Once again, another awesome video, the rod looks cheap and so does the reel, one thing I think we all forget is that there were lots of fish caught on nothing more than a stick and some line!
Those things are a killer. I can almost say I’m not surprised to hear that. That had to be pretty exciting to notice it was a steelhead on the line… and a good one
What’s up Brad?! Been a long time man. I haven’t done much out there but have been starting to explore more to the east. Let me know your schedule and I will try and coordinate with you and we will do some fishing
Thank you. The kayak is a Cascade Pro I ordered it on the Bi-mart website. There isn’t much for reviews but the price (compared to others of its size) was decent and I figured I’d end up doing my own review on it. So far I’m really happy with it. Now I need to try getting into some bays with it
They aren’t as loud as the sound. My camera is setup on a tripod that has metal feet, which are in direct contact with the kayak, which is hollow. It transfers a lot of sound and vibration. It’s not silent but also not as loud as you’d think
This guy does not know how to play a fish properly. Fish bites, you barely hear any drag, then he direct reels it in. Perfect method to put undue strain on the reel, and taxes the rod. Using these pen rods, you need to play every Fish. Pull up reel down, pull up reel down. The way he does it, that little rod is going to break soon.
Lol 100% positive I said in the video that the whole setup was cheap and the reel sucked, either there was zero drag or it was way too loose, So tight was the way to go if a fish was to be landed. Play every fish lol. Thanks for the nonsense advice man. Maybe just stick to doing what you do and letting others do what they do. Pull up and reel down? It’s a tiny trout, not a friggin monster salt water fish. Good luck to ya out there
Love fishing that lake! Another nice vid
timothy lake ?
@@robm.6400 I was thinking Timothy or Harriet.
Yes
I want to see catching rock fish again
Me too. A week ago I lost about a 40 inch ling off a jetty. Friend tried to net it and it flopped out and snapped off. Time for a gaff!!!
I get bored doing the same thing all the time and I like eating a variety of fish. I will be back to rock fishing again soon.

Can you put a different reel on that or is it a proprietary size?
Great 5 minute Friday video. 🎣🤘
Thank you, this was pretty fun! Not the biggest fish but it’s all about the adventure. Thanks for watching
Looks a lot like Timothy Lake, nice day 👍
It is.. I spent a bunch of time there before the campgrounds opened. I love that lake
Me and the bf went surf fishing last weekend and u will never believe what we caught.....a 36 in steelhead on a sandstorm! It was incredible!

That's awesome buddy
Thanks bro, made for an interesting day
I bet it did
I challenge you to catch jetty fish with a solid plug like a quikfish or something, even if you have to weight it.
Love the channel.
Interesting 🤔
I may have to give that a try.
Thanks for the support!

I didn't realize those paddles made that much noise

@@AnglingAddictsPNWHello, hope you’re doing great. I had a quick question what pound fishing line is used on this reel?
