hahaha facial elasticity test! ... shades of 1950's salt flats, test pilot, astronaut trials! :) haha, gotta love Damien's confidence... "it might go higher" :) * But seriously...The seriousness and attention to detail -- even in fun -- with which y'all conduct these tests is an indicator of your true professionalism and integrity. (or so it seems to me in my less than humble opinion) -- stay safe and keep up the good work!
This was great - I have tears in my eyes. I own the BR 600 Magnum and the 700 you tested. Also tested the Husqvarna. What is strange is - not doing the scientific tests like yours truly- I find my old 600 actually blows the best?! Strange - that being said the 600 and 700 seem to perform better especially with wet leaves and saw dust. I believe both companies make superb blowers. best
I'd like to know the comparison on endurance in regards which one loses power quicker and how much with both being run on the same amount of hours. AKA which Carb takes a dump quicker
After watching the rock hit the curb i thought hmm maybe they should use that as a guideline for the rock and blow it against the curb to keep a straight line? Either way i thought the stihl was the better blower and the husky has a better look to it..
Lol I have been debating on really which one to go with. Husky or sthil. I think I will go with husqvarna. But that is a cool video August. I really enjoyed the face test.
I have a redmax ebz8500 which is the same as the bts580. I really like it. Plus I like that it is a true 2 stroke and not a 4mix engine with valves like the Stihl br700.
I want to see the 200 mod, vs 200 stock, vs 201, vs 540! I had a chance to buy a new still in box 200t for $200 when I first got into tree work, didn’t know anything about it so I went home to look online and the saw was sold by the time i called the owner back. Kicked myself ever since, even tho I really love my 201
I've always been a fan of redmax backpack blowers, but that was prolly cause it was either sthil or redmax back 15 years ago and the sthil just didn't have the power. But my sthil 880 magnum wrap is by far my fav saw lol
Well, well well........we are really rakin' in the big bucks today! er I mean BLOWING in the big bucks today! ;) this video reminds me of homeschoolers, EVERYTHING is school, except this is workschool! Really funny when Damion and Adam both just look over their shoulder at the same time, like, man, I hope nobody's watching us! One of the great perks of your own company, you CAN just stop and do something way of task, I mean you could done the test with real debris, right, but this was way more fun, good on ya men!
Just wondering how come you don't upload as many tree videos as you used to if it's because it takes too long to edit you could always put some unedited videos up people still like to watch them because we learn stuff is up to you though it's your channel obviously great work keep up with great work
Thanks for the enthusiasm. I edit video for 2 basic reasons. 1. I know how. Most UA-cam "uploaders" would if they could. 2. It's fun for me. I enjoy doing it. Editing allows the content creator to tell a long story in a short time, like poetry. Raw video does not move fast enough to properly respect the time of the audience. Additionally, I endeavor to upload reasonably well produced videos for the sake of consistency in library quality for new and returning viewers. Also my videos are not curriculum, they are meant to be entertainment for myself and others. Some day I'll make instructional videos that will be nearly exclusive for teaching purposes. I'm not interested in doing that now. When I do, I will put my heart into it and never just dump raw job site video onto my channel.
August Hunicke if you could upload more often that would be awesome but I understand where you are coming from hope you keep doing it for a long time into the future love the videos keep them up never stop being awesome and can you put your websites and Facebook links in your descriptions of videos please thanks keep awesome
August, great test, one of stihl claims that the 700 is lightweight. is there is less fuel capacity, from the 600, that way they saying that it weighs less, just like they did to the 201, from the 200t fuel capacity. have a great day. keep up the great job. say hello to the guy's. and Joe to,
The Husky is a true 2 stroke power plant. The Stihl is a dysfunctional 2 stroke. Seriously the 700 seems to blow a more concentrated stream and the Husky seams to be a larger stream of more air...which may all come down to pipe sizing design... but I bought the Husky for the real 2T power. Don't need a dysfunctional member in my Family.
August Hunicke yeah the Stihl engine runs like a 4 stroke engine with valves but still with an oil mixture like normal 2 stroke engines. It is meant to lower emissions and be more economical. It works but I have had two engines develop problems :-(
with the Stihl vs husky comparison it always comes down to cost and power to weight ratio. I have always used stihl for top handle saws and husky for mid range and big saws. what you should have also compared in the video is the weight of both blowers.
We did at the end give props to Stihl for its being lighter. Hard to watch it that far I imagine. Keep in mind also, I could care less which one is "better."
At 5:18 it should say He blew it not fail these are highly scientific test please lets use proper terminology we are professionals. If only consumer reports would do there testing like this they'd get more views
Andrè - You might be breaking my horns, but it's funny how I climbed for a friend's company today, and I was teasing them about the fact that there was NO heavy duty push room on any of the trucks, or the chipper!!! In my company, that was of prime importance!!! 😂😂👍👍
Poor show, could of had that tree down, chipped and logged and been back home in the amount of time it took you! Hope you don't class yourself as a professional, because all of that was just plain bad practice!!!!
Kieran Evans I bet you are one of those guys that screams his head off all day. You should try and loosin up a bit. I would give anything to have this crew by my side.
Lumberjake Tree Service LLC very sorry, I've actually posted this on the wrong video!! It was meant for a guy felling a large tree very poorly, my UA-cam must have moved onto next video as I posted! Very sorry, I will remove my comment, I have nothing but respect for August and his crew, I know they know what they are doing and watch their videos regularly!
"Hello welcome to shop talk this is august's west coast muscle blower. Not to be used for any kind of blowing ."
hA!!!!

KEWL! You guys have got to be great to work with … I wish I lived closer.
The most scientific test I've ever seen... So cool!! Thanks guys
I'd like to know the comparison on endurance in regards which one loses power quicker and how much with both being run on the same amount of hours. AKA which Carb takes a dump quicker
Aaaaahaaaahahahaaa..... you guys crack me up!
Good stuff, great way to end my day! Thanks for posting it up August.
Be safe brother!
Randy
I bet the chainsaw guy could really make those things blow harder. Would like to see him hop them up.
v rock If he gets hold of the blower....we might be able to shoot our throw bags into the trees!
You guys are hilarious time to get some real work done now😎👍
That parking lot is super clean now!
I sent the check for the 200t and will pick it up next week, maybe sometime i could bring it over for the stock vs. beefed test
Battle Roy-AL LOL even entertained my wife as she secretly gawked over my shoulder
I’m curious how many tree crews are going out tomorrow with soccer balls?!?! Pretty cool!
Watched all of it!
After watching the rock hit the curb i thought hmm maybe they should use that as a guideline for the rock and blow it against the curb to keep a straight line? Either way i thought the stihl was the better blower and the husky has a better look to it..
The ball experiment was actually pretty cool lol
Lol I have been debating on really which one to go with. Husky or sthil. I think I will go with husqvarna. But that is a cool video August. I really enjoyed the face test.
LMAO!!! Love it. Best head to head test yet.

Hi Guys !!! What you thinking about blower SHINDAIWA EB8520RT. Here in Poland is most strong blower on the market. Who using??
Michał Tla sounds good. Good brand.

When his chew blew out😂😂
This is the most scientific comparison test i've ever seen!!!! Lolol
How do you like the 6.7 powerstroke. Any issues
no issues, love it

Oh,
Not much going on around here.
Thanks for asking.
How about on your end ?

Rumour has it...little to no work got done that day :-)
You should hold the ball on there and see if it will build pressure then let go.
Fun stuff. I like stihl blowers. Always have.
Real test would have been to use them on a driveway with expansion joints trying to move a cigarette butt.
The face test was hilarious
Any content is better than none ! Lol
Not sure what to tell the Duchess about the video content, hilarious guy's "what do you keep chuckerling about on the computer"
Stıhl br 700 vs husqvarna 570 whıch?
It has to be said. This video blows. Lol
Good stuff
I'll stick with my 580 BTS, in the field it shifts more shit than anything else!
Come on pretty boy Damien didn't want to have his face blown!
That's lucky CCR in the ears
At the next tree fest, a new competition has just being invented, the blower skill test...lol
I like the STIHL BR700
Send it!
I love my husky blower. I like to make stuff fly!
Is tree work slow or what ? LMAO
Good words
Leaf blowers!!!! now that’s what I’m about haha
Stihl wins
Stihl always wins
I’m bias
Stihl blew the snot out of Adam's nose! I like husky saws but that stihl blower has power.
You’ll are having way too much fun lol
Ok that was fun
Husky is better imo. Not 4-mix so less to go wrong and doesn't strain your arm as much when using it.
not 4 mix?

I watched the entire thing...I think the echo from home depot won...haha
If u never used a husky 580 it is powerful
Stihl br 700 is the best
they are not i like the redmax they are better the Stihl always get problems
What fun.
At 5:18 it should say He blew it not fail these are highly scientific test please lets use proper terminology we are professionals. If only consumer reports would do there testing like this they'd get more views

a kick-ass customized chinese bamboo broom, goes a long way.
Nick - Absolutely! Although I like the "H" version. Same reliable power, though...
Andrè - You might be breaking my horns, but it's funny how I climbed for a friend's company today, and I was teasing them about the fact that there was NO heavy duty push room on any of the trucks, or the chipper!!! In my company, that was of prime importance!!! 😂😂👍👍
FOR SCIENCE!
Buy the ECHO. You won’t regret it😄
I Regret it! 🤬 That’s why I’m looking at these videos!
Red max 8500 kills both those

Funny video
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👍
Red max or nothing
Haha that's funny
Real world tests🤣💪Stihl all the way!
Stihl is better
Poor show, could of had that tree down, chipped and logged and been back home in the amount of time it took you! Hope you don't class yourself as a professional, because all of that was just plain bad practice!!!!
Kieran Evans, sometimes it's important to keep morale up by goofing off.
