I have only had one Husqvarna blower and it was the worst ever. 356btx model and the motor mounts snapped off within probably under 20 hrs use. It is or was the best as far as comfort tho and nothing else. The muffler is also connected to the cylinder on top so any carbon that finds its way out and breaks free can fall back in the cylinders top end. If it had lasted long enough that might have been a issue but it never had time to get carbon buildup. The blower tubes look new also and I do like the cloth cover for the flex tube to shield it from the sun and extend the life of that part. Wish they would have put more effort into building the rest of the thing tho.
I have the br600 already, its a great blower. Do you think it's worth upgrading to the br700? Doesn't look like any huge difference in power from what I see in this video.
les4lifepaul cfm rating in the tube is higher than the 600. I believe it is around 900cfm out and i think the 600 is around 750ish. I love my br600. Everyone that uses it is amazed at the power and output.
I have many backpack blowers and I love Kawasaki and my redmax EB431 is still kicking. My BR550 I dont like nearly as much as my BR420 which is more than twice as old and has much more use and so far has needed no repairs unlike the BR550 needed a carb, backplate, a strap, and a gas cap. Its quieter and uses less fuel but I feel is a P.O.S. compared to the BR420 or BR340 I have had for probably two decades now. I am selling the BR550 or trying to is more accurate.
Thanks for the reply. That's not good if the BR 700 isn't good at scouring or wet leaves. I've read that some people have tried to put the BR450 tip on the 700 to help with scouring.
I made an adjustable tip for the 580. I can adjust it with the same hand I use for the throttle. It's great for volume and scouring. Would you like to see a video of how I made it and it in action?
So do you prefer husky's handle with the offset over centered Stihl? Haven't seen husky in person yet and currently choosing between BR800 and 580BTS - that handle drives me crazy thinking it might be weird to control. I need to find one at a dealer.
@@CleanCutLawnsNC Oh. Another vote against that handle. Oh well. Ordered BR800C. Fingers crossed for side start mechanism not to break. p.s. nice overview, which helped me a bit to take the final decision.
@@CleanCutLawnsNC It has arrived. OMFG - what a beast is that! Lets wait and see how it gonna handle wet leaves in late Autumn. p.s. It's VERY comfortable.

We have both br600 and br700. Most people and I believe that husky 570 is stronger than both. But we prefer stihl because of its design. We grow hazelnuts. We collect hazelnuts together with blowers in the harvest. In our area Stihl comes with a curvy tube in the headwhich is very useful for taking out hazelnuts in the hazel coppice. When you turn the curvy head down and blow in to the ground in the coppice, hazelnuts being pushed out with the air. speed trigger more soft to me which is important when you use it during all day in the harvest time. Beside compact design, more efficient in fuel consumption(I think). But Curvy head has a disadvantage along with its advantage. Because of it, your arm is constantly being pushed the opposite(rocket effect)
Buy anything but stihl until they figure out how to make straps that hold the damn thing on your back. Numerous people including myself complain the straps slide off your shoulders
Which blower are you using?!?! We want to know!!

The 580 hands down. Love Stihl but Husqvarna makes a superior product.
Yeah the 580 definitely has the power in this competition. Thanks for watching!

The BR 800 is out now. It’s got the MPH of the 600 and the CFM of the 700. And has a cool side start too. Anyways, it would be best of both worlds
nsatoday not out yet. My dealer says December
My personal opinion echo and red max are my favorite they sure beat Power of the steel blowers
They absolutely do beat the power! I have since got the PB8010 and have a video on it

Husky 580 definitely pushed those leaves like a boss!
It'll definitely do it!
Good video man!
Thanks man!

Can't wait for the new Dyson model db290s . Supposed to be a beast.
Jeffrey Guyer have you tried out that blower? I haven't seen or heard anything about it

la br 700 es muy potente

@@CleanCutLawnsNC you are beautiful😍⚡
something i dont like about the sthl is that the flexable tube part is too short and it makes it too hard to blow straight infront you.

i have the 580bts got it 2 months ago
its an awesome blower that I personally think gets the shaft
Would you buy it again any problems with it yet should I get it?
i would buy it again if i had to
Chris Kennedy great blower.i just bought mine
congrats gavin hope you will enjoy it as much as i do :)
STIHL 😎😉
i got 580bts Last year before i knew BR700 was coming it replaced BR380 what is BR700 like on fuel as it got same engine bhp & fuel tank as br600
Paul Goodchild the BR700 is better on fuel as I filled up less times this day then my buddy who helped me shoot the video.
Jaylen
I wouldn't sell my 600 just to buy a 700. however if I didn't have a blower and was going to buy one I would get the 700.
STHL should sell a tube that we can instal onto the 580 or 8500
David C that would be awesome. That's exactly right! I would buy one
in which of the two is the br600 stihl or husqvarna bt570 more powerful? please someone answer me thank you
Carlos Ramírez I've never ran the 570 so I'm not sure. Sorry man

R H I never thought about that but after you point it out I have noticed that it happens a lot!
I thought that was me being lazy , one strap constantly hanging loose off my shoulder . But love that BR 600 , 1 pull starts every damn time
Add bungee chord or buy Stihl chest strap
My BR 600 flat get s it , I gotta be careful where I point it at idle
Yeah I like the 600. That's the blower that got me wanting any big blower that came out
Yeah , if not careful I would end up doing the neighbors yards also
Stihl is the best
Definitely a good option
Yep
The EBZ 8500 is the best blower out there
Stihl BR 200
You like it?
Yes
