I'm building a 09 Audi A4 2.0t that has been bored to 83.5mm JE racing pistons, IE rods, intercooler, CTS big boss 600 the tuner says I will be running 28lbs or boost around 650hp. I also switched out my ZF6 speed auto for ZF8 out of a 2013...I can't wait to see what mine runs. Sweet ride I love that setup.
Is the B9 3.0 dual injection like the supercharged crec 3.0t engine where it has MPI & direct injection? My Q7 is dual injection but thinking about selling and getting sq5 or maybe sq7 in a year or 2. Are there any expensive weak links on the B9 platform that has to be addressed before turning it up with bigger turbo & tune ? I’m stage 2 plus dual pulley on my Q & it was cheap to do but your B9 is rolling out my man
EA839 B9/B9.5 Is DI only. No port injection sadly. The crec is an amazing platform and you should tune with 034Motorsport. Their Q7 tune just dropped. Just keep up with regular maintenance. 034 has more information on stage 3 up keep. Build the CREC first!
@ yah I’m in contact with 034 as we speak waiting on the stage 2 + to drop. I’m jackal right now but I know how much R&D goes into tuning with 034 with all there extra sensors they data log with to R & D their tune to its full potential. Just installed my fuel it kit this weekend so I can now tune with E. I think jackal is ok for single injection ?? ….But there hp #’s for the crec is lower than the older 3.0t direct injection which kinda tells me they are lost on tuning dual injection since more power potential is definitely there for the taking on the crec. I appreciate the fast response & info. I’m a ASE certified mechanic & I am OCD beyond what most people what ever think about. I’m all about the small details. I have my oil analyzed every 4k miles by Lake Speed JR @ speed diagnostics. Look him up. He is way more than just a glorified tribologist. He had designed piston rings for total seal , designed the new speed air pistons for diesels & was head of R& D for Joe Gibbs & Driven motor oils. Check out drivens DI series oil. It’s the best there is for direct injection engines for sure.
@ I cannot send pictures but I ran liqui Molly , Motul , Mobil 1 euro each doing 4k oil changes and out of all my UOA’s the DI DRIVEN oil is by far the best at wear protection & also has the right additives to combat LSPI found in direct injection engines under low rpm loads.

Not sure what your light is referred too. It’s because I have the seats removed and unplugged + smaller rims and tires + traction control off. All those lights go away once everything is plugged in

Imo any carbon hood needs aero catch hood latches. Same thing happened to me before in my Infiniti. without the pins/ latches there’s a slight gap and bye bye hood.
Could run regular q5 front brakes and as light as possible rotors, some more carbon bits and yea 9.90 all day, man I’m really stoked to build a 2020-22 s4 , still on the fence to go 2019-20 m340 tho depends which spec I find first at the right time
@@onuohafamily already running the lightest rotors all around. The B9 Q5 front calipers are the same weight unfortunately. Need someone to make a small lightweight brake kit.
I love this build and this series, it makes me wish I had the money to buy the Macan S instead of the Base so I could have some of this platforms tuning potential. One thing I am curious about is have you thought about adding port injection? It would help you add more boost to run more times plus if you did meth injection you'd get wicked high AKI. Seriously can't wait to see what else you do on this channel!

I believe you need 10 mm wider CONTINENTAL ExtremeContact Sport 6 or 7 and definitely more air in rear tires for sure to gain the last not so little juice 😉
You need to allow your hood to close by itself. You pushing on the hood does not ensure that the hood going to stay completely closed. You need to let it down halfway and let it drop till it's fully closed

I had 2 different Braille Lithium-ion G30 (5.5lbs.) batteries & both left me stranded with dead batteries several times. Im looking for a lightweight battery that is reliable. 1: Why not running a meth? Please Make a video of overall condition of the engine after soo much stress. With the camera in the piston area to see wear and tear. I'm honestly shocked to see how sturdy a stock trans stock engine and stock differential system. Blew me away.
No thanks. 034’s tcu tune puts in the work with perfectly optimised shift points for the quickest acceleration possible while in amax. Why would I shift manually? I’m trying to run as quickly as possible here.

Yup… stupid clamp. Upgraded my charge pipe clamps to T bolt style clamps after this event.

New NHRA rules specify 8.9s now. No worries but your local track could be very strict.
