    Scott, as a lady of "a certain age" as well as an avid amateur detailer of my MINI Cooper, I just want to tell you I love your videos. You are thorough, honest and realistic. By the way, I live 10 miles from Griot's headquarters and flagship store in Tacoma, WA and they are an incredible company with great products. Keep 'em coming for us, please.

    I agree. I love Griot's. It's fantastic. I only use it as a car owner, not a professional detailer, but I can't imagine anything working better or leaving a cleaner, like-new surface.

    Thanks for your review! Someone recommended a few products for me to use, and your review sold me on picking this one. You answered all of my questions and concerns.

    I recently subscribed and find your videos very informative, clear, and to the point. I agree about the Griot's cleaner and use it often. My takeaway from this video is the brush you used. I just ordered one on Amazon after seeing it here in the video and can't wait to try it. My wife's van and my truck have dirt in the grain of the plastic arm rests and door panels and I have struggled to clean it well but I've never used a brush like that so my fingers are crossed. Cheers!

    Use this to prep my 2017 Fiat 500c Abarth before applying interior protectant.
    Cleans stains off the red leather with ease with no scent, but I always use a damp cloth after, just in case. Used this on a light beige faux leather bag and it removed all stains.

    Scott i use this too just on my car and it works great. Same as you i have the 35oz one with that nozzle and its so uncomfortable. I prefer their 22oz nozzles.

    Scott. Isn't Griot's Interior Cleaner very similar to Chemical Guy's Nonsense Cleaner? Obviously, CG is dilutable to your application or your preference vs Griot's. I bought Griot's IC since it was marked down for $2 at some auto parts store and I cleaned my leather seats and did a great job. I still have it for those messy issues on the leather only. I did buy a gallons of CG Nonsense but will definitely try since CG also claims no residue on it as well. Great video and thanks.

    Does this product leave a finish? In other words, after cleaning with this product do I need to dress the interior? I like a matte finish, like with what I get from Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer Cleaner. I just don't think it cleans very well. By the way, you sound just like Al Michaels!

    • @thinkforyourself5672

      2 years later lol but no it leaves no protection or film. I use it on the dash and doors. And then dress it with 303 Aerospace Protectant

    Hey Scott, would you do a review on a glass cleaner from Dollar Tree? It's called "Glass & Surface Cleaner" and it comes as an aerosol can.
    I'm curious what you're opinion would be on it and how it stacks up to other products you use/have used.

    • @jordanjohnson7264
      @jordanjohnson7264 6 років тому +5

      SuperHollowfied in my opinion, I generally don’t trust budget/cheap stuff like that. I would stick to higher grade / premium stuff. Your car is a expensive thing.. to me it’s worth paying more and having piece of mind that I get a quality item.

    Great video Scott! Another benefit to using the Griot's interior cleaner is that it's a clear liquid without all the added dyes that can stain the more delicate interior surfaces. There are a number of products out on the market that perform exceptionally well but the manufacturers go a little overboard on the coloring of their products.

    Why would you dilute if the product works?

    • @OKIMR2
      @OKIMR2 6 років тому

      You typically would want to dilute depending on the situation, and the specific vehicle you are working on, if the car is extremely filthy than you would want to have a stronger (more aggressive ratio) by being able to dilute you could ultimately control the strength of the product.

    I’m brand new to detailing and I’ve been studying a lot of your videos. I’ve just purchased this and also dr beasleys plastic and leather conditioner. Would it be okay for me to use this then use the conditioner/protectant, or should I try to remove any extra residue from the griots apc before any conditioner?
