack of evidence, much less any god concept to which any genuine evidence rejects (like every god so far).
There was a comedy radio series years ago that was based in hell called "Old Harry's Game". You can find it on youtube if you want to give it a try, it does do a lot of British cultural references. Obviously you can't really react to it, but you may like it. ua-cam.com/video/jbVmOQU-q-A/v-deo.html
Three groups received a free pass; Judaism, Islam and Pagans.
Religious or not? As a skeptical thinker who relies on reason I have to say "not" when it comes to believing in religions and their gods. You will be hard pressed to find truth within the hypocrisy that is religion. That's why religions require believing without knowing (also known as faith), when it comes to believing in gods faith is all they have.
Like so many people here, even I hadn't seen that before.
Your reaction when he said viewers of life of Brian. Lol.
Did you notice right at the end it was Prince Charles and his wife Camilla in the audience, laughing.? My religious beliefs have changed over my lifetime. I'm more of a taoist now.
The Devil sketch is one of Rowan Atkinsons best & there are better versions out there. Check out Belfast 1980.
After the French the original sketch said the Germans….I’m sure you have a lot to talk about.

You missed the point, this was filmed in front of Prince Charles and Camilla at the Royal Variety Performance. They are the couple in the last shot!
